Walk down Berlin’s Unter den Linden boulevard while listening to an introductory overview of Berlin's history, from its founding to the modern era. Next stops include the Berlin State Library, Neue Wache, the Reichstag, and Pariser Platz. Imagine what it was like for citizens to pass through Checkpoint Charlie between East and West Berlin, as well as visit Bebelplatz, where the Nazis burned banned books in 1933. Spend some time strolling along the Berlin Wall, and then stop at the Topography of Terror Museum, situated at the former Gestapo and SS Headquarters. The tour's last stops are Potsdamer Platz, the Friedrichstrasse, and the Gendarmenmarkt. Walk away with a city map including information about other things to do during your stay in Berlin.

Gregor provided a fantastic tour with many interesting stories and pieces of information. Really, really enjoyed his commentary. We had a fairly large group and my only suggestion would be to supply him and the party with head sets so everyone could hear him even while we were walking and he was answering questions.

Paul was an excellent guide. Good knowledge regarding history of the City through ages. Visited many of the iconic sites, mostly in the old East part. Would thoroughly recommend the tour but you need comfortable shoes!

Matti was a brilliant guide with lived experience of east Germany. He was interesting and knowledgable. We found out information and facts we would NEVER have found out by ourselves. Book with confidence and do on your first day as great whistle stop tour of the major sites and you can decided which to re-visit. Matti also had great recommendations of other things to do and see & discount card given for further bookings.

We went on this trip on Tuesday 21st March, our guide Jonathan N was excellent, patient and had a wealth of interesting knowledge about Berlin.
The trip was nearly 4 hours with a snack/lunch break halfway through.
I feel leaving Berlin I've learnt a lot about this city.
I'm so glad I booked this tour, was very reasonable for the money, and having a knowledgeable guide took the stress out of navigating the city and trying to discover the history for yourself.
Would recommend this trip to others coming to Berlin.

Xavier was a fantastic guide - knowledgeable, informative and extremely entertaining. We learned lots about Berlin that enabled us to get the best out of our stay and had fun at the same time. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
