- Lois M0 contributionsGreat way to see more of Provence and its villagesExcellent way to see more of Provence, with each village offering something different. We went on a Sunday and visited the market is Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue first which we would highly recommend. Then on to see the source of the Sorgue river at Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, before seeing the villages of Gordes, Roussillon and Lourmarin. Good amount of time at each stop, and our guide Simon was knowledgeable and friendly.Written September 28, 2024
- davesM4253YC0 contributionsHighlights of MarseilleOur driver was excellent. She worked very hard to make sure we saw as much as possible despite heavy traffic and crowds. Her english was good but at times she was hard to hear because her microphone was not well placed. We would do it again.Written September 21, 2024
- 879enik_k0 contributionsAn unforgettable experience.Four completely different but amazingly beautiful jewels in one day! Fontaine de Vaucluse is a special natural wonder: as a lot of water pours out from under the ground With a well trained and flexible tour guide.Written August 20, 2024
- A151CLdanielk0 contributionsUnbelievably beautiful lavender fields and well worth the money. My wife was really interested in visiting the Provence area during lavender season, me not so much. That all changed during the tour. I simply couldn't get enough of the unbelievably beauty lavender fields that we were taken to. Simply stunning and photos in general simply do not do them justice. Our guide, Nicholas from Bonjour Provence Tours in Aix-en-Provence was outstanding. Nicholas was friendly, helpful and always available to take those priceless photos. Nicholas also knew where to take us to lavender fields that were a little off the beaten trail and away from the hordes of other tourist. To top it off, Nicholas definitely went above and beyond to let us experience as many lavender fields as we could prior to the sunsetting. The only drawback to this tour was the van was a bit old and the air conditioning was not great. A bigger drawback was our visit to the town of Valensole. When we arrived in Valensole, there were virtually no options to grab something to eat and only one place was open to have a glass of wine. The town definitely is missing out on the tourist money as it was readily apparent they could careless if we were there or not. My recommendation to people taking the tour is bring your own food and for Bonjour Provence Tours to reduce the amount of time spent in Valensole from 45 minutes to say 15-20 minutes. Overall this was a great tour. The star of the show was the lavender fields. They lived up to their hype and more. Thanks for a great tour Nicholas and Bonjour Provence.Written July 9, 2024
- millieandlily0 contributionsLavender is gorgeousThe lavender fields were gorgeous, and we got to see several different fields and spend some time taking photos and soaking up the experience. And it was especially beautiful in the latter part of the day with the afternoon and evening light. It will harvested soon , so I was very happy I got to see them. Otherwise, Our tour guide was running late to pick us up at the meeting point. There was no real “guiding” or sharing information with us about the area and the history; it was really just the transport and a means to an end to see the lavender. So in that regards, it was worth it. Also, take some food with you and don’t rely on being able to grab something along the way.Written July 5, 2024
- A3193DLjenniferr0 contributionsSo many gems to discover in the Luberon! Our day started with great excitement for our first ever excursion to the Luberon with our private guide Paul. The views and sights were breathtaking and charming from the ochre cliffs of Roussillon to antiquing in L’ Isle Sur la Sorgue. Paul is a great guide easy with a smile, knowledgeable and inquisitive. The conversations were easy as he explained in detail all the sights and walked and talked with us as friends. We were guided through the bustling markets where we bought the most fragrant lavender in all of France. He took us to a surprise lavender field along the way to our next town. Paul was eager to learn from us as we were to learn from him in experiencing a most glorious day. We would enjoy an excursion with him anytime.Written June 29, 2024

So I was excited about this tour. And yes, in reality I was not disappointed, the tour was fantastic. The bus is comfortable. - peelbrostravel0 contributionsGreat little trip to doour group was small so was easily managed by Nikkolas our tour guide. He went over the history and the points of interest during our voyage to Cassis from Aix. Air con van which was good. We had plenty of time to walk the streets and have lunch. Great little spot and recommend this tripWritten June 16, 2024
- josebenjamin0 contributionsExcellent Experience - Good Guide - Marvelous ViewsRecently, April 2024, my wife and I took this Luberon Villages tour. Unfortunately it did rain during the morning, but it stopped by mid-day. Nevertheless, we had a very nice experience. Gino was very good, speaks several languages, and he is very knowledgeable. No doubt, the Luberon Villages are great sights. We were particularly impressed with the beauty of Gordes and Rousillon. The cost was rather high, but we felt it was worth it. Our only objection was that with all the driving and moving, there was very little time to have something to eat during the way. The tour is essentially a full day.Written June 2, 2024

- timd7020 contributionsPleasant day in the LuberonMy wife and I booked this trip to the Luberon with Bonjour Provence while in Aix-en -Provence.I researched things to do from home before our trip and chose this company. We booked the tour while in Aix at their tourist office. Our driver and guide Paul met us on time at the meeting place and off we were. There were seven of us, speaking two languages. He did a great job showing us the areas and leaving us alone to explore on our own when we wanted. Just what we ask for in a guide. The four towns were beautiful. A perfect way to see the area without the stress of driving. Book it if you can...Written May 5, 2024

A full day tour learning about Van Gogh and visiting places where he painted and where he was incarcerated for mental issues. A very good overview of part of his life brought to life by our guide Marlin. We were dropped off in Avignon to see the popes palace and the famous unfinished bridge. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and would recommend this tour to friends.

Excellent tour to Avignon, Le Baux, St. Remy and Arles with Silvio. Very cool, helpful, and smart man. He provided the trip program that we need which is less talking and more free time. The trip itself is perfect and lets you make the most out of Province. Thanks Bonjour and Silvio.

I was a very demanding tourist who wanted to visit major cities such as Arles and Avignon and some relatively minor but not-to-miss places in the region, where no one can visit easily without a car. After studying several offers by local travel agencies, I chose this tour as this program seemed to me the most efficient, effective and richest. In fact, the actual tour with the friendly driver guide and well-designed program was better than I expected.
For instance, in St-Remy Provence, we walked along the cozy shopping street and Nostradamus’s natal home, and stopped over at Van Gogh’s mental asylum in the the suburban area. One of the highlights was a visit to Les-Baux-de-Provence, a fortified town on the top of a rocky peak. Thanks to the driver, we got off the car near the entrance and walked through the charming medieval streets. Finally we all could enjoy the panoramic view from the top. It’s amazing ending of the tour. I recommend you this tour to visit the most famous cites and some smaller but not-to-be-missed places in the region in an effective way.

Very nice tour operator but a little skimpy in terms of information. Tour left on time but returned quite late due to traffic.

Our guide Marlon was great. We got a lot of history and time to see many things. Catching students in the park singing opera was a big plus.
