- SanFranAdventurer0 contributionsWell Done Presentation of a Difficult SubjectWhile I am super familiar with the history of WWII and the Holocaust, this was my first in person visit to a concentration camp. Our guide, Rebecca, did an excellent job of presenting the gruesome history of Sachenhausen, without sugar coating. I really appreciated the size limit on our group, making for a more intimate and manageable tour. I highly recommend this tour.Written October 8, 2024

Our guide for the day, Lewis made it such a rich and educational experience, one that I will never forget. Don’t hesitate to book this tour, learn the lessons of the past, and as our guide Lewis pointed out at the end, it must inform what to be vigilant to in the present. 🫶🏼Written October 7, 2024

He shared a lot of info not only about the buildings on the tour but also about the artists behind each light display. This was an excellent walking tour - tour guide Dave was superb - he covered off a huge number of historical sites of interest, gave us plenty of time to take a break and he kept us all entertained over the 3.5-4 hours. Cost of the tour is very reasonable and it is a fantastic way to get a flavour of what Berlin has to offer. We used the tour as a way to identify locations and museums we wanted to come back to the following day. Very well organised and easy to locate the starting point.

I had a great time with Berlin Walking Tours. Communication was efficient and I was able to make arrangements for a private tour less than a week in advance.
The guide, Kai, was very punctual, and was a historian and a gentleman. We met at my hotel and set off for what ended up as a good four hour or so walking survey of Berlin, including many of the key sites (Brandenburg Gate, Hitler’s Bunker, ‘Checkpoint Charlie’, He didn’t dumb things down, and was able to provide a lot of insights so that we were able to have a more interesting discourse. He also had great suggestions for further exploration, such as the Historical Museum, which was well worth the time.
Kai also told me a bit more about his other work, which I found very inspiring.
The time went by very quickly. Kai’s a good dude for sure, and I’d recommend the tour for anyone.

James was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. The tour left on time and 3.5hrs flew by. Great pace to the tour and not as much walking as I thought.. about 10,000 steps. The tour doesn't go to the east side gallery, so I would recommend adding that to your itinerary.

The four hours flew by, Georgia was easily one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had- really funny and informative. I usually zone out when a guide talks for a while, but I listened to every word. She also gave a rough itinerary of the day at the start which always helps. If you have one day in Berlin I would recommend doing this tour as you hit all the main tourist attractions, and if you have longer then I would recommend doing it Day 1 as there are plenty of tips for other things to do.

Had a fantastic day out on the walking tour around Berlin with our guide Kyle, it was great to learn about all the different facts about such a city like Berlin. The guide was also great at ensuring our security throughout the tour, just as Berlin like any city can be a hotspot for pickpockets in large groups. We also got some great tips and advice for our stay in regards to the best sights to visit whilst we were here (honest reviews about the TV tower for example). Amazing value for money and would book with this company again, we were going to do the LGBT tour of Berlin the next day but we slept in! Thanks agin

We often will do a walking tour when we first arrive in a city - helps to understand the city and you often get great tips from the guide. Our Berlin walking tour was the best we have ever done. Our guide (Ryan) was excellent and despite the soggy, cold and wet conditions the four or so hours flew by. The kids (19 and 21 yo) also loved it. Thank you Ryan for a great tour!

On my first morning in Berlin, I had the pleasure of taking this 3 1/2+ hour Tour principally of the Mitte Area, led by Polly. This is a popular tour, so the group was good-sized, but from the outset Polly did a superb job of engaging everyone and of providing very critical and constructive historical context for Berlin and Germany, Especially with reference to the unique history of the city post World War II. The pace of the tour was excellent and Polly answered questions and dealt with a wide range of interests very effectively, as well as nimbly handling a wildcard thrown at us, as we found ourselves having to navigate through a large friendly demonstration against current agricultural policies in Germany, complete with placards, floats and a significant presence of tractors.duction to the city of Berlin and to structures of great significance in understanding both history and contemporary . A tremendous introduction to the city of Berlin and two structures of great significance in understanding both history and contemporary Berlin.

This one was probably one of the best tours I've ever done on a city break (and the longest/best value for money).
Our tour guide was Alex, who was absolutely brilliant and very knowledgable. He went in to a lot of detail at the sights and gave just the right amount of context for the time we had.
I would definitely recommend this tour.
