Since it was the 80th anniversary of D-Day this year I wanted to do a World War I & II tour this year to honor the sacrifices of the men and women who fought to give us the great life we enjoy today. We started in the Netherlands and went through Belgium, Luxembourg and France. I wanted to include some of the Canadian sites and worked on customizing my tour with Steve again. We saw Vimy Ridge, Passchendaele, Dunkirk and Juno Beach to name a few of the many. We went to all the D-Day beaches and Steve included some sites I was unaware of like the Blockhaus d'Éperlecques, used for the V1 & V2 rockets. The museums like Bastogne, Caen, Lens 14-18 & Juno Beach to name a few. They were so filled with history and amazing photos and information. We managed to include some castles and cathedrals as well, such as the Mont St. Michele Abbey & Vianden Castle. My only regret would be that I did not spend longer than 19 days. I could have spent over a month visiting these sites and still wanted to stay longer. I want to thank Steve for arranging everything on this tour and making this memorable experience even better. I think everyone should plan a tour to visit these sites and honor the sacrifice of so many, soon there will be no more WWII veterans left so we should honor them while we can.Written September 1, 2024

He spent two weeks showing us the Normandy landing beaches, the medieval city of Bruges, Versailles, and uncounted museums. The food and wine was delicious and we managed to stop for a few beers too.Written May 12, 2023

Steven and Wright Europe made sure that this trip was one for the record books. Originally scheduled for March 2020 and canceled many times due to COVID restrictions, Steven always was gracious and flexible in our rescheduling. Finally, in March 2022, we were able to go. From the time we landed in Munich until the time we left Steven was always available for us and whatever we needed. By the end of our trip he felt less like a guide and more like a friend. If you want to see the auto factories or castles in Germany, Austria, Italy, etc. I don't believe you will find a better host than Steven. He is a first class individual and is excellent at what he does. Thank you Steven!

If you are thinking of booking one of Steve Wright's European tours, do not hesitate. My husband and I wanted to gift our grandson a trip to Germany to tour the car factories. After living in Germany for many years, we were unsure that a formal tour was the path we wanted to take but we are so happy that we did. Not only did Steve book all of the factory tours and accompanying museums for us but chose car-themed hotels and found wonderful restaurants as well. In addition we were also able to visit castles, breweries, take a Munich city tour and fit in a day in the Bavarian/Austrian alps. Steve has a comprehensive knowledge of the areas where the factories are located and was willing to honor special requests as well. We were able to shop at a special toy store in the Munich suburbs, visit a German grocery store for our daghter who accompanied us and fulfill a bucket list item to visit the Weihenstephan Brewery. It was the utmost in luxury to be driven everywhere in a private Mercedes van. This trip more than exceeded our expectations and provided us with memories for a lifetime.

Wright Europe did a great job of showing us the best of what a German Car Enthusiast would want. My son, Lucas and I, toured the most interesting factories and museums, stayed at the most fantastic hotels, ate at great restaurants, and had an engaging time with Steve. Very accommodating to our needs and willing to be as adventurous as we wanted. Steve was great help even before touring, aiding with planes, trains and automobiles. I can't say enough of how comfortable he was with our surroundings, giving us the confidence and comfort we needed to have a fun-filled yet relaxing time. Scott Angove

I can’t say enough about wrighteurope and Steven Wright. The tour is everything a car guy could ask for. Steven is knowledgeable, organized, prompt, accommodating , considerate and engaging. This was our grandsons high school graduation trip with us. He’s a real car guy and Steven related well to him and made it a life changing trip. We started as clients and finished as lifelong friends of Steven Wright!

I was part of a private tour with Steven to see WWII battlefields, cathedrals, castles, and breweries in Belgium, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. The trip exceeded my expectations ! The hotels, restaurants, museums, and venues were excellent and always reserved in advance so that there was never any waiting in line. He is very detailed and knowledgeable, well organized, hard working, patient, and quite likable. Thank you for all of your efforts Steven !

Want to say that I had a great time on my trip. I was glad that you could adapt to seeing some of the castles that I wanted to see that were not on your list. Herrenchiemsee had amazing fountains, Linderhof was a wonderful little palace and you will have to let me know when they finally finish redoing the Grotto as I would love to see that. Burg Eltz was in a wonderful setting tucked into a little valley and the walk there was enjoyable. Lichtenstein castle is a wonderful little treat in a quiet little town. The tours of the castles were great and Colditz was quite educational and we were very fortunate to be in some small groups. Glad we had time to spend at Wewelsburg as all the information on the SS was very eye opening in the museum there. One of the funny comments I heard at breakfast from another group was, "I didn't know there would be so many stairs." Castles have stairs not elevators and sometimes they are on the top of high hills or mountains so be prepared. Your daily totals on our steps and floors was something I will also remember as we covered a lot of ground and elevation changes. Dinners were great and having a beer in a small bar in Dresden by the river was so relaxing. Was very grateful that you tried to find extra things to do on the days we finished early and appreciate all you did to make this a very memorable holiday. Already looking forward to planning another custom tour to see more interesting and inspiring sites. Thank you Steven for a very memorable trip and hope to travel with you again soon.

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Germany, Austria and Switzerland with Wright Europe Tours. Steven was so accommodating and patient, even with last minute, unforeseen issues. The Hotels were beautiful, restaurants were great! I experienced things I never thought I would in my lifetime, like going up the side of the Alps in a cable car! Just amazing!! I wouldn’t hesitate for one minute to use Steven and Wright Europe Tours in the future. By the end of the trip we weren’t just clients, but friends! Thank you Steven.

Steven Wright organized and led an amazing auto themed tour for my grandson and me. Steven was our chauffer, concierge and constant companion. He attended to every detail from a guided walking tour of Munich, auto-themed hotels in a unique automotive experience venue (Motor World), tickets and reservations for factory and museum tours and reservations at wonderful restaurants that only a local resident would know. Steve is kind, patient, thoughtful, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, prompt and organized. Steven provided a detailed, and I mean detailed, itinerary months before we departed. If you are interested in an immersive German auto experience, Wright Escorted Auto Tours are the REAL deal! Steven Wright is the REAL deal!

Steve’s tour was perfect for my car-loving son and me! Booking the tour was very easy, and Steve kept us updated with detailed plans even before we arrived. Having just a small travel group was fantastic, and everything was very well planned. Steve was a wonderful knowledgeable tour guide, and we got to see and experience way more than we would have had we traveled on our own. We definitely would (and hope to!) book a tour with Steve again in the future.

We had a great experience touring Nurburing, five auto assembly plants & their museums, Hohenschwangau Castle, and ended with Oktoberfest. What a blast!! The hotels and food were first rate and the pace of the trip made for a wonderful experience. And, the Steve Wright is an outstanding guide along with being in-tune with the group's wishes. I absolutely recommend this tour to all.
