We did this with family and friends. (children 10 - 15). They really enjoyed it and kept them exploring the Lille. Little pieces of information at each stop provided some useful tour guide elements. It took about 1.5 - 2 hours to complete.

Very nice experience. The activity allows you to discover places and monuments in Lille that we would probably never have seen without this application. Family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers, everyone got involved in the game, each with their own progress.

I decided to try the Explorial app with some friends while visiting the city of Lille. We loved it! At our own pace, we got to know the city and places that without the app we wouldn't have known. We learned a little about each place and had a lot of fun. I I highly recommend it!

Information provided was good & interesting. We enjoyed following the clues and answering questions. We were unable to find one of the clues provided & felt information wasn't clear enough about which building was connected to the clue so we lost points for it.

As our family trip to Lille included a holiday when most museums were closed, we used this app to explore the city and inject a bit of lighthearted competition while doing so.
The app allows you to divide in teams (if you want to, it is perfectly possible to be one big team), and sends you to various places around the city to watch and answer a few questions.
Some of these questions are easy, and some of them will test if you paid attention in history class, but they are a good mix of knowing things and searching things. It kept our two kids of 8 and 10 locked in a friendly competition.
There is the occasional photo challenge where you have to find a place and pose in a certain fashion. At the end, you can see all the selfies from the entire team, which makes for a nice memory.
I also discovered that despite having been to Lille multiple times, I still had one or two nice little squares and places I had missed or not paid enough attention to.
Worth noting is that there is no time limit within the day. Stopping for food or drink, or even to have a little shopping interlude is therefore perfectly OK.
So all in all, I'd definitely recommend for people who like to have a casual guide in their pocket, as well as for people who like some competition while doing so!

Quite a nice way to find your way around the old city. We took our time and it lasted about 4 hours, that includes a few beer stops though.

Spotted this on Viator and booked it to do on our weekend break in Lille for the rugby. It was great fun and also taught us bits about the city as we followed the route. Took about 2-4 hours including a stop off for lunch
