What to Expect
Begin your tour with a train or bus ride from Munich through the German countryside to Fussen. Note that the train is seasonal, offered during January through April and mid-October through November, otherwise you travel by coach. When you arrive, walk up the hill to the castle or opt for a carriage ride.
The price of the tour doesn’t include your castle entrance fee, but you can pay it directly to the tour company on the day of your visit. And by booking in advance, you receive skip-the-line access.
Visit the castle interiors and towers, and get the photo ops and views of surrounding attractions including a lake, waterfall gorge, and Hohenschwangau Castle. Listen while your guide tells stories about the tragic reign of the “mad” 19th-century Bavarian king who commissioned the building of the castle.
Finish the day with a return ride back to Munich.

Ara, thank you so much for you review and it is great to hear that you had an amazing time with our guide Charlie at the Castle of Neuschwanstein! Surely it is not easy travelling with a 14 month old, but glad that Charlie made it happen. Which 14 months old can say they already been to the "real" Disney castle? :)
