- donhE5270WA00Great tourWe really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Natasha was very well informed and provided a lot of information on Nuremberg. It was a well paced walk up the hill and finished at the market for lunch. We also did the Nazi Documentation Centre tour after this one with Natasha and thoroughly enjoyed that tour too!
- Granma6300Wonderful tour but allow 5 hours, not 4!Nick was an excellent guide and we thoroughly enjoyed our walk around Nürnberg. What was less enjoyable was finding out that the whole tour actually takes 5 hours, not 4. The hour for lunch was not included in the advertised time. This meant that Nick had to problem solve very quickly for us to make our train connection after the tour. Thanks Nick - you were very helpful!
- bbh00Five Stars all around despite Train problemsOur tour guide, Nic, was excellent in every way. Great comminication skills made the trip come alive. We had some mediocre weather that he plowed through for us. Our return trip from Nuremberg to Munich was plagued by train trouble involving unexpected cancellations and reroutes, none of it the fault of the tour, of course. But through it all, Nic kept his composure and sense of humor alive while looking after his group. The final reroute put us on the S Bahn out of Dachau. Some of our party did not have independent Local Transportation tickets, so Nic insisted on staying on to our ultimate S Bahn destinations in case a ticket issue came up. Incredibly professional service. Cannot recommend highly enough, especially our Tour Guide.
- C660IJstephenf00november23informative walk round the old town with stops for sight seeing and lunch. Interesting 2nd half of the tour around the rally grounds and zeppelin field
- Glenn B00Excellent introduction to NurembergWhenever traveling independently, my wife and I always try to do a walking tour when visiting a city for the first time. Our walking tour in Nuremberg did not disappoint. It was an excellent introduction to the history and cultural dynamics of not only the city but in the surrounding area. Our guide was excellent and we were never stressed in terms of keeping up with the group. It was a wonderful way to spend the day and we recommend it highly.
- tmahon45978900Great tour.Excellent tour guide - Scott. Very knowledgeable and informative. Timing, information and free time is perfect.
- BobJ146800Nuremberg tripGeoff was our tour guide the whole day went according to plan and times. He was very informative and knowledgeable about the day . After the tour had finished he helped us to purchase tickets and advise us how to get to the airport with work restrictions altering the journey. Rob n Ang Well done Geoff top Man
- Duke114000Beautiful city with some ugly history. The Old Town Nuremburg is really a scenic and peaceful place to shop, visit, sit outside and enjoy a beer while watching people and enjoying the architecture. However, not far are the remains of the Nazi parade grounds where Hitler and his Nazi party held rallies attended by thousands of military and civilian spectators. Seeing pictures and films of these makes one think that the grounds are miles wide. They are large but smaller in person. Most of the large ornate decorations , etc are gone. The main remnant is the stepped area with a small platform, railing and podium where Hitler stood and spoke. The huge structure behind him that held the Eagle with swastika was blown up by the allies. There is an strange feeling when in this place. Perhaps the evil has not totally left. While walking the neighborhood we noticed fliers in windows that stated No Nazis in Nuremburg. Our guide stated that there is some resurgence of Nazi beliefs and many are doing all possible to keep those beliefs out.
- teresakJ2933CR00FantasticGreat tour guide Well presented She was very personable She was very knowledgeable Well worth the experience
- amylK4958IJ00Awesome and informativeI never knew the history of Nuremberg and it was really just a day stop for us but this tour turned it into one of our favorite places. Nik was very informative and kept it moving. Now we will need to return to spend more time with the sights.
- timwM3180CG00We’ll worth the walkA great tour for anyone who wants a narrated visual account of the important periods of Nuremberg’s history. Elizabeth is an engaging and thought provoking guide especially when you get to the ‘unfinished project’
- R8898TKcarlak00Go on this tour. Our guide, Scott, was knowledgeable and presented historical information in a way that was understandable and memorable. He would tell a bit, then we'd walk a bit, etc, which kept the pace comfortable. Loved the mix of medieval history and modern/Third Reich history. Also loved the break for lunch in the middle of our tour. I recommend the Nazi party history tour, especially, for everyone.
- tcultivate1300A glimpseIf you are looking for anything more than a brief brush of everything, this tour isn’t for you. Each site we briefly visited, the guide told us of great tours we could take if we were staying in Nuremberg longer. We walked up to a castle….but never entered. We walked up to the rally grounds, we were told how informative the museum was….but never entered the museum. We were told by our guide that “you all know the background of the Nazi movement, so I won’t go into it”. Isn’t that why you take a tour? There were people from all over the world on this tour, maybe not everyone had a solid historical background? I understand that there was a lot of physical ground to cover, but we wasted 90 minutes for a lunch stop. Time management was lacking. Many people traveled from Munich, as a day trip, and the guide had a very fluid time frame. We bought train tickets back to Munich based on the stated duration of the tour and some wiggle room and we were lucky our train was delayed.
- AllyssaJean00All of the highlights!Enjoyed our tour with Natasha! She was great and provided such interesting stories and insight to much of Germany’s history. Tour was complete and allowed for enough time for all of the highlights as well as some solid recommendations from Natasha to visit after the tour. After the tour, we promptly purchased some Elisen Lebkuchen and visited the botanical gardens of the city wall where we also enjoyed the bier garten set up below (all recommendations from Natasha). This tour definitely helped us make the most of our short time in Nuremberg and I would highly recommend it. The only thing we decided we would change was actually wishing we had an extra day in Nuremberg!
- 965celiat00A great guide for a complex subjectScott is a very knowledgeable guide, provides accurate information in a most enjoyable way. He surely knows his history! He expertly led us among a quite crowded Alstadt Nuremberg. It was an unforgettable experience.

I would like a private 3-hour walking tour in the historic center of the old city. Departure from a hotel in the old city. I am a wheelchair and I will be accompanied by a caregiver. I am a writer and have an interest in the history of this region. Do you have this service?
