Totally worth it!
Jun 2021
PROS: Tons of access; big variety of art, architecture, history - this is a great deal for you! Definitely worth the cost. Easily obtained at any venue it covers - you don’t have to go somewhere else to purchase it.
CONS: Many locations were closed on the days we were there or for renovation, without notification.
Overall: Great value for the cost and we would use it again to visit the other sites that were closed.

I don’t think it’s worth it
Jan 2020 • Friends
I don’t think buying this card did any good for us during our weekend in Paris. It does not give you access to the Eiffel Tower (not even the lousy 1st floor) which is basically the most important symbol of Paris. Also it does not give you Skip the Line right in Versailles which is kind of a big deal since you spend 1 hour waiting in line and only have 2 days to use the card.. it does get you to a faster line in Louvre but it’s the same queue for the people who bought the regular ticket online.. soooo still a big queue. Anyway I think in 2 days you don’t have time to see half of what the card has to offer because 1) there is always a line 2) the monuments are far apart from each other most of the time you can’t walk from one place to the other and have to catch the RER or Metró which makes you waste time in transports. So I recommend you checking for single entrance in each one of the atractions. Pay attention that the Arch de Triumphe has been closing on saturdays due to social movements, this was important and nobody told us that at the ticket office in gare du nord. Actually they didn’t tell us anything useful because the people there don’t speak English and just keep responding to you in French..

Good if you are going to many museums
We want to- first and foremost- wow that this is the Paris Museum Pass, which can be worthwhile and useful and save money- and NOT the Paris Pass, in which one loses money and doesn’t save everyone.

This Paris Museum Pass is as its name states: if they are offering boat rides and metro passes- that’s the wrong one.

Having said that, the two day pass is worthwhile if you will visit at least two covered museums on both of the days.

Do not buy unless your already in Paris and by sellers that can explain all entries and what your paying for. I Bought 3 passes for 4 days and it stated "good up to a year", well got to Paris and they were already expired. Tried to call the number for problems and NO answer. People at the entries to different sites would NOT help saying you should have brought with us can't help you. So disappointed, even had our transportation around Paris on it. Total rip off.

We bought the pass and it generally was a good deal. Very, very disappointed. Although the pass says it is good for the Versailles gardens, the gate keepers of the gardens demanded another E10. They turned a number of people away too. There was no one to talk to help. big let down.

Good way to see the museums and get a free river cruise on Seine around Paris. Only trouble is there are far to many museums to see in 2 days.

Worth buying
Aug 2019
You'll get your money's worth with the variety of museums and monuments to visit. Your waiting time is anywhere from half the time without tickets to no waiting at all depending on the time of day and popularity of venue.

Do not expect the Paris and Museum passes to get you inside faster, Ignore the part about :"Fast-track entry privileges "
Went to the Orsay, Versailles, Louvre and Sainte-Chapelle over a weekend in July 2019. Each location had a special waiting area just for pass holders. Online or window ticket purchases would show up and go in.

Wait Times:
Orsay 65 minutes (20 minute before open to 45 after)
Versailles 2 hours (long hot line weaving in the sun on stone pavers)
Louvre: 3 hours ( 1 hour before open to 2 hour after,) Hundreds with the Paris Museum Pass stood in que to watch those with online tickets be escorted in.
Sainte-Chapelle was only 20 minutes wait, mid-day.

We were never able to use the Metro pass as all RER and Metro stations in the City Centre were closed for renovation.

Good Value, but you may not be able to get admission/skip the line to Orsay or Louvre
Aug 2019
We were advised when purchasing the Museum pass at the airport that we would need to schedule an appointment time at the Louvre in addition to having the Museum Pass. We saw a LOT of Museum Pass holders turned away at the Louvre b/c they didn't have a scheduled entrance time.

Also, the Orsay Museum does not honor the Museum Pass for skipping the line on Tuesdays b/c the Louvre is closed Tuesday and it's their busiest day (at least this was our experience in early August).

If you visit at least 3-4 museums, the pass will usually pay for itself, but the real bonus is being able to skip ahead of the line!
