- MarcLaffer0 contributionsNormandy TourCedric was an outstanding guide with a thorough knowledge of everything related to Normandy. I was amazed with the depth of information he was able to share and there was not a single question that he was not able to answer. His passion for the events leading up to and following the Normandy invasion and his ability to convey that information made for a truly unbelievable tour.Written May 1, 2023

- Brian B0 contributionsBest guide makes the best experienceCedric made our D-Day experience amazing. We were traveling as a family (13/10) and he kept them engaged. His passion for history shines and he’s able to explain what really happened vs. the Hollywood version. He picked us up from our hotel and had lunch and drinks available. I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again.Written August 12, 2022
- Marytampafl0 contributions2 Magical Days in Bayeux & NormandyOur family of 5 spent 2 amazing days with Cedric! Day 1 was Normandy. Cedric picked us up at our Hotel in Bayeux. He is extremely informed and very passionate about the events of WWII. He explained so much of the war and stopped off at key points, many were off the beaten path. We visited Omaha beach, Utah beach and the Normandy America Cemetery. Cedric had so many stores to tell with pictures and imagery. He painted such graphic pictures for us, it really took us to a place where we could picture the story he painted for us. Absolutely magical and incredibly informative. You could tell Cedric's passion for this area of France and he reflected France's gratitude to Americans for their sacrifice. Day 2 was Mont St. Michel. Again, Cedric picked us up at our hotel. It was a long drive but Cedric kept it interesting with going different routes there and back. He had so many stories of the area and the history to share with us that the trip flew by. Cedric walked us into Mont St Michel and secured our tickets. We had the day to explore on our own. This has been #1 on my bucket list forever so I was so happy to be there. The ride home was so nice. Cedric had beverages and snacks for us and we napped a bit on the way back. He did stop off at a few locations on the way back to Bayeux to share some info that related to our Day 1 trip. Cedric was such a gentleman and his passion for WWII, Bayeux and France is so contagious. He really made our trip to Bayeux so special and we will remember our time with him forever! We highly encourage you and your family to book with Cedric. You will not be disappointed!Written July 13, 2022
- X2696PRemmaa0 contributionsA blessing!Cedric made our day in Normandy absolutely perfect. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about the sacrifices the Allied soldiers made in Normandy and also shared stories of those who lived it. He took great care of us, making sure we were fed and comfortable. We are so grateful!Written June 4, 2022
- vickil3990 contributionsGreat (long) half-day tourCedric was a lovely guide. He was prompt, relaxed and informative. He was flexible in where he dropped us off and helped us to find a place to eat. The tour, although "half day", was 5.5 hours, and we felt this was perfect as the subject matter of this tour is heavy and emotionally-laden. His interest in the individuals, rather than the strategy of the war was most welcome; although he is well-informed on the details, dates, etc if you want that. He brings a more personal feel to the tour with stories about individuals. Be aware that the payment was also relaxed - billed to our hotel (Hotel Le Bayeux - a lovely little quiet, perfectly located, low-key place with a great breakfast spread) and paid afterward, so don't fret about not having the date nailed down with a payment. We thoroughly enjoyed the day; thank you, Cedric!Written April 24, 2022
- BarbheroRayprincess0 contributionsIt was 1944It still is in how that time affects our world and in Cedric’s presentation. I felt my dad present and his band of the 35th. The thin veil between heaven and earth, those who died then or since still stirs my heart. A mix of facts and Cedric’s passion and gratitude made my trip more than which I prayed for years. I have a new dimension of my hero dad who died on Christmas Day 2010 while we sang silent night that had calmed his fears in years since 1944 Christmas. They all sleep in heavenly peace so far away in 1944. Cedric and others keep their memories bravery sacrifice alive as a today lesson.Written January 6, 2022
- Emily T0 contributionsNormandy with CedricThank you Cedric for a wonderful day in Normandy! This was exactly the tour we needed with loads of history, an excellent driver and time on the beaches. It was especially nice to get time to explore and contemplate in the American Cemetery.Written December 4, 2021
- RobfromWL0 contributionsCedric was greatWe booked this at the last minute with the help of the staff at Hotel LeBayeux and were not sure what to expect. Our private guide Cedric was a local native of the area and obviously grew up, studied and knows his stuff about the Normandy beaches. If you want to get the story from the perspective of someone that appreciates the sacrifices made by others for his country, Cedric will provide it. We did a half day tour tuned to the American beaches and the US cemetery. However he offers full day tours and will do his best to personalize his tour to meet your needs.Written September 22, 2021
- Matt P0 contributionsOutstanding Tour!Cedric is the best! I highly recommend his Normandy tour. He picked us up right on time. We toured all the American sites plus the British harbor and made it to our train right on time. His prices are very reasonable, his knowledge first rate and his customer service outstanding.Written September 2, 2021

- markjosephcayco0 contributionsAmazing, unforgettable experienceI did not plan this trip well. Had an unexpected day off, so I just went. So glad I did! Cedric explained the history, battle tactics, hedgerows. Map overlays. Good stuff. Seeing the grassy fields, bit of muddy areas really makes you think how lucky we are! - I could hear the soundtrack of "Saving Private Ryan" "Band of Brothers" in my head- maybe play that in the vehicle for background ambience? Great experience!Written January 21, 2020
- PKBeach0 contributionsGreat tour guideWe used Cedric for both a half-day D-Day tour, and a tour to Mont St Michel. He was knowledgeable, accommodating and helpful, picking us up from our hotel and helping us in other ways. He is a really nice guy who is sensitive to all the victims of war. The van is comfortable and modern.Written January 16, 2020
- Dmoery0 contributionsNormand Tour and great history lessonThis was an excellent tour. Our guide was knowledgable, friendly and engaging. He even drove us into town and to get sandwiches and got us to our train on time. The tour guide pulled all the history and knowledge of the area together to give a complete picture of an incredible event in history and allowed us to hit all the key beaches and spots. Very special for our family to do this and a highlight of our trip to France.Written January 5, 2020

We got to spend 2 wonderful days in Normandy with Cedric. He was a great guide. His respect for the D-Day veterans was clear and his knowledge of individual stories and military strategies really brought the experience together. In addition to the beaches, we also went to Mont Saint Michel with Normandy Excursions. We would definitely recommend both tours to everyone. Thanks for helping make this an excellent trip Cedric! We appreciated all your attention to detail and knowledge!

The day was as it was expected. Cedric did a great job keeping us on track to see everything in the American sector in one full day but also not feeling rushed at all. The information and stories of individuals involved allowed for additional experience.

We were a group of 4 people visiting Bayeux/Normandy in Mid July 2022. We spent 3 days with Cedric.
Cedric was a wonderful guide for our full day tour of the American Normandy WWII sites. Cedric is very knowledgeable about the Normandy area and the battle facts about the American contributions. At the end of the day, the visit to the American cemetery and his suggestion to visit so that we could hear 'Taps' played at 5pm was a highlight. We learned so much from Cedric!
The next day, Cedric took us to Mont Saint Michele, another fascinating area on the Normandy/Brittany coast. He took us into the Abbey and purchased the tickets for us, then met us after we were finished exploring.
On our last day, Cedric was even able to drop us off at CDG airport for our return flight home! I highly recommend him.

We met up with Cedric early in the morning. He picked us up at our hotel and off we went...there were 7 of us. We went to so many places in Normandy but the most powerful were Utah Beach, Pointe de Hoc, Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery and we ended in Arromanches. Cedric was so knowledgeable and passionate about the D-Day Invasion. He told us many stories and gave us insight into the intensity of battle. I cannot think of a better guide for this amazing site! And all of this was the week before June 6th anniversary.

Thanks to Cedric, our day in Normandy was the highlight of our trip to France. Not only did he accommodate our schedule and help us find lunch, but he also was the greatest tour guide we could have asked for. His knowledge of the events that occurred on D-Day is superlative and his deep respect for veterans is obvious. He was even able to contextualize the experience for us in terms of what our great grandfather (a WW2 veteran) may have experienced when he came through Normandy. I cannot recommend Normandy nor Cedric enough. Thank you!!!!!

Cedric you are a star. The information passed and the way it was delivered were top drawer. You were flexible and adapted to the wishes of the group. The days tour was invaluable and enabled us to get as much understanding as possible and best possible experience from the time available. It would not have been the same without your input.

Cedric made this tour so wonderful. He met our family of 5 at our cruise ship dock for an all day tour. He was prompt and courteous the entire day. We traveled comfortably in his large passenger van. Cedric made this very important day in US history so lovely. He knowledge and explanations were on par and kept our 3 teenagers attention for the entire day. He was respectful of the historic nature and sites. I would highly recommend cedric. Thank you!

We did a full day tour with Cedric. It is very convenient to use a guide in this area if you have limited time. We did was picked up at around 8 AM, and finished 6-7 PM. Cedric is very easy and interesting to talk to, and knows the area very good.
I guess we might not be the easiest crowd to bring, as we are very interested in history from both sides of it. The tour is more or less only based on the allied invation, and has little content of the enemy side. We did miss this, to be able to get both sides of the story. We did get some stories about the germans (Michael Wittmann), and was shown the german cemetery and advice about it, as we wanted to visit the next day. However it is understandable that perhaps most of the customers want to hear the allied side of the story. Cedric used a microphone and speaker in the car so the talking during driving was better, that was great. The sound could even be better and louder, so that people in the back seat get the all details.
It is an impressive day in total, and Cedric did a great job. If you have very specific needs about the tour, I would recommend to agree that up front, if there are parts of the history that you want more focus on, and less on other. There are some tours that has historians as guides, but you would need to book a very very long time ahead.

We hired Cedric as a private guide and spent a full day with him touring the DDAY beaches and visiting the American Cemetery. Cedric was very well informed and focused on individual stories that really brought to life the sacrifices made to liberate France and Europe. It was clear to us that he cares very deeply about this part of our shared history. We also traveled to Mont Saint Michel with Cedric and 3 other people. Once again he was knowledgeable, personable, and easy to get along with. We highly recommend him for these excursions.
