Excellent experience. The driver/guide Philipe was a local gentleman.He was very experienced and knowledgeable . He arrived on time and was polite ,a very good driver and we felt safe in his care. In 2 hours we saw many points of interest in this beautiful city. He took us to a stunning vantage point to view the Eiffel Tower and take photographs. Overall this was an amazing experience and good value for money particularly if your trip is short.I have no hesitation in recommending.

We arranged for a two hour private evening tour of Paris for two couples through Paris Tours Service. We scheduled the tour to begin at 9PM and end at 11PM to experience Paris at night. Our driver (Philippe) picked us up at our hotel (Pullman) right on time in a mini-van. He brought us to every location of interest to us and stopped at every location we wanted. He was born and raised in Paris, spoke English very well and was very friendly and accommodating as well as being a very safe driver. We thought the cost was very reasonable and we were able to experience all the locations of interest to us as well as several others he suggested. Seeing Paris during the daytime is always interesting but experiencing it when it is all lit up in the evening is spectacular. We were very pleased with our experience.

Recently we had a private guided tour to Versailles and our guide was Phillipe. He was extremely knowledgeable about Versailles and French history that the time just flew by. I would highly recommend his services.

We booked a morning tour of Paris and afternoon tour of Versailles. Phillipe was so knowledgeable and explained everything about the sights in detail. We are a family of 4 and Phillipe was able to keep not only the adults interested but also 14 and 16 year old boys engaged all day. You will not be disappointed.

We were a group of eight seniors traveling together. Philippe was our guide and did a fantastic job of showing us the sites and telling us the history of what we were seeing. We hired him for an afternoon trip to Versailles,minus the lines, a morning tour of the Paris sites including stops to take pictures, transportation to the Bateau Mouches for a dinner cruise and transport to the train station to catch the chunnel to England. He was charming, helpful an entertaining. I would recommend him and thus his company who had the good fortune to hire him to any age group.

My husband and I were in Paris with a group tour. We wanted to have an evening at the Moulin Rouge, so booked transportation and reservations through Paris Tours Service on our own. It couldn't have been better. The driver was prompt and courteous, and delivered us and picked us up, just as promised. Also had great seats for the show. We were more than satisfied with the experience!

Seven of us had one morning to see Paris. Paris Tours service filled our needs. Phillipe picked us up at our Hotel and drove us all around. We saw all the sites we wanted and had two stops...one at the Eiffel Tower and one at Notre Dame. My husband has limited mobility and stayed in the van with Phillipe and he was was really kind. He was terrific with answers to all our questions. He used a small mike so everyone in the van could hear him....very professional. I highly recommend Paris Tours Service.

We booked a private tour of the Palace of Versailles. We felt the price was very reasonable for our group of 4. Philippe picked us up at our apartment and gave us a wonderful tour of the palace. He was very friendly, informative and professional. This tour was scheduled on our first day in Paris, so in addition, he answered many questions and gave us excellent tips for our stay. We highly recommend this service and would certainly use them again.

In August I signed up for the 12 hour tour of Verdun, Marne and Argonne Forest battlefields. The tour which was basically private with only one other traveler was by private comfortable auto. The guide was extremely knowledgeable. He actually took the time to locate and then drive me to the spot where a member of my family was killed in WW I. The $273 price is well worth the cost. The tour covers much more than is advertised on the Web site.

Never book tours with France.com We booked full day tour for 8.30 hours but they finished in 6.15 hours. Instead 8.15 tour started at 9am. They stopped briefly at 2 places. Didn't allow even to click at other places. Couldn't see or photo anything from inside. Guide was mostly speaking in an alien language and very less in English.

We had a private tour in the morning. Driver showed up on time in a nice minivan. Gave a good description of the areas we were driving through. Was great to get to Giverny early and have access through the group line. We were able to get in at 9 vice 9:30 with general admission. The extra half hour was work it as it was less crowded in the Japanese Garden.

I had a fantastic tour of the city sites for about 3 hours, my guide was prompt, reliable, friendly and super knowledgeable. I certainly finished the tour smarter than when I started. And it was great to do on the first day as it made the remainder of my stay so much easier to navigate. Well worth the money.

My husband and I booked the morning tour to the Château de Versailles & the tour company never turned up! A representative emailed 5 or so minutes after they were due to pick us up saying we had not confirmed in time so nobody was coming (I had confirmed straight away the day before - apparently they expected two confirmations!!). If this was really necessary why did nobody call us? All they did was offer us a 1:15pm time slot instead but that did not suit our plans, not to mention we were all ready to go. Don't bother booking with them - it's easy enough to get to by train if you're staying in Paris & they give you free audio guides once you arrive.
