About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Camper5288700 contributionsGo with ‘Expert Travel’!!!Today I was finally able to take a tour that had been canceled twice, and Marie from ‘Expert Travel’, made it happen. The driver and guide Martina was excellent! She picked me up at agreed-upon location and was very nice and professional. She drove safely and provided very interesting information on all the locations. There was enough time at each location for wandering the streets and plenty of time for photo ops. Martina was inclusive of everyone's requests and very sensitive to the needs of everyone. I had such a good time with the other ladies on the trip. Martina’s knowledge of every location was impressive and she is informed with both history and modern information. Martina was excellent in every way. My experience with the Director of Expert Travel, Marie, provided me with a corrective experience after having had a negative experience with other travel guides. Thank you, Marie and Martina. I highly recommend Expert Travel.Written October 6, 2024

- 9jenetteb0 contributionsAwfulThe experience was awful. The tour guide hardly talked at all and gave very little history. Would no recommend to anyoneWritten May 3, 2023
- JaredNorCal0 contributionsAs expectedThis was what I was looking for, quick stop at some spots to maximize my time. I didn’t enjoy the Big Port’s little town. But that’s just my opinion. Start to finish was executed perfectly. Great guideWritten August 30, 2019
- Lucy N0 contributionsPerfection!I could not recommend this more! It was a fun group, with a witty tour guide. We saw all the things we wanted to see in a short time.. just amazing! Thanks!Written June 6, 2019
- Ida F0 contributionsBeautiful trip with knowledgable guideWe booked this tour thinking we would get more time in both Cannes and St. Paul de Vence since this tour says nothing about including Antibes on the trip. To our surprise Antibes was included on the trip, and spending time at the Picasso museum and strolling around the old town, we were glad it was included. The order of what cities to visit is reversed, the guide took us first to Cannes, then Antibes and lastly St. Paul. We felt like the trip was rushed, but that the guide prioritized correctly considering which places are the most beautiful. The guide had a lot of information and gladly answered questions. Would definitely recommend.Written June 23, 2018
- Louis K0 contributionsGood - but could have been betterNote that our tour was run Sunny Days Sightseeing tours and obtained through Viator and happened on May 15, 2018. There were five of us in the van plus a driver. My wife and I are native English speakers. The other three riders were Spanish speakers. The guide spoke multiple languages including Spanish and English. As we were picking up last, my wife and I rode in the very back of the van. The Spanish speaking gentleman rode in the front seat and what I assumed were his wife and daughter rode in the middle row. For the first half hour the guide explained everything in both English and Spanish. After that he spoke almost exclusively to the Spanish speaking gentleman in the front seat. I interrupted and asked a few questions that were answered but little information was offered. I made my objections known to the driver when the trip ended and he dismissed them. However the other aspects of the tour were very good. We got to see small local places that the big busses could not reach. I think an extra stop was worked in as well to show off Villaruis and Picasso’s influence. So overall it was good - if the tour guide included us all in his explanations it would have been perfect.Written May 15, 2018
- Cyrus M0 contributionsBest Fort town in Cote D Azur + contemporary art sceneamazing place - I know the Cote d Azur very well but this was my first visit to St Paul and although it was a Sunday and most shops were closed the art shops were amazing. The place is truly majestic sitting atop the hill as an old fort township and fabulous place to visit any time of year. Visitors will be assured great photos - immersion in contemporary art and some very decent food restaurants too - worth visiting for a day trip or even staying a couple of nights at some of the guest houses or even the rather pricey hotel at the entrance to the fort. Its a 1 hour bus ride from NiceWritten April 9, 2018

The worst trip ever, driver and tour guide in one person was late to begin with, the was 8 tourists in the van , people sitting in the back row of the van couldn’t hear what the tour guide was trying to tell about the attractions we were passing by .
We had no time to explore the surroundings, the tour guide had very limited knowledge of the facts and the history.
Poor English of the tour guide was another factor that this trip was a waste of time and money.

I was picked up promptly by the driver/tour guide at 8:30 from near Nice train station. He was courteous, knowledgeable and provided a non-stop, soft spoken commentary of all the places we visited. We went to Villefranche-sur-Mer, Eze, Monaco and Monte Carlo. They were all utterly delightful. The mini van is clean, spacious and air-conditioned. There were 5 other passengers with me - I didn’t know anyone but by the end of the 5 hours we had all become friends. We weee brought back around 1:30. Driver Akis was great! Highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a half day of getting to know this part of the French Riviera.

This trip was completely worth it. The driver/tour guide picked me and 5 other passengers promptly at 8:30. He was soft-spoken but friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. We stopped at Eze village, Villefrenche-sur-mer, Monaco palace and Montecarlo. Bring water, a hat, comfy shoes (Eze village and Monaco palace have 5-10 min climbs). The mini bus was private, spacious, air-conditioned and perfect. The entire day and schedule worked as planned. The driver didn’t suggest when would be a good place to grab lunch so use your judgement. You can grab food & drink at one of the stops. Eze village had toilets but no toilets for first 90 mins of the trip as you will be on the road. Pro tip:bring a smile, be grateful, have a positive mind set, and then go with the flow. I am so glad I did this half day tour. I loved every minute of it!

If you're ever in Nice for the weekend and want a quick whistle stop tour of Eze and Monaco then this is your tour. We were picked up by the ever knowledgeable Justin who is English and French speaking. The minibus was nice, clean and spacious Firstly driven to Eze which is about 40 minutes away from Nice centre. We stopped off for a photo op before our arrival. Justin proceeded to provide us with in depth knowledge of Nice and Eze. Once in Eze we were able to explore for about 45 minutes. With a population of 26 people, you are practically walking through people's front rooms. Really good experience, however, it is a uphill trek to get to so wear appropriate footwear. We were then taken to a perfumery and given the history of perfume/soap differentiating the strengths and the ingredients that go into making scents. I learnt a lot here. There is also an opportunity to buy aswell.
The next stop was Monaco, although it was raining we were still able to absorb the wonder of the tax free haven for the rich and famous. We saw the casino, drove the route of the F1 race track. Visited the yellow submarine, prince of Monaco's palace and the local cathedral. All were out of this world.
We were driven back to central Nice for lunch with some amazing suggestions regarding places to eat from Justin. Overall, this is definitely worth the money and Justin was the best tour guide I've ever encountered.

I'm interested in the half day tour of Eze, Monaco and the racetrack in Monte Carlo but it would be from the port in Monaco not Nice. Can your tour driver pick us up at the port?
