      Somber experience with thoughtfulness
We would like to thank Adam our tour guide for an exceptional day. Even though Dachau was a very sombre experience Adam managed to make it quite informative and really gave us a detailed account of what happened there. We were also left to contemplate our experience privately which I thought was very thoughtful. We were picked up from our hotel and escorted to the Camp. On our way back via public transport, Adam gave us some wonderful options for dining. Highly recommend the experience and we thank Adam again.

      Reflection and Moving
Spent an informative and very interesting 1/2 day tour with Adam learning more about Dachau Concentration Camp. While we could have toured at our own leisure reading displayed information from a display, I do not feel we would have left with a moving experience compared to that of a private tour. Adam was able to bring to life the personal experiences of this tragic period and brought about a deeper self reflection and awareness about those that remained silent, apathetic, and indifferent to the oppression of others. I highly recommend Adam for this personal tour while in Munich!

      Must do from Munich
Scott was an amazing, knowledgeable guide. It is such an important place with such a significant impact on our world history. You can go to the site solo, but it’s an incredible experience to take this trip with a guide.

Private Tour of Dachau with Adam
Although I’d visited Dachau twice before, I felt it was important my friend also go while we were in Munich. Adam was very accommodating to ensure we made it back to Munich for another tour we had scheduled. Adam taught me so much more than I had known before about the memorial site. He was very patient with us and all our questions about both Dachau and living in Germany. Highly recommended taking a private tour with Adam! I also feel strongly that everyone should visit a concentration camp.

      A great value..
As we passed by other groups of 20 or 30, struggling to listen to their guide, my wife and I were so pleased that we chose the private tour with Marcin, who was a superior educator. The tour was incredible. Extensive, fascinating, enlightening and sobering. I’m glad we did it, and highly recommend Marcin as your guide and resource.

      A Must-Do Tour in Munich
If visiting Munich, visting Dachau is an important tour everyone should experience. There's a lot of history, and it's worth having a guide versus on-your-own. We were in a group of 20, and Scott was very knowledgeable. He has dedicated his professional life to educating people about the holocaust and what happened at Dachau. The tour coordinated the transportation which was helpful too. I would highly recommend attending. Side note: Wear good walking shoes and sun screen.

      Informative history tour
Excellent tour with a tour guide that had all sorts of information to share with us. Easy to follow instructions as to where to meet group, then very clear instructions from tour guide as to travel arrangements to Dachau. Guide was happy to answer questions and provide us with a very full and informative tour. Would definitely recommend

      Dachau Private Tour
Our family of four had a Dachau private tour with Scott and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide and tour! Scott was a wealth of knowledge and provided us a seamless tour despite the cold and rain. I would highly recommend this tour and believe it is also a great value compared to others I looked at.

      Amazing guide for Dachau!
Aileen was awesome! So knowledgeable and took the time to answer any questions. Also, she handled all of the travel details which took away all of the guesswork about which train or bus to take. Highly recommend!

Expertly guided walk and talk through the city and centuries of Germany’s grand old city.
Wonderful three hour walking tour to the major historical points of interest in the city center, including Marienplatz, Glockenspiel, Hofbräuhaus, Frauenkirche and many spots you’d overlook without a guide. Our tour guide Jo was awesome and incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and entertaining as we walked through the alleys and side streets of Munich. A joy!

While it is possible to visit Dachau on your own without a tour guide, we would highly recommend visiting the camp on a guided tour. The tour was outstanding and Marcin’s knowledge of the Dachau camp and this period in Germany’s history was incredible. We both learned a lot that we would have missed out on without InMunich Tours and Marcin.
We would highly recommend this tour to any travellers visiting Munich for a few days.

Adam was a really friendly and informative guide, who made this tour a great experience given the nature of the topic. Dachau has a lot of history and is an emotional experience that allows you to walk in the footsteps of the fallen Jews during the time of WW2.

I really recommend anyone to partake in this tour to truly understand the sad and horrendous experiences inflicted and why it's important to remember.

The group itself was pretty small, which made for a more intimate and friendly experience and we felt like friends travelling together.

My mum and I recently experienced the full day Dachau tour from Munich with our tour guide, Marcin. It was a small group which we really liked as it was a more personal experience. We are both glad that we booked with inmunichtours as Marcin really made the experience for us. He was so knowledgeable and interesting and was able to make us understand what Dachau was like for the souls who both perished and survived there. We would definetely recommend booking a tour with inmunichtours as you will miss out on so much just relying on an audio guide. Thank you Marcin for a great tour and if I ever return to Munich in future I will be sure to book with you again.

Dear LaurasLife_1234, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review of your experience at Dachau. I know for a fact that since moving to Munich, Marcin has devoted much of his time to learning more about this period and it's history. To read reviews like this Marcin knows the additional research and the hours spent visiting other memorial sites around Europe is visible during his tour. Marcin will be extremely proud to read your positive review of his tour. We hope to see you again sometime in the future.

Great tour, lots of facts and information.
After meeting the group we all travelled together. The tour price includes the underground and bus ticket to the site which you could do yourself but it is much easier to do this.
The tour guide was interesting and took us to the best places and told us stories from some of the survivors he has met.
Be warned it is a very long tour with lots and lots of walking, wear good shoes
There is also nowhere to eat or drink at the museum so make sure you do so beforehand. Toilet stops are limited but the guide let's you know this in advance.
Not surprisingly it is a fascinating but very heavy tour due to the subject.

our time at dachua was extremely educational and informative. our tour guide sam did an outstanding job of explaining the history, he was extremely knowledgeable about dachua and munich. he gave informative details to help the entire group understand but took time to clarify and answer any and all questions we had.

we highly recommend this tour to any one interested and thank sam for his professionalism and kindness. spending the money on a tour is definitely worth it to help understand the site in its entirety.

I can not recommend this tour enough, it was so interesting and have never learnt so much on a tour. Our tour guide Marcin was incredible, he was so knowledgeable not only about the camp but about history from all over which really made the experience extra enjoyable and fascinating. I Have never known a tour guide be so confident and know so much not just about the tour but about lo of the surrounding history. He was extremely engaging and answered all of our questions. If you are travelling to Munich you need to book this tour you will not be disappointed and you will be surprised how much you learn about the city.

Our tour guide was fantastic in making sure we had an informative tour despite the train delays. Highly recommend going with this tour as the museum and camp can be overwhelming with lots of information. It was great to have such a knowledgeable guide to explain the history and significance of important sites at the camp that we otherwise would not have been aware of!

Fantastic tour. Our tour guide Marcin, was very knowledgeable and has visited many camps and spoke to many survivors that allowed you to get a different perspective, that you wouldn’t get just from reading the prompts in the museum. He was very approachable and answered any questions when we had them. He also had a binder that had photos that weren’t in the museum to get a better understanding. My husband and I were engaged the whole 4 and a half hours and would recommend this tour to all our friends and family.

Excellent tour, Marcin was a great guide and knew so much information not just about Dachau but about other camps, and the wider area of Munich, and how they interconnected. Really interesting day with so much more information than is given in the museum. The additional photos really helped to illustrate what the camp was like. Understandably food is not allowed to be eaten on site so there is no lunch break, make sure you have a big breakfast. This was the 2nd last tour being run this year and we are lucky to have been able to visit and grateful to Marcin for being such a passionate guide.

An excellent informative tour. Our guide was Hein who ran the tour brilliantly. He gathered the group together at Marianplatz and took us to the Dachau camp and back via train and bus with no difficulties at all. All of the time he was attentive to the needs of the 6 people in our group and he answered all of the questions that were asked him easily. He obviously has a huge knowledge of the history surrounding the camp and he was able to convey a clear understanding of the enormity of the atrocities to us without preaching. We were walked through the history of the camp from its creation to its liberation as we were shown around. We knew what we were likely to see but still couldn't help walking away shocked. A final mention for Hein... Thank you for the tremendous help and advice you gave us for planning the remainder of our trip to Munich.
