      Great sites.
Nice trip. Pont du Gard is fantastic. And our guide had a lot of information about its history. The amphitheatre we were on our own with headsets to explore. Learned a lot about the wine growing in the area. Good day. NOTE: I missed that we had to pay for our own tickets at the Roman Ampitheatre. It will add 11 euros to the price.

      Perfect 1/2 day tour
Easy, fun wine tasting with much appreciated no pressure sales at the end of each stop. 3 places was enough. Interesting and beautiful drive in comfortable minivan. Great guide. Lots of info and not tooooo much.

Enjoyable Sunday Full Day Tour, especially with a delicious lunch and gorgeous view in Rousillon
Very fruitful itinerary which covers a lot of scenic places! Enjoyed the wet market on Sunday morning and the last stop with a cool walking at the bridge

Enjoyable wine tasting experiences with a passionate and happy tourist guide!
Expected wine tasting experiences with some light snacks and from the real main chateau. However, those 3 wine shops’ owners are nice and we bought Blanc and Rough wines from each of them.

      Loved touring Provence with Gordana!
We did 2 small group tours while in Avignon. Both had Gordana as a guide and were lots of fun. Gordana loves Provence and is very enthusiastic. First we visited Fontaine-de-Vaucluse which was a beautiful little village, Luberon, Gordes and artsy village of Roussillon. Gordana gave us lots of time in each village and lots of information. Can't recommend enough, book it!

      One fine day.
What a day !!!! Gordana made it perfect! She’s so enthusiastic and knowledgeable, made our 5 h tour pure joy ! She is an excellent driver and knows the history of the area well. We’ve learned a lot about history of Avignon, stopped in the city of Orange (visited Roman theater), winery stop with wine tasting and finished the day at the site of Pont du Gard. Highly recommend this tour !!!

      A must trip in Provence.
I travelled as a solo passenger and soon got to know the group. Natalie was our guide and was a great fount of knowledge, constantly informing the group about the history of the area and was very enthusiastic about the region. It was an overcast day with occasional rain showers but that didn't stop us spending time in each of the places visited. We had an 1 hour 30 minute stop for lunch and then it was back on the road to complete the tour. Natalie enabled us to dip into some great places and to learn a little about each village. A great trip in a great part of France and well worth the money. Thanks Natalie!

      Disappointing Provence Tour
The locations we visited were very interesting and worthwhile. However the design of the tour and the tour guide were not worth the 80 euros per person. The tour lasted 5 hours and not once were we offered anything including a glass of water or given the opportunity to stop for a snack or cup of coffee. However the guide who was arrogant and dismissive, had food and drinks for herself. By the time the tour ended we were thirsty, hungry and uncomfortable. In comparison the day before we went on an all day river cruise which included a three course meal and wine for 75 euro per person and the host was warm and delightful. My recommendation is skip this tour and go on the boat trip or hire your own car!

Nimes, Uzes & Pont du Gard Small Group Half-Day Tour from Avignon
Our tour guide was very knowledgable, friendly, and had a cheerful, pleasant personality. I was amazed to see all the different things made by the Romans and still exist and are functional. I highly recommend this tour.

      A Lovely Afternoon Tour!
We had a very good experience on this tour. Our guide, Ann, was very knowledgeable about the city, Avignon, having been born here. She also was a very competent guide to the vineyards and wine tastings in the area and of the history of the Pont du Gard. We were with a small group of 3 couples and felt that the 5 hour tour was perfect for us. Thank you!

A tour not to be missed
EXCELLENT tour! We would go again. Gordana was the best tour guide, ever! We saw the amphitheater in Orange, Wine tasting, then Pont du Gard at dusk. She was thoughtful, articulate and entertaining. Her history of the area was just the amount needed. She spoke fluently in English and translated French for us as needed. She even stopped at a road side stand and purchased us some fresh strawberries. We have a new friend.

      Tour operator cancelled on us
We requested on March 22 for the tour on March 25 and received a "pending" email; On March 23, the tour operator asked if we could do the tour on the 24th, which we replied No as we were en route that day. On March 24, the tour operator told us they would not do our tour. For them to cancel the day before the tour puts us in a last-minute scramble for our one day in Avignon. I suppose good for them, bad for us. Business as usual, beware!

Wine a highlight of our trip
Province is a historic area that has-been making unique wine for thousands of years. Tasting wine from Province is wonderful, especially in traditional varieties. Province is a hilly region, taking a tour from Avignon is beneficial. We loved tasting authentic wine; it was a highlight of our trip to Avignon.

Had a wonderful experience with Gordana on this tour. Very knowledgeable, friendly, excellent English and funny. Vehicle was excellent and bigger than most of the other 8 passengers vans used by others. Very willing to stop at what interested us. Also did another tour with William and had the same excellent experience. Highly recommend this company. I also think they cost a little less than some other tour companies.

We went to the south of France primarily because of a lifelong fascination with Van Gogh. Anne was our guide for this five-hour tour and we can't say enough good things about her. She's multilingual and expert in the culture and history of Provence as well as Van Gogh and other artists. She has also very kindly helped me follow up with a shop owner.
If we ever return to Arles and Anne and/or Gordana do a full-day tour, we'd like to take a closer look at the site of the Yellow House and the view from there of the harbor and of what used to be the "Poet's Garden" (Van Gogh's name for it) which was visible from VG's bedroom. It no longer has even the scruffy trees of Van Gogh's day, but it would be good to check out the original sites of the "garden" from the vantage point of the Yellow House's location, the police station diagonally across from the Yellow House, the original locations of Cafe de la Gare, and the Venissac restaurant which were also across from the park. We'd also like to see the general location of the House of Tolerance no.1 where VG took his ear to "Rachel"/Gaby. The short street still exists but the building is now a private home and the house number is not publicized. We'd also like, on our next trip, to go inside the monastery at Saint-Remy despite it being NEXT to the still-active asylum where VG stayed and not where he actually was treated. But the monastery has set up a room similar to what VG's room looked like and there are original art works by current patients that can be purchased. Also, the gardens of the monastery were painted extensively by Van Gogh so that is worth seeing.
We also want to thank Gordana who communicated with us by email during the planning of our trip...other reviews point out that she is also a terrific guide!
*It's good to know that this is a WALKING tour, mostly on cobblestone streets. Bring your best walking shoes.*

Gordana was a wonderful, intelligent guide. The tour itself was just the right length and we loved the fact that it was a bus tour only in going from place to place. In the 3 places we visited we got to walk around and even had some free time to sit in cafes and absorb atmosphere. Gordana was punctual, the mini-van was spotless, and I would recommend her company to anyone who wants to do day trips from Avignon.

We loved this tour because not only was it incredibly picturesque but we learned so much. Tour driver was very, very knowledgeable and patient, probably because he was a local. Every thing was run on time, and the cost was quite reasonable.

Gordana did a great job showing us all the Van Gough highlights around Avignon. She is very knowledgeable and kept us entertained. I would highly recommend this tour. We also took the Roman history/viaduct tour and it was just as informative.
