I don't generally right reviews, but our guide, Canaan A. was such a good guide that I felt the need to do so. My girlfriend was not excited about a 4 hour bike tour, but by the end she couldn't believe it was over. Canaan did a great job keeping us safe and getting us to some great spots in the city. He had a book with photos that helped us better understand things, spoke loudly and was funny too. He had great recommendations during the ride and afterwards. He avoided some of the easy stuff (marianplatz) as that is easy to find, but still got us to important places. He was great. And if his father is reading this, call your son...at least that is what I thought I heard him say at the end! Next time over I will do a different one of their tours (oktoberfest walking maybe???)

This tour was recommended by a friend who did it last year. It was more impressive than she let on and I'm so glad I took her advice. Karl is a great tour guide. The city is rich is history and Karl was there to answer any and all questions no matter how hard. I loved the added Hitler history and an understanding of how the war has affected Germans and their culture ever since. Great tour, the bikes were great and the track not hard to manage. The Germans are so polite to bike riders it made for a pleasant ride.

Canaan was an excellent tour guide. He is very knowledgeable of the Munich area as well as the associated history. We especially appreciated that he shared his personal opinions for the various museums to help us better understand where to spend our limited time. We saw most of the key sights during our ~4 hour tour. Definitely recommend this tour!

We enjoyed this bike tour immensely. Although the tour was 4 hours it was not at all strenuous as it was flat all along and Munich has the best bicycle lanes and we had lots of stops along the way. Our American guide, who had taught history in German schools, was extremely knowledgeable and well-informed about the history of Germany. He presented the information in a way that made it truly interesting and engaging. This tour is the best way to discover the city at the start of a trip as you can get a good feel of the different areas of Munich which you can always go back to at a later stage.

Our bike tour with Canene was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. I especially appreciated how he tied in the history of Munich and the sites. He also gave good suggestions on other sights to see during our visit. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone seeing Munich. The bikes were very comfortable too.

Rob was an excellent guide overall we loved this tour. Some in our group were nervous about riding as they have not been on one before. Rob had them expert riders by the first stop. The tour itself was great and worth every penny. I have taken other Munich and Segway tours and this was by far the best. He was able tontaylor the tour to specific interests in our group.

The tour was very interesting. We saw many notable places & the cycling was easy. Rob, our guide, was very informative & equally amusing.

An incredible tour with an excellent guide! The 3.5 hour length of the tour went by quickly. The segways were fun and easy to learn to use. They made a tour of the city much more feasible than walking would. Our tour guide was passionate about Munich and its history. We were taken into the world of medieval Munich when it was a trading crossroads famous for its beer. We were also painted a challenging, but also hopeful picture of Munich's WWII history and its efforts to turn to a brighter future. I can't recommend this tour enough, despite its price, best activity of our European vacation!

Highly recommend this tour which will give you a great feel for the city; especially the stop in the beer garden for lunch! Can't praise highly enough our guide Susanna. She also did a great job in managing a group of 16 cyclists and at the same time remembering each person's name!

Great way to see Munich . Susanna was a fantastic guide for us and our family. Third Fat Tire Tour in a European city we have done and it didn’t disappoint. Munich and Bavarian History well described and at times very delicately handled as it is not always easy with WW2 issues . Beer garden and refreshments were perfect and the stops were fun … surfing in Munich - who knew 😎👏👏A great tour 👍

We booked a private tour with Fat Tire Tours for the day after we arrived in Munich. This is our third time with Fat Tire (once in DC and once in Paris), and we couldn't recommend them more highly. The tour guides are well-versed in the area and the history, and they are flexible and great to work with. We really enjoyed getting to know Munich during the time with our guide Rob - he was a wealth of knowledge and wonderful! He did a great job connecting with both our daughters (ages 16 and 11) and keeping them interested in and engaged in the history of the city while also keeping us safe. Munich is a beautiful city and is so lovely to cycle through - thank you, Fat Tire Tours, for once again showing us so much of the city! Rob was also wonderful about grabbing photos of our family for us throughout the tour!

What a great few fun hours. Mark our tour guide was very attentive and supportive, making sure we we all confident and safe on our Segways before we took to the road. The tour itself was extremely interesting and took in all the key sites Munich has to offer.

Great guide with Susanne who gave us a lot of information and history at the different stops along the way. Felt we covered a lot in the time.

Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, who came around a lot of relevant perspectives on the culture, history and architecture of Munich. And a very thorough introduction to driving segways. His love to the city and area made us conclude that we have booked way too little time here and we need to come back.
