Andy, our driver, picked us up at our hotel in a Mercedes Benz van and we had a pleasant day touring Hallstatt and Salzburg. We enjoyed the conversation and Andy was very accommodating with our schedule as we changed some things on the fly, such as stopping at the RB Salzburg Football Stadium for my sons to see and buy a souvenir. It was also nice that Andy stopped at various slots on our journey for picture taking opportunities and knowledge transfer. A first class day.

Phillip took us on a tour of Hallstadt and Salzburg on one day, then the Alps on the next day. His attention to our personalized needs was excellent. The car was very comfortable and his driving was fast yet very comfortable.
I would not hesitate to hire them for a private tour. The communication upfront was very, very good.

Planning a one day trip from Munich to Hallstatt, we are a family of 2 adults plus our twin 13 years old daughters. We will be in Munich from December 27th (arrival date) departing January 1st.
Would be interested to know if this is doable and how much would it cost?

I agree, but plan on an all day trip. Leaving at 7am allows you to get out of town before any real traffic starts.
There are several options for a stop in between Munich and Hallstadt on the way or on the way back. We did Hallstadt first then Salzburg on the way back to see Mozart's home.
