Exceptional customer service, and lovely boats.
Trans Cote D’Azur is a professionally run company that I have used many times before (Mainly for the round trip on Monaco Gp day). The company has several boats that are all immaculate, and look and feel as new as the day they were built. Sadly, on this occasion our return trip to St. Tropez from Nice had to be cancelled due to severe thunderstorms (Thursday 15th August). Nobody’s fault, and naturally on the grounds of customer safety - a lesser company in the Mediterranean might have gone ahead regardless. I was contacted by their office by phone the day before and advised of the cancellation and was asked if I could call in the next day to receive a full refund, which they promptly issued. I then booked a smaller cruise around the peninsula for my family of four for the Friday as an alternative, as we had a flight to catch home which wouldn’t allow us to partake in our intended trip to St. Tropez. This short trip was thoroughly enjoyed by us all, and the staff on board the boat were friendly and professional. Finally, I must say a special mention to Deborah who works in the reception office. This young lady was wonderful to deal with and gave exceptional service throughout our dealings with her. An absolute credit to the company!

      Relaxing Day
It's a very nice excursion. I spent half a day relaxing at a beach. The only thing that could've been better would be if the ship times were more flexible. There was only 1 ship going out, and only 1 ship coming back to Cannes. The ship was overcrowded to the point that not everyone could sit.

Disappointing Experience and Not Worth the Money.
Disappointing Experience and Not Worth the Money. I had high expectations for this boat trip, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The boat was nice and clean, but the trip itself was nothing special – just a short trip up and down the coast. Additionally, the service was poor. Snorkeling was not possible at the spot they anchored; activities were only allowed around the boat since it was dangerous to move far from it due to large boats passing by. There was also a strong current in the water where they anchored. I would not recommend this trip, especially not at the price. Save your money and look for other options.

      Wonderful day - trip highlight
We had a fabulous time on this catamaran day in Cannes. The service was great, the lunch was more than expected. The bar was well stocked and there was plenty room for everyone. I felt the half way was just the right length of time, and we had a ball. Definitely book this - it was a highlight of our trip!

      Nothing special
Boat is nice and neat. The trip is nothing special, a bit up and down the coast. Part of the equipment was not used due to weather circumstances. Basically, not worth the money. Direct bookings appeared to be a lot cheaper then thru Tripadvisor.

Great day out (mixed aged group)
Fantastic day out. Lovely trip out of Cannes Harbour. Staff very friendly. Lots of activities, but not a huge amount of equipment for the numbers. Nevertheless, everyone got to do something: kayak, SU paddleboard or snorkeling. Snacks & drinks on board (cash only) - reasonable prices. All in all - a success

      Stay clear from these guys
My family of five boarded in Cannes on 29/6/23 to St. Tropez. The ferry had two previous stops before Cannes, and by the time we boarded, the ferry was approximately 80% filled with existing passengers. When we boarded along with many other passengers we couldn’t find many open seats on the fly deck or the aft deck below. A asked a young bosun whether they were at capacity, he just laughed. There were passengers standing, folks sitting on both companionway (staircases) blocking escape routes. When I confronted the smug fist mate whether they exceeded the vessels 350 max souls on board, he just laughed. When I asked whether they had 350 life jackets, again he laughed. He insisted I come to the wheel house to talk to the captain if I had a concern. This is a blatant maritime violation as the captain is in command sailing out of a busy port, I refused. Insisting I speak with the captain he asked that I stay where I was and he would bring the captain aft to talk to me. As a captain myself mostly off shore Fort Lauderdale, I stated this would never happen in my country, the first mate responded stay in your country next time or find a yacht next time. It was apparent this smug arrogant first mate had no idea what I was referring to, the safety issues. The first mate job is to ensure the safety of the passengers and crew, he was more a clown in a circus show. In addition I make it a rule to check sea conditions before going to out, a habit. The weather conditions had forecasted rain later. Luckily it did not, had it rained, the boat would have been off keel with some many passengers on the fly deck. I’ve sailed the Med a few years ago and can tell you the conditions can change from calm to 15 knots of wind and heavy rain with 2-3 meter swells. Hire a cab or rent a car, stay clear of this unsafe overcrowded ferry which operates with zero safety margins.

They can cancel but you cannot!
I got sick the night before and hoped to make the trip but could not. When I tried to contact the provider they did not respond when I requested a refund I was told it was unfortunate I could not make the trip but a refund would not be issued. I will never book another trip with viator your affiliate or Trans Cote d Azur they canceled two excursions on me with no explanation and when I requested a refund because I was having stomach issues and could not get a bolt to make the cruise I got no response but unfortunately we can not refund your trip. I do not recommend.

      Lovely view of the coast
Immaculately clean boat, and an excellent crew - one of whom was determined to entertain throughout. Great fun! Felt a little overcrowded (even in September) and they could really do with someone managing the queues when trying to get on board. It was a proper scrum at both ends of the trip which might be a little uncomfortable for the elderly or those with young families. Other than that, a really super cruise down the coast and well worth the money.

      Not organized
My friend and I took the ferry for 60 Euro round trip. For this price, they should only sell as many tickets as they have seats. The return was chaotic because people were rushing to get inside the boat just to make sure they got a seat. Yes it’s true it is the fastest way to get to St. Tropez but what you pay, it could have been and should have been better.

They take your monney and say that the card is declimed
We Are truly in shock by the workers at the counter that sells tickets. The older blond woman with curly hair is an imposter or is the whole company. We were paying for tickets and it said not approved on the terminal, but the monney was taken from our bank account. The lady said that we should come back the next day before going on board to st.tropez and that she would fix it. When we came to tell her she told us that the reciept is fake and if is not in French she would not help us,startet shouting and yelling at us. Dont go here, they take your monney and say that you have not paid!!!!

      Beautiful Half-Day Cruise
Very professional and friendly crew. Beautiful clean catamaran. Never felt cramped or overcrowded. Would have given a 5 but our trip was interrupted by a medical emergency who was way too old to be allowed to jump into the Mediterranean. Almost his last swim. Food was very good. Even served a tasty Niçoise salad. Highly recommend this excursion.

Beautiful view of Cannes! There is little to do on the island itself. The ford is good for some nice photos, but other than that you can only walk there. Nice if it is not too hot, but for us this was not an option.
The lake is beautiful but unfortunately completely closed.
We thought we could make a day trip there, but we were back in Cannes around 2 p.m.

This is a great day trip to take while in Cannes. The trip from harbor to island is about 20-30 minutes. You can stay on the island for as long as you want since they have ferries coming/going every hour. The Ste. Marguerite Island is a great tourist spot.

Visiting the island of Saint Marguerite was perfect. We purchased some food before at the local market and then had a picnic. You could bring your swimsuit and swim in the ocean or walk around the island. There are plenty of natural spaces to sit. The boat ride was 15 minutes. I must go if you are in Cannes.

The island itself was great and the views were lovely, however there are no signs or directions on how to get to the ferry. There are a few piers and it is not made clear which one the ferry goes from. We ended up at the wrong one and it meant we wasted almost 2 hours just trying to find the pier to go from.

Loved our day on the island, walking everywhere. Snorkelling was great too and water was beautifully clear. Large trees protect you from the sun (we had 37C!) and near the ferry you will find some small restaurants which were ok.

I booked the ferry trip prior to arriving in Cannes, through Tripadvisor. It was simple and easy to do. The outward and inward timings were convenient and frequent enough to be able to spend time having an afternoon picnic on the island, which is what we did. Would definitely recommend - good value for money, drinks available on board, covered and open seating available as the ferry is a double-decker.
