Despite the fact that this was not my first time in Paris, Anna discovered new beautiful places for me and told many interesting stories about the city. Our guide Anna (Anya) was wonderful! Funny and extremely knowledgeable, she gave an enlightening and creepy tour of the center of Paris that kicked off our first day in this ancient city. Norte Dame was especially surprising! After the tour, she even gave us all personal dining tips around the city. Thank you, Anna, for a spicy introduction to Paris!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the tour.
Very informative, a bit spooky and the more modern day stories were down right terrifying.
Our guide Morgan really knew his stuff and was able to guide us safely through the city streets.
He was also genuinely passionate about everything and even took the time to pop into the mini groups to have a chat and give a little story each which added a nice personal touch.
It was however pouring down with rain when we started the tour and the lack of flexibility when it came to cancelling or rescheduling was a bit disappointing but totally understandable.
Overall we had a fantastic time and would recommend this tour to anyway brave enough to venture it.

We went on this tour with Sebastian as our guide and he was wonderful. The tour was extremely informative, interactive, and fun. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to know more about the dark & mysterious underbelly of Paris (and if you like creepy ghost stories with a side of history).

SO good - Morgan was a delight, so knowledgeable and spins a yarn with great aplomb! We were thrilled to immerse ourselves in the dark streets of Paris. Even in January the night was mild and the streets of Paris welcomed us to her dark macabre. The stories were interesting, the sights incredible, Morgan was able to answer so many questions beyond even the sights designated on the route and his insights and storytelling techniques keep everyone engaged. We were so sad when the tour ended and wished it could have lasted all night, i imagine Paris has so much more to reveal. Make time when you are in Paris for this activity its so wonderful and you will experience the night in Paris that few take the chance to see!

Sebastian was a great story teller with information on the more gory side of Paris. He showed areas where the stories happened and used images to help illustrate the information he was telling us. He was engaged with the crowd and was always willing to answere questions.
Sebastian (and Lilly) both proved a great evening's entertainment. He was also very helpful in telling us about different local places to visit on our trip which we would not have thought of during our stay.

The tours started on time and its was a simple check in process. Our guide was actually hilarious, the tour itself was about an hour and 30 mins. There is quite a bit of walking involved but it is a walking tour. The stories were actually interesting and at the same time horrific, my wife and I really enjoyed this, there are some pictures that you are shown of some of the stories they tell…. You need a pretty strong stomach.

Great start to the holiday. Sebastian the tour guide was full of interesting stories/fun facts and could tell very passionate about the history of Paris. Definitely recommend to see the darker side of France.

I hate to be the naysayer here. Unfortunately, the Darkest Secrets of Paris tour was disappointing. I don't fault Jade, our guide - he was charming and showed remarkable sensitivity to the children on the tour (who were far too young for the content, as would anyone be who is not at least 15-16 or so at the youngest). I fault the marketer. This is marketed as a "spooky ghost stories tour." It was, instead, a tour filled with graphic, gore-heavy stories. My adult daughter, who accompanied me, has been a ghost tour guide for four years, in Boston and London; we were looking forward to learning about the ghosts of Paris. Instead, she was left nauseated by the graphic stories involving torture and femicide which make up a significant portion of the tour. If that is your thing, and many on the tour seemed unfazed, then you may find the tour interesting. Paris, of course, is beautiful by night. But buyer beware.

If you read the description properly, it’s not the ghost tour.

You will hear about supernatural places and creepy legends from the ghosts to the mysterious 'Vampire of Montparnasse'. We will visit the strangest murder spots and, if we are lucky enough, we will see a real ghost! ;) Just kidding. »

Great history of Paris, a great way to explore the city and hear of less known stories. We really enjoyed the walking tour, and the guide was engaging and funny. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you, one more question please…is it ok to buy tickets for my teenagers? I only see adult tickets.

So the content is quite adult - there’s a lot of gore (including some photos that are reasonably graphic) and some sexual references. Not really extreme but I guess it depends on what you are comfortable with your teens seeing. If they are older it might be fine. Maybe email them and ask? it’s a really good tour though.
