- rebeccacA3430FI0 contributionsProvence highlights tour from AvignonAn excellent tour with a great guide. Natalie is very hardworking and knowledgeable as well as making the full day visit very enjoyable. Beautiful and fascinating places to visit. Thank you.Written September 16, 2024
- Anonymous9250 contributionsGood Tour, Very Crowded and TouristyWonderful tour through several incredibly touristy villages. None of these places are very authentic. They exist for the tourists. Are they beautiful? Absolutely. Are they worth seeing? Sure. Would I recommend this tour with this company? Yes. That being said, I felt a bit like I was in a Disney theme park with the long lines replaced by long drives. And, since no one reads this anyway, I'm going to rant for a minute on gratuities. After having spent a bunch of time in Europe, I used to think that "gratuities included" was fantastic. I'm beginning to second-guess that considerably. What I find is that in general, I get what I'm promised and nothing more. I really don't need to know the Wikipedia history of Gordes, France. I can Google that. But I travel because I'm a curious person. I like to know things about the region and what it's like to live there. The interesting things that I can't find online. I tend to ask those types of questions rather than questions specifically about a historic site where the information is readily available online. However, this is not what I am promised. I promised a history lesson of a region and this is what I'm delivered. Anything more seems to be an intrusion in privacy. I'm sure this is a cultural thing, but I would rather have a gratuity be part of the compensation and have someone need to work a little bit in order to earn that. Same seems to be true for all services, not just tour guides. Without gratuities, you get what you're owed and nothing more. I prefer gratuities.Written September 16, 2024

- Ellie W0 contributionsGreat winery and countryside tourEnjoyed the stops and wineries on this tour. We bought many bottles. Would not recommend to folks with mobility issues. Host could have offered water more frequently.Written September 10, 2024
- 975niab0 contributionsThey’re all highlights! We couldn’t choose our favourite. This’s is a brilliant one day tour where you get to see so much more than trying to do it yourselves. We had a car but opted to join this trip and I’m so glad we did. Our tour guide Anne was fantastic- really well informed about everything we saw and made a real point of making sure we saw everything from the best angle and she took photos for all of us all day. There was no highlight as each stop was a highlight on its own. We’d highly recommend this tour - and thank Anne for guiding us so brilliantly all day.Written September 9, 2024

- Kathy Z0 contributionsGreat way to see the wine country in a half a day!Really enjoyed this tour! We visited three tasting rooms, two of which were very quaint and had very good wine. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and we did not feel pressured to make big wine purchases. Would highly recommend this tour!Written September 7, 2024
- Marybeth V0 contributionsFun tour and great intro to southern Rhône wines and region. Our tour guide Anna was very personable and extremely knowledgeable about the wines of the southern Rhône region. The tour was a great way to explore it.Written September 6, 2024
- hannahwS1855XW0 contributionsFantastic Wine Tour with Gordana! We had an amazing time on Gordana’s wine tour through Châteauneuf-du-Pape. She was incredibly communicative, energetic, and made the experience feel exclusive and tailored to us. Gordana’s deep knowledge and passion for wine really stood out, and we learned so much while having a fantastic time. If you’re looking for a fun and informative wine tour, she’s the perfect guide. Highly recommended!Written September 5, 2024
- clowills0 contributionsGorgeous time! Gorgeous wine!Anne was an angel! She made the experience a fabulous one! The amount of stops, information and variety of wine was worth the money! While we stop at each winery Anne was very knowledgable, accommodating and we won’t forget about the lovely photos she took of us! Highly recommend, great for couples and friends, perfect to meet a small group of people with a similar interest of wine!Written September 5, 2024
- K6071GJrichardh0 contributionsNatalie was a pleasure! The trip was a delight, full of history and wine. We really enjoyed all elements from the Roman theatre and aquaduxt to the wine tasting. Although we hadn’t planned on buying any wine we decided on 3 bottles for future family special occasions. Natalie was a wonderful host, she was warm and engaging but also informative and knowledgeable, likewise the wine specialist colleague!Written September 3, 2024
- 312kay0 contributionsBest highlightI had the best tour guide lady and best experience! The tour covered all major spots and nicely timed to give enough time for exploring. The best value for money! I will definitely come back for tours from this 3-lady business!!!!Written August 26, 2024
- 312kay0 contributionsBest wine tastingOur guide Ann is the best! She shares local knowledge about the wine and area, also insight about Avignon and life and culture here. All people i met at winery are down to earth, you just know their focus is really just about wine snd not seeing wine as one small part of big entertainment. Renaud from Le boutiniere is 4 months into the job, bit you can see he is making every effort there. I totally enjoyed this tour, best wine tasting!Written August 24, 2024
- karennJ8374VI0 contributionsWine tasting near AvignonAnne gave a great tour! Tons of interesting information on the region, tours of wines, soil, history and much more. We went to three wineries, a chocolate store and stopped a few times for pictures along the way! It was the perfect day. We actually stayed in Arles and took the train to Avignon. Very easy to do. Doing the half day tour is a must!Written August 23, 2024
- smjboise0 contributionsFantastic highlights tourThis is an excellent tour. Fantastic opportunity to see so many sights in the area and learn about each one. The tour guide is excellent at providing information about the area, tips to make each stop productive, and answering all questions. She also knows the best spots for photos and overlooks. The van is comfortable with AC. There is enough time at each stop to get a very good feel for each location. Highly recommend this tour.Written August 20, 2024

The trip was very good. Our guide, Anne, was very knowledgeable. The walking tour of Arles covered both the Roman history and Van Gogh sites. We saw bulls, white horses and flamingoes in the Camargue and had time in Saintes Marie de la Mer.

Excellent tour and great value for money. Anne was extremely knowledgeable about Arles and the Camargue. She knew exactly where to get the best views of the wildlife. Even provided apples so we could feed the white horses! A thoroughly enjoyable morning. Anne was a great guide and really enjoyed her sense of humour. Definitely would recommend this tour.

Although we are not keen on organised tours, we were travelling without a car so it seemed to be the only option to see Camargue. We were concerned that a half day would not be enough. However, we needn't have worried about either of these things. There were only 4 of us on the tour with Ann (i think the maximum is 8) and it was a really enjoyable day. We hadn't planned to go to Arles but were glad we did, well worth a visit. Camargue was amazing, we visited the bird sanctuary area and saw more flamingos than you could ever wish for. We also fed some of the horses en route and saw the black bulls. Ann knew all the best routes and places to go so we realy got the best out of our time and as there were only a few of us the day was also quite flexible and never felt too rushed. We even managed to fit in a visit to St Maries de la Mer. A great day, well worth the money. It was easy to book through the Tourist Information Centre.

My Mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our time vising Arles and Camargue wiht Anne this morning. Anne was knowledgeable, informative and very personable. At Arles, we got a glimpse into the story behind some of Van Gogh art and personality; at Camargue, we got to feed apples to white horses and enjoy the sight of pink flamingoes; and finally, at we finished the tour with a walk on the beach and a gorgeous view of the Mediterranean sea. Anne even took great pictures of us!
The only constructive feedback I have is that the tour felt a bit rushed. But since we only have 5 hours, I understand why we were on a time crunch

We took a tour with Anne to Arles and the Camargue and were able to see a lot in a short space of time, and thoroughly enjoyed our time on the road and the animals we saw.

We were lucky enough to have Gordana to ourselves to explore Arles and the Camargue. She advised that we could alter the schedule to our own needs, however, we went with her recommendations. We loved the walking tour of Arles, including visiting the sites related to Vincent Van Gogh. We then went to the Camargue to see the special terrain and animals there. Although it was raining we still saw the flamingoes, bulls and horses. We also visited a lovely seaside town nearby. Gordana was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the region and was great company throughout the tour. I would highly recommend this tour if you have half a day to spare in Provence.

Booked this tour at the last minute based on recommendation from our vrbo host. Tour company was happy to accommodate us even though it was last minute and in fact we ended up with the equivalent of a private tour because we were the only ones booked. Anne was extremely knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and very focused on making sure the tour lived up to its description. We learned the history of Arles and it’s connection to Van Gogh, and we got a comprehensive tour of the Camargue region. Anne worked hard to give us photo opps for all the highlights and offered several times to take our picture. She also made an unscheduled stop back in Avignon on the other side of the Rhône because the light was beautiful and she wanted us to have a photo of Avignon from that vantage point. She seemed to truly want to share the best of her city with us.
