We choose this trip as it was the only way to do Normandy & St Michael in one day. It was quite expensive but for the personnel car, driver, & tour guide it is a fair price. The driver Alex, was great. Courteous & professional the entire day, I felt safe on the ride at all times. Our tour guide was knowledgeable & nice. However, he did fall asleep multiple times in the car & seem have issues with transportation which caused us to loose part of our day to pick him up.

Cyrus was really helpful in advising on the best tour and throughout the process he was really helpful. Roman was our guide for our tour in the Chablis and Burgundy region, he was outstanding. He shared a lot of knowledge on the places we visited as well as the sites on our journey, he took lots of photos for us and was great. We visited 4 wineries, tasted at least 20 different wines. All of the visits to the wineries included tours of the cellars and an explanation of the wine making process. We stopped for a wonderful lunch in Chablis in amazing surroundings. I would highly recommend this tour.

What a perfect day from start to finish! Everything was communicated very clearly about the entire trip. Alexander picked us up at our hotel, and made sure my Mom and I were happy and taken care of all day. You are packing a LOT in, in one day, but you know that going in. This is the perfect trip for people on time constraints who still want to check these places off their bucket list. Such a beautiful, historic experience. Unfortunately, Versailles was closed when we arrived due to security, however our tour guide, Ilia, did an amazing job and we pivoted to Givery and had an amazing experience.

Our small group tour of the Loire Valley, with visits to Chambord, Chenonceau and DaVinci castles, lunch in Amboise and a visit to a winery was beyond amazing! Our tour guide, Ilia, and his driver made the perfect duo for a worry-free and enjoyable ride through the Loire Valley. This tour is a MUST do, for all travelers to Paris. Ilia, our guide, was very knowledgeable and informative, and ready to answer any and all questions we had. Of special note, one member of our party required extra assistance and use of a wheelchair. Ilia went above and beyond and pushed the wheelchair on all types of terrain, to ensure our comfort and enjoyment throughout the trip, We were so grateful for his genuine kindness and his enthusiasm when speaking about the history surrounding the region. As a side note, we had left some items in the Mercedes van, and Ilia went out of his way to return them to our hotel the following day. Ilia and his driver were first-class and we HIGHLY recommend this experience.

The best day trip tour from Paris! Cyrus was so knowledgeable, fun and kind! We learned so much and felt like we saw all the highlights of these beautiful, charming towns. He catered to our needs while staying true to the itinerary and I will never forget this experience. I recommend this to everyone!

We spent a wonderful 2 days visiting the castles of the Loire. The trip was fantastic. Interesting presentation of information, lots of time. Nobody pushed us, we could enjoy the beauty. Thanks for the company and organization.

Amazing history and castles. Guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable about Paris, France and castles. Our plane was delayed and our guide worked with us to be able to see some of the castles after getting a very late start. We can’t wait to come back and see even more castles on the 2 day castle tour.

Monet’s gardens are like stepping into his paintings. One of the most beautiful places I’ve been. We were fortunate enough to be there as the last of the irises were hanging on, the roses were in full bloom and the lily pads had just risen to the surface. Very crowded so try and get there as early as possible but worth it, even if you are sharing with the multitudes. Olga was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and did a good job of helping us get great photos and work around the worst of the crowds. Our favorite wax Vadim, our driver. If the French Presidential detail needs a driver, they should call him. Amazing job in truly insane Paris traffic and never lost his cool. Very very adept at managing other cars, oblivious bikes and pedestrians who weren’t paying attention, construction and morning rush hour in the rain. Bravo to the whole experience!

We had a wonderful day in Giverny. Our guide Olga was well informed and lively and took good care of us. Easy drive in a comfortable car. Highly recommended.

I booked this tour months before our trip to Paris. I booked this tour through Viator in the United States. I had multiple direct emails with Clewel, specifically with Cyrus G. regarding my pickup hotel. Upon arrival in Paris, I had the hotel call Clewel to confirm our trip and pickup hotel. On the day before the tour, with less than 24 hours notice, I receive an email that they are cancelling the trip because their car is in the shop. I had to scramble to find another tour company to take us to Bruges at twice the cost. I found out that my wife and I were the only people signed up for the tour, so I suspect that is why they cancelled. It is hard to believe that a large tour company as Clewel only has one car available. Be aware, this can also happen to you.

Stay away from this company. We booked this tour with a English speaking guide. My French, which is terrible, was better than his English. He was only a driver and knew nothing about the area or World War II. He said he was our guide as well as driver. We asked questions and got one word answers. This company‘s idea of a guide is, “I will pick you up back at the car in 45 minutes. Here is the map.” I cut the tour short and had him return us to Paris. It was a huge disappointment given that I’ve been reading and studying about World War II and the D-Day invasion for many years and was looking forward to a day with a local guide. We missed Mont St Michael due to severe unease with the guide and this company.
