Amir was amazing - so knowledgeable about all the facets of our full day trip. He was great company and very easy to be around and talk to. He was very accommodating, wanting only the best experience for us. It was the highlight of our trip to Germany. A must do tour with Amir wherever the destination. Thank you Amir for making our trip so memorable.

Absolutely amazing day. Lucas was a fantastic tour guide. Very pleasant, worked with out group very well, and made this an ever better experience. Neuschwanstein castle is one of the best castles I have seen and definitely worth doing!!

We had a great trip to see Neuschwanstein Castle! Lucas picked us up at our Airbnb right on time and had the proper seats for our kids ready to go. Lucas spoiled the kids with some juice and gummy bears before we set off. They loved that! It was such a comfortable ride from Munich. We got to experience the speed of the Autobahn too. It was a relaxing day even with the kids in tow as Lucas was able to provide commentary as we went along. It’s a hike up to the castle but we went slow with the kids. We stopped for some delicious donuts and gluwein. He got us into the castle and snapped some awesome photos for us. He met us at the end of the tour with our stroller which was nice! After our tour we waited just a short time for a horse carriage to take us down. Then he met us at the bottom with some more treats before heading off to lunch in Obermagau. The lunch spot was delicious. We couldn’t do any shopping since it was Sunday and everything was closed but we did have a nice stop in an ice cream shop before meeting up again. Our last stop was Ettal and the kids loved stomping around in the snow. We enjoyed the inside of the Abbey for a short visit before heading back to Munich with drop off right at our Airbnb. We had a great day and feel like we got to see a lot!

Fantastic tour! Lucas was a terrific guide. Adapted to our schedule, took photos and made sure we experienced the balloon festival. Highly recommend Lucas! Thank you for the family memories that we will cherish forever!

The guide was very kind and on time. He made every effort to meet our needs. However he was more of a driver than a guide. We did not give us information on the three places we visited. The first place the castle was closed. The second place was a small town. It was cute , but not much there except for some restaurants. The third stop Rothenburg, was really nice. It had a lot of activities with a lot of stores open. Overall the trip was fun. Given the price of the trip we were expecting more.

Amir is an absolutely wonderful guide and an even better human being. He was knowledgable beyond expectation and took great care of us. Highly recommended!!

We had a terrific time viewing the castle and learning the story of Ludwig II with Amir. Our time in Füssen was short, the tour accommodated us perfectly: pick up from our hotel, quicker trip than most up the mountain (Amir has lots of friends), fast track lines and promptly back to town at the end. The castle is spectacular but the passionate retelling of the history by Amir and how that ties to the local people vastly amplified our experience. The Special Private Tours promise was spot on, we came as tourist and left as friends.

Amazing experience. A must do if you are spending time in Munich. We loved it. Wish we could do it again. Excellent guide as well.

I ended up booking the Bus/Castle/Carriage tour because I was too late to book a single Ticket on the Castle website What a happy surprise! our guide, Steve, was full of knowledge about, not only the castle, but the rich history of the family & area. This trip was amazing! Our driver Lucas was excellent. He took great care of us, was very personable and made sure all of our wants and needs were met above our expectations! I would highly recommend this tour, we did book the private tour because we don’t like the “full van or bus atmosphere”. Lucas was extremely informative the entire trip, and gave us a bunch of tips for the rest of our trip!

Our family including 2 college age children were thoroughly impressed with our private guided tour of Neuschwanstein and Howencchwangau. Our guide Stephen Wendell was so easy to work with, gave us such interesting history and tales that made the fairy tale experience even more idyllic. I highly recommend seeing the Neuschwanstein castle first and finishing with Howencchwangau. We had a nice break between, allowing us time for souvenirs and light lunch. He was very prepared, including providing umbrellas for the rain and snow. He took care to point out the landscape, context of the time period, corrected myths or twists of the stories about King Ludwig. Overall it was a highlight of our trip!

David was an excellent host. He was laid back, knowledgeable, and engaging. He shared a wealth of information, not only on the tour specifically, but on various locations in between stops. Our family had a fantastic day with memories for a lifetime! Thanks, David!
