What a wonderful day spent discovering Beaujolais, its wines, and beautiful landscapes. We visited several wineries, tasted a variety of delicious wines, had a lovely lunch and discovered the beautiful medieval village of Perouges. Olivier is a wonderful guide who is so knowledgeable about wines, the history of the region and so much more. We had a terrific time and would highly recommend this trip, especially if you are visiting Lyon..

Wonderful day long tour. Cannot say enough about our extremely knowledgeable, professional and delightful tour guide, Olivier. We visited multiple wineries, had a delicious lunch and visited the medieval town of Perouges. We would highly recommend this tour.

We did the half day tour of Côtes du Rhône. It was the best wine tour we have been on, as Olivier shared his expertise in a nice way, but did not overwhelm us with information. It was a great balance. And we appreciated his careful driving. We will definitely plan another trip with Olivier in the future.

This was an awesome day - the gorgeous villages visited, the lovely wine tastings, gorgeous scenery and also the great explanations and very lovely manner of Oliver. Oliver is very professional and full of local knowledge and also very patient and thoughtful! He is one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had - he is down to earth and great to talk to. He made sure we could visit toilette’s everywhere which was great! The restaurant for lunch was a lovely experience and very delicious! Great tasting and also very reasonably priced. The other guests were great company and it was an all round lovely day!! (and of course Beaujolais wine is delicious!!) Highly recommended!!

excellent tour, nice van to drive in and great company to share with the owner/tour operator, Olivier Delalande .He spoke french, english and spanish, the last language was a plus for us being from Mexico. He took us to a Beaujolais Domaine and arranged a niece place to eat even though it was a holiday when everything was closed , the last town of the visit was Perouges a place you don't want to miss .I highly recommend it

We did the full day private northern Rhone tour with Olivier yesterday and it was incredible!!!! Olivier was personable, accommodating and really engaging! He took us to three different wineries and helped us learn/taste different Syrah/viognier/marsann wines. Along the way, we stopped to take in the Rhone Hills, got to walk to the chapel on the hermitage hill and had a really beautiful lunch in Tain-Hermitage. A great and unforgettable day out, will be recommending the company and Olivier to friends for a long time to come! Don't hesitate to book in a tour with Kanpai/Olivier!

Brilliant! We learned so much about wine, the food and the region of Northern Rhone. Our guide Sebastien was super friendly and knowledgeable. A relaxed atmosphere for a small group and some lovely wine discoveries. Definitely recommend.

The wines were amazing! Olivier was a maxing and knowledgeable. Furthermore, he was incredibly prompt and accommodating in our last minute requests.

We (a group of 6 friends) went for Oliver's wine tour to Northern Rhone in March 2024. We had a lovely time thanks to Oliver! From start to end, Oliver was extremely responsive, helpful and gave us lots of insights into the various wines. As we were tourists, he even helped linked us up with his taxi contacts which was extremely helpful for us from a logistics point of view. The wines he chose were lovely and we definitely wish we had more time to go on more wine tours with him! Would definitely recommend this to friends and family who are in the region next time.

Tonight, as we opened a bottle of Chateau De Poncie, we reflected upon our trip to Lyon last September and the wonderful experiences and sights that Olivier delivered. Never have we had a guide who was as knowledgeable and had such varied contacts, all of which were superior. In our four days with Olivier, we visited a boulangerie, several outstanding and award winning wineries, a farm with homemade charcuterie, and a chocolate maker. We spent time in Pérouges and, with his instinct, early in the morning before the crowds. Olivier showed us the sights in Lyon, and gave us tips on where to eat and other attractions. Olivier was always cheerful and on time. He is an excellent photographer and knows the best spots to take a picture. We hope one day to return to Lyon and spend more time touring with Olivier.

Even in the middle of winter it was great to visit the vineyards and of course sample the produce! A lovely tour with a friendly guide. Olivier was informative and fun. Also only six of us, which suited me and my partner very well.

Kanpai Tours provided a phenomenal experience. I am a professor (from the US) who was organizing a group of 20 college students, focusing on artisanal goods in France. Olivier, our tour guide, designed the perfect experience for us, tailored to our interests. We visited a bakery where the baker opened just for us, making baguettes for our lunch as we watched, telling us about his profession. From there, we visited a goat farm where they make goat cheese and we learned about the process. We continued on to a winery where we tried several wines and had a fantastic picnic lunch. (I can't rave enough about the lunch - Olivier purchased a generous array of foods for us to try from the baker we had visited, including a delicious galette des rois - and it was so kind of the winery owner to let us dine in his "cuvage." After that, we visited the medieval village of Oignt where Olivier gave us a tour. The entire day was planned from 8 am until 4:30 pm. Olivier made all of the arrangements, including a coach bus, and created a lasting memory for us. I have been to France many times but what Olivier gave us was access to experiences I had never had. Very much worth the (very reasonable) price. We can't praise him enough and hope to work again with him on our next trip.

Four of us took an afternoon private tour with Oliver. We went to Perouges and some of the surrounding area. Perouges, with the uneven cobblestone streets was a challenge to me due to walking difficulties. Oliver was helpful and didn’t mind my being slow. He’s a good communicator and a pleasure to be with. We would highly recommend him. Perouges is absolutely beautiful!
