Great for a half day excursion.
It was easy to find the tour. The van was comfortable. The drive was scenic. The guide provided interesting comments on the tour.

Good mix between sight seeing and wine tasting
Very nice tour to a beautiful part of the Beaujolais region. Good mix between sight seeing and wine tasting. I wouldn’t liked a bit more focus on the wine, wine making process etc; but still very enjoyable.

      Perfect day and lovely wines!!
Clem was an excellent tour guide and drove us from Place Bellecour to a picturesque overlook where we tasted Beaujolais wines and enjoyed pastries, enjoying views of the surrounding countryside. We then toured the lovely medieval village of Oingt. We truly enjoyed our visit to Domaine de Fond-Ville where we toured the vineyard, the winemaking area, and learned about the history behind the wine. Clem translated Dominic’s French very well into English for our tour group. We enjoyed local sausage and cheeses and loved each of the wines we tasted. We had beautiful weather during our Beaujolais tour and purchased wine to take back home. This was the perfect experience to celebrate my birthday! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Note: This was far superior to our wine tour of the Cote du Rhône the previous day, so if you’re trying to decide between the two tours, I’d recommend this one!!

Great tour for wine and vistas of countryside.
Rachel was a pleasant and knowledgeable guide. Comfortable van. Well organized. Beautiful scenery. It was nice to break it up a little with free time to roam in village. Was exactly as described online. It was a highlight. Would highly recommend.

A lovely trip to the Beaujolais
A lovely trip to the Beaujolais. We got to see lots of the beautiful towns in the area. Drink some good wine. Walk around the winery. And the guides were great.

      Beautiful Scenery and New Friends
We had the most amazing day with a fabulous group of people and our guide Yann. Yan was outstanding. He provided wonderful commentary throughout our time in Pérouges and our trip through the Beaujolais region. The minivan was very comfortable and Yan was an excellent driver. Pérouges is a must visit and the gallette was delicious. We all shared a wonderful lunch between visiting Pérouges and the incredible Chateau de La Chaize. Highly recommend this great day trip from Lyon.

Good tour, beautiful area and the wine at our first stop was great
The first winery was excellent. The winemaker was very good at explaining the wines and the process. The second winery not so much. Seemed to be in a hurry to get us out and did a less than great job of describing the wines.

Great wine and tour in beautiful Beaujolais with the excellent guide Clemence
Thoroughly loved the tour. Easy-paced, loved the wine-tasting and the setting by the vineyards in the Beaujolais valley, the visit to the beautiful village of Oingt and the visit and tasting in the winery Domaine de Fond-Vieille . Our guide Clemence was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, answering all of everyone's questions in detail and in understandable language. We cannot praise her enough for her skills as a communicator, guide and wine expert. And an excellent driver also.

A gorgeous way to spend the day in Beaujolais!
Outstanding day trip into the Beaujolais region outside of Lyon. Gorgeous scenery, tasty wines, and an excellent guide. Our guide, Rachel, had led us on a private tour of Lyon the previous day and we were thrilled to see her again for the next tour! She is warm, knowledgeable, approachable, and communicative. I highly recommend this tour!

      Book This Tour!
Booked this tour based on its great reviews and am so glad we did. It was a wonderful experience. It was fun, and we learned so much about the Beaujolais wine region. The countryside is breathtaking, and the tour/tasting stop at the idyllic, small winery was perfect. I could not have conceived of a better afternoon outing. I highly recommend this tour.

Great trip out of the city!
Outside of tasting some locally grown wine we were able to see some of the surrounding towns of Lyon and learn a few things about the French perspective of wine. Would highly recommend.

9 people Cramped in a Car and Poor Wine !
We booked the “Tasty Lyon” Beaujolais wine tasting tour with the Viator tour company. We drove almost an hour to the first winery cramped in a car with 9 people shoulder to shoulder.  Once we got to the winery, we did the tour on our own. We were told us to go downstairs and we could take a wine “test” to learn about the wines. It was cumbersome so we went upstairs and did the do it yourself wine dispenser tastings. We liked only one or two of the Beaujolais wines. We could have gone to this winery on our own and did not need the tour guide. The best part of the winery was the beautiful gardens. Next we went to a smaller winery and sat around a table and tasted several wines and all of them were not good.  The tour guide was new to the wine tasting tour and spoke to a few people but not much to the group. This was a very disappointing tour and would not recommend it.

Fantastic experience - go there hungry!
A brilliant tour, complete with private tastings throughout and a brilliant guide. Walked through the aisles, tasted treats galore, heard numerous insightful stories and pieces of information which made for a terrific time.

      Exploring L'Ermitage
We did a private tour of the Hermitage/Emeritage wine region with Francois. As we hiked up the Emitage hill, Francois provided a wealth of information about the history of the region and wine making. Gorgeous views of the Rhone River were part of this, as well as a visit to a chocolate factory, and a vineyard and wine store for a tasting. Francois joined us for lunch at a delightful restaurant he recommended, with fresh salads, a glass of wine and fun conversation. He was very accommodating to our needs and wishes for the tour. I would highly recommend both Francois and Tasty Lyon.

      Great experience
Took this tour with a small group of five friends in August 2024. François was our very friendly and knowledgable guide and driver for the four hours plus. First stop after getting picked up at the hotel was E.Guigal's Le Caveau du Château in Ampuis /Côte Rôtie after getting a quick introduction to the wines of North Rhône on our way there wegot to taste four wines from E.Guigal and Vidal-Fleury (owned by Guigal) from across the North-Rhône region. The regular smaller winery that is used for this trip was not available for a visit on the day of our trip, but we had a very good replacement with a visit to Pierre Gaillard in Saint-Joseph. Here we also had some time to see the facilities and learn more about the production. Had six very good North-Rhöne wines and the ability to compare to the one previously tested at Guigal. Highly recommend the trip if you are in Lyon and have an interest in wines from the Rhône valley and some of the most prestigious appellations in the world; Côte Rôtie and Hermitage.
