- Brett W0 contributionsBeer and so much more!My tour guide, Birgit, was wonderful! She incorporated so much German history, culture and personal experiences into this tour. The visuals she brought along were helpful and sparked conversation. We had a small group so I was able to ask many questions along the way. Each of our stops were unique and the beer was, of course, excellent!Written November 16, 2024

- heidibt790 contributionsGrateful for the experienceVisiting a concentration camp was a bucket list item for me. I’m fascinated with WWII history and visiting Dachau was extremely somber, hard, yet I was very happy to have this experience. Our American tour guid, Jake, was incredible. He was very knowledgeable and shared many important historical facts, as well as personal incites being Jewish and having grandparents who survived living in a concentration camp.Written November 13, 2024

- 495walters0 contributionsDachau - trip and tour from MunichA great tour and way to get a more detailed understanding of the forces behind and execution of the concentration camp strategy. Our guide, Stephanie, was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and engaging. All details were was well thought out and well managed. Definitely a very good way to gain a more detailed understanding of this aspect of German history. In addition, Stephanie was more than willing to offer recommendations on other things to do and experience in Munich. Highly recommend!Written November 9, 2024
- darrg20240 contributionsHistorically SignificantIt isn't a day for celebrating or posting funny photos. It IS a day of information, remembrance, tribute and honor. Context is one of the great takeaways from the day and our tour host Mat did an exceptional job framing the experience. My father was an allied bomber pilot during WW2 and it was a view into the past for me. Very worthwhile.Written November 7, 2024
- cplsctn0 contributionsVery challenging but glad we didAmazing tour, considering the delicate subject matter. The detailed information about the many aspects of the camp were delivered with sensitivity, diplomacy and caring. We were emotionally exhausted after the tour, but came out with a much better idea of what really took place during those times. We all think we know what happened, from watching documentaries on TV but being there gives it a totally different perspective.Written November 1, 2024
