From a cost point of view and the fact there where one bus for whole tour in Berlin, we decided on this company,
The bus was clean and the drivers did a great job, but technically side did not work properly. Often it change language during the tours (not only in one bus) and the information was in the lower end, and often not updated. Behind the trees you can see,….there was no trees.

Having done this type of tour in several other cities, this was not the best experience. Positives were that the sales lady was friendly and helpful, the upper deck of the bus was warm and the route covered all the key sights. However, it was not clear where to get the headphones and the stops were not clearly signposted or announced. We did the full route without stopping as I heard other passengers say that the buses were not very frequent. Would be a better experience if the stops were clearly marked and announced.

Identified by hotel concierge as best city tour operator and would agree the routing and the sights identified were excellent. They do two routes with the yellow route covering most of the city sights and the red route picking up two really good stops showing a section of the old wall with watch tower and the section of wall with artwork over a 1300m stretch. The old wall and watchtower also have a fabulous visitor centre which is well worth spending time at.

The stops for the hop on/hop off are vague (at the Hauptbahnof for example) when a more precise location would be immensely helpful. Then we waited for at least an hour for the first bus to come. Several calls to the office were made by several people waiting and we were told "in about 5 minutes" each time. When the bus came, it was standing room only, which meant there was also no place to plug into the audio tour. Compared to other tours from different companies and in different cities, this audio tour wasn't even that interesting, I'd rate it as OK. However given all of the troubles we had on the tour, I'd advise going with a different company. We did see many red buses come and go while waiting for City Circle.

I took this tour with my husband and two children, aged 6 and 8 on a Saturday. Went to catch the bus that was supposed to have a 16 minute frequency but there had been a problem and the bus took half an hour to arrive. The firs seat we took had terrible audio, glitches, weird sound, bad signal, couldn't hear anything, but changed seats after a couple of stops and it was ok. First part of the trip was ok, nice views up to Alex, there the bus stopped for at least 20 minutes under the blazing sun, after a long time someone came up and explained something in german, waited a bit longer. Finally the tour resumed but it turned out a big part of it had been chopped off because there was some sort of demonstration at Brandenburg Tor, we had to take an alternate route that collapsed with a traffic jam. So it was super slow, nothing much to see, no audio guide of course, kids bored and complaining. It was a pain and after a good 30 minutes of that and having made no more than ten blocks we just got off the bus. I'm not saying it's their fault but I'm sure with some planning they could have come up with some sort of back up solution or compensation. We spent a lot of money for a botched experience.

TERRIBLE! Avoid if you're an English speaker. The boat trip - offered no English commentary and it was dull so don't bother. The lady that served drinks was excessively rude and totally ripped us off. When I contacted them to complain they told me to contact their contracted boat company - which was unhelpful considering I paid them! Then the buses were infrequent and the commentary was out of date. Avoid!

Actually the bus ride wasn't bad and the devices with earphones let you hear the tour in the language of your choice. That is all good. Trouble is when you get to the end of the day you may not get back to where you started. Even though the interactive map with bus departure times says there is a bus leaving as late 5:58 or 6PM our driver stopped his bus at 5:40PM at stop #19 out of 23 stops, told us the tour was over and kicked us off. Fortunately Berlin has good public transportation and we were able to get a train back to our hotel.

I brought the Berlin welcome card all inclusive - overall all the other places we got to use my tickets were great apart from this vendor. The man at the shop where you are told to activate ride ticket told me they did not use this card, and I needed to find another tourist office, he was at Kurfürstendamm nr 216. On my photo it clearet States we should go there. So dissappointing, we were looking forward but many other reviews say this one is not great, sadly only one out of about 10 other vendors.

Bought two tickets for about €44 from the concierge in our hotel for December 10th, and was told to get on at Alexanderplatz.
Asked the woman advertising the tour when we got on for a receipt so that we could get off and back on as she took our payment slip. She said they don't do receipts and to just come find her when we want to get off and she will give us something. I asked twice to double check, she was adamant that was her story. I even came back down from the upper deck a third time just before we set off and she said 'don't worry just come find me'.
As soon as the bus was about to set off, she got off! So we were essentially stuck on a bus tour, unable to prove we'd paid for the tour so once we got off, we couldn't get back on. This was compounded by the fact that the driver didn't understand a word of English.
We got off to speak to another member of staff at another hop-on/hop-off point and they said they work independently so he would take the financial hit if he gave us the receipt and couldn't help. He said to try the person at the next stop.... surprise surprise. Same story. Told to go back and find the original woman, which when we eventually got back there, she was gone and replaced with someone else.
Disgusting service and a horrible way to run a business. I wouldn't ever recommend them to anyone.

Driving played his radio so loud we had trouble hearing the audio on the bus when wearing the earbuds. Spoke to him and he pretended not to understand English. Also spoke to an agent at a stop who too pretended not to understand English. It was obvious they didn’t care. They had already been paid; the tickets were already purchased.

HI booked a 2 day Berlin city hop on/off tour with cruise ....what colour are these buses as I see there are a few hop on/off buses. Just need to be sure we catch the right bus. The video referring to this commences with a building then there is just a quick glimpse of inside of bus with passenger reading a map. This tour departs from Alexanderplatz.

There are 2 bus companies, both seem to operate the same routes, but have different bus stops, though most are very close. As with the previous answer, both tops usually have people selling tickets who will point you in the right direction, though they tend to disappear late in the day.
