Jill is an excellent guide and I really appreciated that she went ahead with the tour despite others cancelling so I had an exclusive tour. Jill is very passionate and interested in the history of the Marias, she took me down little alleyways and into parts I would never have discovered on my own and she has plenty of interesting facts and stories to share. Highly recommend.

Jill was our walking guide for the Marais Walking Tour. She was terrific! Jill was very knowledgeable about the history of the Marais, it's inhabitants, architecture, etc. Jill was able to bring us into several historical and cultural sites in the Marais (privately owned) that are not generally open to the public. The Jewish history of the Marais was particularly fascinating; and Jill shared with us a wealth of knowledge, including several restaurants to try in the area. I highly recommend this tour and Jill! Very informative , information presented in an interesting engaging way , covered a lot of areas within Marais Fun Loved this neighborhood - liked being where locals live - went by a concert that had been converted to a large public school and heard the sounds of delight of the students at recess.

Eric was an excellent tour guide!! We booked with Jill who had to cancel at the last minute and sent Eric. Communication during the process was all via email, but details were provided. We ended up being the only people on the tour, Eric asked how long we had, and we replied that we were open all day, so he generously provided us with an amazing 4-hour tour!! Eric was very knowledgeable and covered all the various aspects of the Marais district, giving us so much interesting information on the sites, focusing on our specific areas of interest. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. Unfortunately, we ended after all the stores were closed and forgot to shop at all his wonderful recommendations, oops! It's hard to know what another guide would or would not have showed us, but we were thoroughly pleased with the guidance Eric provided and I highly recommend him. The only downside was the booking process itself. They only take Paypal, which I purposely don't use, and there was no other way to pay. It would be helpful if you could pay by credit card. In general, the communication during the booking process was slow, but we got it done.

We had a wonderful tour with Jill around Le Marais area, main focus on the Jewish history. She is very knowledgeable and her full of life energy is contagious. Our 2 teens found her fun and interesting. She showed us all the great places to eat and showed us some surprise along the way! I recommend this tour with Jill!

I went on the Marais walking tour with Jill yesterday. We started at the beautiful St. Louis and St. Paul church, traveled through 2,000 years of history, explored the Jewish quarter, and ended in the gay district. A full-bodied Marais experience. I was particularly impressed with Jill’s architectural knowledge, a subject about which I know very little. Jill was able to connect the historical events with their physical counterparts. She seemed to know the history of every building, street, house, and store. I felt very lucky to have been matched up with her as my tour guide. Jill took us on an amazing artistic and culinary adventure in Auvers-sur-Oise. We visited all of the requisite Van Gogh spots: Dr. Gachet's house, the chateau, Vincent and Theo's graves, the church, and Auberge Ravoux, where Jill shared her knowledge generously and also fed us a wonderful lunch. Finishing the day with dessert and champagne beside the Oise was a perfect surprise!
