About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- IndefiniteGuest0 contributionsWhere is the Philosopher's stone? My wife & i had a lot of fun investigating the secret of Arsene Lupin ! The activity let's you explore the opera into further details. The organising team was great and helpful, although the ending could have been better in my opinion. Overall a great experience for us to see L'opera Garnier in a different light. Also, as you'll be the last group left in the Opera, it creates a great photo moment with nobody around !Written September 2, 2024
- MNRLVEU0 contributionsGreat sound & light show in a historical setting. This was an enjoyable light and sound show with a little history included. The lighting and effects were impressive and scattered throughout the area allowing you to check out other areas. A good show and different way to enjoy such a beautiful place. It does not have any toilets which is something to consider before arriving.Written August 10, 2024
- 149laurynf0 contributionsUsed these tix to get inside, game was Meh.The Palais is incredibly gorgeous, but we only booked these tickets to get inside because the regular tickets were booked up. The game was definitely hard & took time, and way more concentration than we were up for on vacay.Written August 5, 2024
- M8962QHalir0 contributionsNOT for non-French speakersSadly, this was in French-only. We waited through the initial actor's speech and clarified with him that there was no possibility of an English translation, and then we left. 120 Euros down the drain for the four of us.Written August 4, 2024
- MadeleineMSS0 contributionsSold as suitable for English Speakers - Not True! While the Opera is stunning and I'm sure the activity would have been interesting had my family spoken French, it was a big disappointment. I wrote in advance to be sure that the game could be played if someone only spoke English and they said YES. This is NOT true at all. I speak French well and first the crowds were very big and the space very noisy so even in French it was hard to hear the introductions to the game and the actors telling the background story. Then I had to try to translate for my parents because the actors said they could not do so in English even though I had been told in advance before I booked that the game was suitable also for only English-Speakers. From then on it was worse and worse. All the materials were only in French and most of the helpers could not translate into English either. One did help us a bit but it took a lot of time and none of the main actors setting the scene and the beginning and end and the discovery at the end my parents understood nothing. It was not fun for us and we should have gotten a refund. Also complicated to find the correct entrance. We first went to the main entrance and all the way through security before then going on the other side and almost missing it. Need to be CLEAR that this is not suitable for English speakers and don't take our money - it's a waste for us. Also clarify the entrance and meeting points and have smaller groups.Written July 16, 2024
- sushirsch0 contributionsWhen you go, be sure to know where to meet and what language the game will be played in….I was at the appointed location on time. No one showed. I stumbled on to an entrance around the block to learn that the game was in French. I had signed up for the game in English….My French is not good enough so I didn’t play. They did give me a refund so that was good. And I went to Galeries Lafayette which is within easy walking distance so all was not lost!Written June 16, 2024
- BackPacker7710390 contributionsDon’t waste your money if you don’t speak French!Nowhere in this description did it mention that this activity would not be available in English. What a waste of money if you don’t speak French. This needs to be clearly marked in your description. So disappointing. I would have just paid for entry with the self guided English audio tour.Written June 10, 2024
- samuelmJ1122ZG0 contributionsFantastic light and music experienceVisited with with my wife and two daughters (15 and 11). Wonderful experience, the coordination of the lighting and the music was very effective. At 50 minutes it is well timed. Very immersive and well thought through experience. Highly recommend.Written April 1, 2024
- Lucy N0 contributionsGood value and interesting for sports loversThis was really good value for money. We booked it as we knew our football mad 10 year old would enjoy it but we actually also found it really interesting, particularly to hear/ see what they are preparing for the Olympics. The guide was really knowledgeable and it was just about the right length to keep everyone’s interest. The only criticism was there was little information on getting there and what you did on arrival. It was luck that we found a member of staff who told us what gate to enter and then once we found that, it was pretty confusing where you had to go to start the tour. Allow plenty of time!Written March 27, 2024
- Xavier D0 contributionsDispute désappointement the show is located in a respectful and splendid monument, it could be appreciated by all ages.No facilities around the events, no drinks, no toilet. The show was just about, excepting much better accordingly to international advert campaigns. Light show and music could be more in accord with the monumentWritten March 20, 2024
- jonathans280 contributionschange your attitude!ok - great to see the place but the guide was too busy for us and kept complaining that we needed to go faster because he had another trip elsewhere after ours. Locked on visitor in the entrance to the stadium and tried to get everyone to wait 90 to the end of the visit for the toilets. Complained when 5-6 of the group just "had to go". Not a tennis player nor fluent english speaker for an english-speaking tour, talked to the group whilst with his back to the group, and showed only one member of the group the re-fitted changing rooms, leaving the rest wondering why she was the lucky one!?! Some tweaks would make it a much better experience, and a change in attitude would work wonders for improving customer satisfaction.Written March 19, 2024
- 678melissae0 contributionsCompletely captivating and beautifulThis immersive experience was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Utterly mesmerizing and incredibly moving. Even my teenage sons were enthralled. Definitely the standout of our time in Paris!Written March 16, 2024

- Claire B0 contributionsFabulous well thought out and presented showA fabulous evening. The thought that’s gone into the lighting and music was brilliant. All of the lighting/strobe effects had meaning (despite previous comments from those who clearly didn’t get it) and as far as we were concerned there was no ‘wasted’ time - it was all very well thought out. I would have happily watched it all again - can’t recommend enough!!Written February 26, 2024

A very interesting visit, really excellent, during which we learn a lot about the betrayals, murders and other morbid facts of the history of Paris. These range from Catherine de Medici to Jacques Mesrine, and the many anecdotes will greatly enrich your knowledge of the history of the capital. Add to that a simply awesome (Lionel) Guide. You won't see time pass.

Good time spent with family, a pleasant visit to Paris, punctuated by stories and anecdotes about criminal stories linked to the places in front of which we stood. However, we found this very historical and not at all addressed "the assassins of this century" as stated in the description. Interesting outing but not really what we expected: it was more about the story of the transformation of Paris by the kings of France and their tragic ends, than a gripping story about the great criminals to this day.

The tour was very interesting and we learned some things HOWEVER it was not what we ordered.
Indeed we were to have a visit to the major criminals of Paris, we only talked about Ravaillac, Philippe le Bel, Cartouche and the 2 killers of rue Canonesse.
Where are the criminals of this century?
Here is what is described on your site: By making headlines, great figures have emerged from the shadows to inspire writers and filmmakers. Lacenaire, Cartouche, Mesrine… During this visit they will rub shoulders with lesser-known actors, but who have each made the capital shiver.
We were looking forward to this visit, too bad.
