A lovely tour by a distracted guide
This tour, led by Guilliam, was far below Viator standards. While the destinations were truly scenic and full of the Provençal atmosphere one seeks, unfortunately, our guide was so distracted by the lovely young lady in the seat next to him that he seemed to forget any attempt at a running narrative of what we were seeing. The rest of us in the van had to constantly interrupt his banter with this girl to ask questions, to which he seemed irritated.

Do it! And ask for Pepé as your guide!
This tour made my mom and me want to pack all our belongings in the US and move to Cassis! We learned a great deal about Marseille and the history of France's oldest port city; then we were transported to the beautiful town of Cassis where we walked on the beach, ate amazing local food, and travelled up the mountain to the neighboring national park that had the most beautiful view overlooking the city. Pepé was the BEST tour guide! He was knowledgable, passionate, and took great care of us. If you can, ask for him!!

Fantastic shore excursion in Marseille and Cassis
We have just returned from a shore excursion: Marseille & Cassis. Florence, our tour guide and driver was fantastic. Through her passion and knowledge, I learnt so much about Marseille. We also went to a seaside town, Cassis, that is just beautiful and somewhere we probably would not have ever gone to.

      Fun half day trip
This was a lovely half day trip to Cassis. Cassis is a pretty little seaside town. Sitting with a coffee overlooking the harbour is quite relaxing, and it’s fun to glance up and see the ancient castle - built above the town - now a luxury hotel. All so neat to see! It was wonderful to have the chance to go to the top of Cap Canaille, for sweeping views of the beautiful blue Mediterranean Sea and the town from above. But what really made this trip spectacular was our tour guide, Greg. He was 10/10!! Very engaging, funny, and so knowledgeable about the area and its history. We really learned so much on this trip. The actual town was very busy the day we visited (market day). In high season the streets must be jammed! Do the trip and cross your fingers you get Greg as your guide!

Best day ever, throughly enjoyed it all.
We had the best day it was full of new experiences. I booked this tour because l wanted to go to Pont du Gard but it was so much more. We started by visiting Les Baux de Provence which was magical then we went to Pont du Gard which was beautiful then Pope’s Palace in Avignon. The remains of a castle then wine tasting. Our tour guide& driver was Laurent and he was amazing, nothing was a problem, very professional and kind.

Amazing views, charming town and wonderful guide
We had a wonderful trip from Aix to Cassis. Greg Duvaut was an amazing tour guide - funny, knowledgeable- and took us to an amazing spot overlooking Cassis, into the town, and helped us get tickets for the 1-hour boat tour of Les Calanques. Highly recommend, just wish we had a full day to explore!

An exquisite taste of picturesque Provence!
Gabriela was a wonderful tour guide and expert driver. We climbed a castle, explored stunningly beautiful villages, drove through mountains and saw the Luberon fields of lavender, awaiting their blooms. The views were outstanding and our guide took us to scenic vistas and provided us with her knowledge of the area. It was. Taste of Provence! We can’t wait to return. Merci!

      Pretty day in Provence
very nice way to see the countryside and try some wines. Our guide Ines was very sweet and friendly. The only improvement could have been to add some water and snacks or a stop for food on the way home.

      Fun in Luberon
We really enjoyed the half-day tour from Avignon to Luberon. It was a very well-organized tour with outstanding locations. Our guide, Remi, was superb: very professional, knowledgeable, polite, amusing and enjoyable. This was so much more pleasant than renting a car and driving ourselves. We are now planning another tour with A la Française Provence!

Take the tour! Forget driving or parking in Cassis!
Easy to sign up; clear information to meet up early in the morning; small group; comfortable van; knowledgeable and fun tour guide; time on your own to shop, eat, and explore Cassis. (You will wish you had more time in Cassis once you get there and see it!) Great decision to take the tour in order to see Cassis versus driving ourselves! We wanted to see this beautiful city and after being in France for almost 2 weeks, you learn that driving into small old cities and then finding parking, is too stressful. Doing either in Cassis would have ruined or time here.

      Awesome tour!
Pelayo was a great tour guide and was very informed and able to answer all of our questions! He made our tour a very pleasant experience and we loved being able to be with the group but then also have our time to separate and explore on our own. Would highly recommend using A La Francais and thanks to Pelayo for making our experience so awesome!

Excellent value with highly personalized trip planning.
We had an outstanding 2 week trip to France arranged through Enchanting Travels.. they arranged a full day, small group (7 people) trip to Vernon Gorge and Moustiers and a private walkingt tour of Aix. Our guides,Remyand Sebastian were excellent. They were knowledgeable, enthusiastic and entertaining. The tours were well paced and very informative and provided excellent value. We would not hesitate to recommend any of their many offerings in France. Enchanting Travel was perfect in putting the whole trip together and we will certainly use them again.

We were with Remy for the whole day. He was very kind, funny and helpful, showing us around the Luberon area with detailed explanations. The wine tasting in the morning was so much fun. We went to 2 wineries, learnt how they produce the rosés and tasted in total 9 glasses of wine from 10:30. Afternoon was village visiting but Remy also made stops at the lavender fields. It was an enjoyable day. Highly recommended.

Our host was with Florence. The second we arrived she put us at ease....She was gracious enough to give the full day tour in English (which she mastered well). We did the full day tour with two wine tasting and tours, then several charming villages...through winding hills...getting just enough time to explore each village leaving us with wanting to come back to the region.

Our host Florence took good care of us and taught us many new things! Thank you.

If she was only magic enough to car sickness from winding roads..it would have been a perfect day!

Adrien was a superb guide, so knowledgeable and clearly passionate about Provence. His list of places to eat in Aix was so handy and he made the whole experience a lovely one. The two wineries we visited were really interested and we tried a lot of wine! The villages in the afternoon were stunning and there was just about the right amount of time in each. A comfortable minibus with A/C made the experience even more enjoyable.. added to this was Adrien’s singing.. what more could one need?!

We had a great experience. Greg was a great guide. He was knowledgeable & informative but was also funny & fun. Our groups (1 morning & 1 afternoon) were small and great fun. Views were spectacular in the small villages and the wineries were quite good. Would definitely do again!

This was a lovely day out with our well informed and very personable guide Natalie. The wine tour and tasting in the morning was preceded by a couple of lovely photo stops to enjoy the scenery. At the first winery the lady was very informative about the whole wine making process. The wine tasting was relaxed…there were only 6 of us…and I bought a bottle of rose…at our second stop…a family owned much older vineyard, we were lucky enough to have the owner (7th generation) explain to us his process and some of the history of the vineyard…the wine was again very pleasant..and we appreciated the differences in taste. For some reason we had assumed we would move on to the villages part of the tour…as this was advertised as a “full day tour”…however we went back to Aix for lunch on our own after 3 1/2 hours and met up with Natalie again and a different set of people for the Villages tour. This was a a 5 1/2 hour tour. We went to several different villages…each with their own characteristics..had time to explore each…and saw much of the countryside. Again Natalie’s knowledge of the are made this a very enjoyable trip. It was a long day…only comment was doing the wine tasting in the morning made it a little tough for the early afternoon. Overall a well priced trip afternoon.

Had a fantastic tour with Remy. Started with the two vineyards in the morning with a wonderful explanation about how the French label their wines and getting to taste several. We then went back to Aix for a quick lunch break before heading to the Luberon villages. We were given plenty of time to explore on our own in Lourmarin, Roussillon and Gordes with a couple of extra photo spots along the way. It was a delightful experience.

Very full day. We met at 9am at the Tourism office and returned at 7.15 pm. Nice, knowledgeable tour guides/drivers. The trip starts with 2 winery tours and tastings, then travel north to Luberon area for 3 villages. The first village we had extra time for lunch. I would have preferred to have the wine tasting in the afternoon (rather than at 10 am), but otherwise, it was a wonderful way to see the area.
