Sebastian and his wife were great tour guides with insights to the towns we visited. Helpful with the maps they provided for exploring each town at our own pace and interests. - DocJules0 contributionsMinibus taxi around ProvenceNot so much of a guided tour as a minibus ride (8 people of various nationalities) to several locations where you’re left to look around on your own. Suited us, but quite expensive at €133 each. Visit to a Chateauneuf du Pape winery for tasting was a disappointment, and not a great advert for one of the world’s best wine regions.Written August 27, 2024
- Quest2582350 contributionsLovely short wine tourWe had a lovely time on this wine tour. Arnau was our guide and he did an excellent job. Beautiful views on drive as well as from the two wineries. It was perfect at just 3.5 hours as we wanted to explore Aix on our own upon our return at 1230pm. I would recommend for a quick easy and relaxing tour.Written August 26, 2024
- TravelUSA670 contributionsTHIS was the Highlight of my WeekAbsolutely perfect day! Beautiful architecture, villages, stops, and scenery. Jocelyn was possibly the best guide I've had in 20 years of travel. No exaggeration. 100% genuine, funny, energetic, and knowledgeable. Spent a whole day biking, loved every second of it, and would do it all over again any day!!Written August 23, 2024
- LPG26180 contributionsMagnificent!Jen was a spectacular guide with knowledge of every where we stopped as well as the journey to get there. We could have spent more time in both Les Baux and Avignon but we got a taste of both places and will be back. The wine tasting ending our day in Provence was awesome. We highly recommend this tour!Written August 22, 2024
- B9812JCamandab0 contributionsCote de Provence Wine TourWe had an amazing wine tour with Greg, who was incredibly knowledgeable and made the wine-making process easy to understand. His humor and friendliness added to the experience, and we loved that the tour supported local wineries. Seeing the entire production process, from grape vines to the final product, was fascinating. We highly recommend this tour!Written August 20, 2024
- dumalw0 contributionsExceptional Wine Tour Experience!Greg was an exceptional guide on our Provence wine tour! His knowledge and passion for local wines made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend! Anna at the second winery was also super knowledgeable and professional. Thank you to both!Written August 20, 2024
- Mark B0 contributionsGreg was fantastic! Wonderful tour!Greg, our tour guide, was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, detailed, a great listener. He made our tour a true pleasure - we learned a lot, enjoyed the relaxing aspects of the tour and also had the luxury to enjoy some physical activity as well. We appreciated that this tour gave us the opportunity to make what we wanted of it. Greg safely drove us to several locations (lavender/olive oil/almond farm, small villages, Verdon gorge and lake) and gave us plenty of information to feel comfortable and enjoy the place in ways we wanted to. I highly recommend this trip if you are in Aix for a short time, and want to get a great overview of what the surrounding area is like. The scenes were beautiful and the day was very fun. Thanks to Greg for making it all such a great experience!Written August 18, 2024
- laura_tish0 contributionsGreat day in ProvenceThat was a perfect day ! Our guide Greg was the best companion, who gave us lots of knowledge, love and admiration for Provence, really personal attention, lots of humour and caring! Despite of the long hours and August heat we enjoyed every moment of this trip! Greg is a special person who became our best friend ! I wish we had a guide like him on every trip we make. We highly recommend this trip to anyone who loves Provence and wants to get to the heart of it.Written August 13, 2024

Driver made up the tour as he went. Most people seem to book through third party websites, so we all had different descriptions, so he just decided to at minimum take us to the lavender fields, but other than going to the lavender museum, nothing else was listed in our description of our 8 hr tour we bought. By the time we made it to the Lavender museum, the guided tours were completed so we just did a self guided tour which was poor at best. He also said he was taking us to a lavender oil distillery, but it was clearly a friend of his, who he then persuaded to open their gift shift, which then made us feel obligated to purchase from them. No clue where he was taking us and most got car sick by rough driving despite multiple different people on the tour to ask him to drive less chaotic. Lots of hugging the bumper of the cars in front of us and breaking hard. At one point, everyone in the car was holding on to the handles on the roof of the car and this was on a paved road. It could have been an isolated incident with this tour, but not worth the €105 we paid for it. Would not repeat.

I was thrilled that we were in the right place at the right time to see the lavender in bloom. The tour was absolutely worth it to be able to go to several locations that were not crowded to take lovely photos of the lavender. Our guide was very nice, and helpful. We went to at least three different fields for photos. I felt like the last stop at the shop for olive oil tasting was my least favorite of the afternoon, it felt a little commercial, like we were supposed to buy something. But the rest of the stops were absolutely worth the tour. the only other disappointment was there was a VERY young child of 3 or 4 on the tour, and while he didn't misbehave, I certainly don't think the afternoon was appropriate for a young child. The child was sick and coughed and sneezed and needed his nose wiped constantly, but honestly his constant talking and babbling for the hour drive back to Aix just about drove us all crazy. Glad I took the tour, didn't love the people on our tour.

An absolute treat and I feel so lucky to get the booking at the last minute where most excursions were booked through July!
Our fabulous tour guide, Philippe, recounted many stories of the history of Provence, the Lavender fields, Olive orchards, sunflowers, historical towns, castles, culture… and allowed plenty of time to literally stop and smell the flowers.
An incredible day as I now understand this is the best bloom in years! I feel very fortunate and definitely would not have experienced this had it not been for the guided tour.
Merci Beaucoup!

Hugo was an excellent tour guide! I booked this solo and had such a great time! We went to a bunch of different lavender fields, and learned about the differences between each one, then went to a little gift shop as well that was lovely. After that we spent the afternoon driving around Provence and seeing beautiful views of the gorge and the lake. Hugo was very knowledgeable and friendly, and our whole group loved him. Highly recommend the full day tour for a beautiful slice of Provence!

Taking the full day tour was worth every penny. We had a wonderful guide, Pascal, who took us to many lavender farms and gave us enough time to take many photos. He’s passionate about the Provence region. He also took us to many other places that left me mind blown—-so beautiful!

Solène was our guide and she was absolutely lovely and informative. She took the time to get to know the group, share information about the area and the fields, and catered to the groups needs. We learned about lavender (and lavendine) and got to see some beautiful towns around Aix. We never felt rushed or that our time was being wasted. Highly recommend this tour!

Loved this experience. They took us to a field a little off the beaten path so we were the only people there. Then we had a lovely time trying some local products. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and a great driver. I’m sure the full day trip is even better, but if you just want to do the half day tour you won’t be disappointed!

The lavender and ALL of the flowers in this region are just gorgeous! We really loved the scenery of this part of France and wished that we could have spent more time in the village of Moustiers Sainte Marie and skipped the lake visit. Fantastic tour!

Our group of friends joined 4 others for the half day Luberon village tour. Adrien was our guide and we all loved being with him. We visited 3 beautiful villages and spent about an hour at each one. Each village was different and we had enough time to explore each on our own. Adrien was informative and entertaining as he drove between the sites. Don’t hesitate to sign up for this trip.

Amazing!!..This was our #1 reason for visiting France this time and we were not disappointed. Our tour guide Nelly was fabulous and made sure we visited the most beautiful fields of Lavender. Her knowledge of the area and super friendly personality made this a spectacular day and experience.

Hi,
You meet outside the Apple store by the big fountain (right next to the tourist information). We stayed in Aix, but I’m pretty sure you can take bus from the train station to Aix. It takes about 30 min and costs €10 one way. You can buy tickets from the driver, but they don’t accept credit cards. The Apple store is roughly a 15 min walk from the station.
Hope this was helpful 😊

Hi,
I am wondering if this tour only lets you book so far in advance... as today is July 15th and I am trying to book a tour between the dates August 15th to August 18th... but on the calendar those dates are blocked out so not sure if it's sold out or if they are just not available to book yet.
Help / advice is appreciated! Thanks!
