Highly recommend this tour! Thank you Paul!
This is an excellent walking tour! We were lucky enough to have Paul as our guide and he was awesome! He was so passionate, knowledgable and well-spoken which made the tour amazing. In addition, Paul has a great and clear voice and he goes out of his way to be heard by everyone in the group. No one missed a word. The lunch at Bratwursthausle was phenomenal as well.

    Private tour of Dachau
This was an excellent tour of a very difficult and disturbing memorial sight. Sam was a very good guide and was able to give us a lot of information about the events in Munich/Germany at the time the camp was opened and the historical details about the people who came to the camp, the town, and the Officers involved in camp administration. Sam was very respectful of the site and what occurred here. We learned so much from Sam and this tour. I would highly recommend him guide and this tour! Kim & Mike Burrell

    A city worth exploring
We had a very interesting tour through the Old Town before catching public transport out to the Nazi Rally Grounds to see some of the old Nazi buildings there. Our guide Jason was very friendly, very knowledgeable and all in all a very good guide. My only slight would be that we could have visited more of the Nazi Rally grounds as we only saw about a third of the site.

Loved Nuremberg, but disappointing tour guide
Nuremberg is a fabulous city, but I would not recommend Jason as a tour guide. I have booked many tours (Group and Private) through Viator and TripAdvisor, and have never been disappointed until this tour. Jason was rather unorganized and somewhat arrogant, which was doubly annoying as he had the most unimpressive CV of any tour guide I have ever worked with. He did not appear to have a plan for the tour, and was not particularly engaging. The best tour guides really like people, and have a way of engaging their participants, to learn something about their interests and connect it to the experience. I don't think he liked people and I don't think he really wanted to be there. We saw what we needed to see, and he transmitted interesting facts, but it was not a warm and pleasant experience.

    Would not recommend
Their customer service is the main reason for the low ratings. While I do understand that outside the states, the customer is rarely right, but that doesn’t change our experience. The initial message sent explaining where to meet and how to identify the tour guide, had minimal information so we ended up waiting at the main gate next to the one they were going to meet. The tour guide after we had finally found him far away from where the tour had began mentioned that most people find them easily which means that some don’t but apparently there has been no action taken to make sure that all customers are successful at finding the guide. I called the number provided twice to get help in finding our guide in the individual was not only not helpful, but also sarcastic. he said look for a group of 20 and I said there’s a lot of people here so I don’t think if that’s helpful and he snaps back yes it’s a city of 200,000 or whatever. Was also very confusing was that I had booked them through Empire city tour, so that was the name of the tour I was looking for yet the tour guide a thing around his neck that said radius tours. Apparently, that is another company and they work together which again does not help with identification. The good thing is that there are a lot of tours like this, and we have friends visiting from the states, and I made sure to let them know not to book through this agency. The tour guide himself is pretty knowledgeable especially if you’re into history.

    One Free Day In Nuremberg!
I had one free day to see Nuremberg. This was the perfect answer. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. It's important to have a good guide like this who was so versed in history, etc. He also had a laptop with historical pictures etc. that added to the experience

Two pages from the same book.
Paul was a very well informed guide and provided us with excellent historical background to what we saw. The tour was well paced and the very distinct halves of the tour were tied together nicely with the information provided. Nürnberg is a beautiful city with a rich history, and although some of it is troubling, this tour was a great way to see the whole picture.

    Day trip from Munich
COLD, Windy, and a long walk....but our guide, Natasha was cheerful, pleasant and very informative the whole trip. We went on a sautrday during the xmas markets. I wish we would have gone on any other day as we could not see the markets after the tour. But thats our fault. Natasha knows her stuff, and is willing to answer all questions about the history of Nurembeg. She also suggest restaurants out of the way and generally made out trip worthwhile.

    Great tour
We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Natasha was very well informed and provided a lot of information on Nuremberg. It was a well paced walk up the hill and finished at the market for lunch. We also did the Nazi Documentation Centre tour after this one with Natasha and thoroughly enjoyed that tour too!

Wonderful tour but allow 5 hours, not 4!
Nick was an excellent guide and we thoroughly enjoyed our walk around Nürnberg. What was less enjoyable was finding out that the whole tour actually takes 5 hours, not 4. The hour for lunch was not included in the advertised time. This meant that Nick had to problem solve very quickly for us to make our train connection after the tour. Thanks Nick - you were very helpful!

Five Stars all around despite Train problems
Our tour guide, Nic, was excellent in every way. Great comminication skills made the trip come alive. We had some mediocre weather that he plowed through for us. Our return trip from Nuremberg to Munich was plagued by train trouble involving unexpected cancellations and reroutes, none of it the fault of the tour, of course. But through it all, Nic kept his composure and sense of humor alive while looking after his group. The final reroute put us on the S Bahn out of Dachau. Some of our party did not have independent Local Transportation tickets, so Nic insisted on staying on to our ultimate S Bahn destinations in case a ticket issue came up. Incredibly professional service. Cannot recommend highly enough, especially our Tour Guide.

The guide was quite enthusiastic and knowledgeable about many aspects of the city. However, he was at times coarse and profane. He spent much time talking about beer and wine but reflected contempt for Christian institutions.

Jeff was a good guide.
Would encourage him to use more than a water bottle has his “flag” as there were multiple walking tours in the same area. Maybe even wear a colorful shirt or hat so he would stand out in the crowd.
Good general tour of the old city,

Thank you for your review. All the guides have different methods but Jeff simply holds up his water bottle as he walks so people can follow and find him. As you point out, there are several other tour groups in Nuremberg. If you prefer to avoid the crowds and other tour groups it would be best not to travel during peak season in the middle of July. During peak season it is unavoidable that other groups will be present in the city.

A thorough tour of the old city from Wall to Wall. Guide knowledgeable and had obviously done his homework. Excellent photos to show us WW2 damage and Nazi parades in the 1930s.
Took care of group and made a point of understanding where everyone was from and why

Unfortunately I wasn't able to do this tour today. Going off their website which quotes "NO RESERVATIONS NECESSARY! You can buy your ticket in advance through our website or simply pay cash to the guide on the day of the tour."...I turned up well before 11.15am and was told "No, sorry we are fully booked as you can see it's peak season" Which I was aware of but was just going off your website. So I had a second day walking around the city alone. Please update your website, this was disappointing.

An excellent collection, the castle tells the story of the Germans and their fascination for the Romans, as well as telling the history of German science. Climbing the tower is also a great challenge. When we get there, we can see the whole city. Wonderful!

The tour guide, Jeff, was great! Full of information, kept us on schedule and even took a break out after 2 hours to let us grab a bite to eat of the famous, and yummy, Nuremberg sausage sandwich (cost 3 Euros)...YUMMO!!! There is quite a bit of walking, so wear comfy shoes...and you will be climbing some steep roads towards the castle. The price point is perfect and we got to see so much more of the old town than we ever would have on our own. Add this to your list of things to do if going, you will not be disappointed!

Our Australian tour guide was both knowledgeable and entertaining. We 3 had the toddler in her buggy on the tour and we were made very welcome, even to waiting for us to catch up when we came to some steps and had to take her out of the buggy.and then to put her back in .Would definitely recommend this tour guide.

Hannahlore is a most excellent guide. We learned so much from this tour and every minute of the tour was spell-binding as the history of Nuremberg was brought to life by Hannahlore. We bought out tickets for this tour at the Visitors Center in Nuremberg Old Town. Both Visitors Centers in Nuremberg (the one close to the Train Station) and the one near market place are the perfect places to stop while in Nuremberg.

My wife and I stopped over in Nürnberg en route and only had a short time to get a flavour of the city so we booked onto this 2 hour walking tour. We were met by Charlotte who then guided us through the old town which was absolutely fascinating. She gave us loads of facts and information about the people, buildings, culture and history of Nürnberg. All delivered by the very knowledgable Charlotte in an interesting and sometimes humorous way. So much so we think we will return to the city for a longer stay! We have experienced many guides on our travels around the planet and this lady is in the Premier League of local Tour Guides.
