We booked the champagne tasting cruise on the Seine. The champagnes were good, the presenter was outstanding, and the views of Paris were lovely!

The tasting was informative and a lot of fun. I recommend doing it with the meat and cheese board if you can. You are told a lot about wine in general and French wine history by a sommelier.

I was hoping for more history than champagne lessons. We couldn't hear the tour guide over the sommelier. Small pours for some just OK champagnes. The river view of the city is a great angle that was lovely. We couldn't hear the tour guide over the sommelier. Next time we'll pass on this and just buy our own alcohol.

Lovely trip. Great tasting and tour. We saw the sites of Paris while sipping bubbles. Our guide was knowledgeable too.

When I did this tour in 2022 with my husband, the group enjoyed access to the entire boat - no other groups were on board. The hostess addressed us as a group (not several small groups) and created a sense of camaraderie among all our fellow passengers. Here we were herded on away from the “regular” tourists to (only) the front of the boat, our nice host explained the champagnes a little as he poured them to individual groups, not as a whole, and we couldn’t here the commentary of the sights we were passing in the Seine. Beautiful evening, but not enough outdoor seating (had my elderly dad with me) and it was hot indoors. Nice concept but my first experience was better.

Great views of Eiffel Tower, louvre, and Norte dame on the beautiful sienne. The tour was intimate and our guide Baptiste was very knowledgeable about any questions we had. Informative, but not overly so. The champagne was also delicious

Paid money for an hour of confusion and frustration. Hard to find the location since there are no specific signs from the tour operator. You have to wait in the same line as the regular cruise, which seems to fill up 30mins before the departure time. We were there 15-20mins before departure and were confused, looking for any sign with the name of the tour operator. Finally got in the long line for the cruise but couldn’t even make it to the front before they stopped letting people on. While we were unsure about the line, we called the phone number provided on the ticket and they did not help. The boat left while we were still waiting in the queue. Asked the person at the counter for help, he said this happens all the time and asked me to contact the company to reschedule the cruise. The operator was extremely slow to respond, couldn’t provide a spot in the next few days and refused any refund.

Terrible experience with this river cruise. The company and the people are rude and difficult to work with.

My mom and I loved our Seine champagne tour! This tour was more intimate than the regularly scheduled one, and we learned a lot about both the wines and the surrounding landscape. Highly recommend.

This was a fun cruise! I came here with my wife and friends. We got to sit up front of the boat. Our Sommelier was fun and friendly and she spoke English very well. The champagnes were so good! I would do this experience again if I am in Paris. We had great views of the city on the Seine. Book ahead and come early!

This really was a great experience. You get to sit upap-front on the boat away from the crowds so you can properly take in the views. I loved all 3 champagnes and our host was incredible friendly and knowledgeable. The slight downside we experienced was that it was hard to know where to board from but I don't think this was the fault of the host company O Chateau but rather Trip Advisor, as everyone else on the booking had no problems. Also we were meant to have some kind of separate ticket not just the one Trip Advisor sent us so this in some thing Trip Advisor should look into. It was a brilliant experience, I would highly recommend

I don't often leave reviews, but this experience needs a proper Thank You. This was as educational as it was fun -- I truly learned and have a new appreciation for French wines. But there was nothing stuffy about it. Preston, our somm for the day, had a great way of teaching and explaining as we went. And the pours are beyond generous for the amount. As a bonus, the experience (and wine in general, of course!) were so communal, we ended up making the best vacation friends.

Honestly, I was expecting this to be a bit tacky and tourist trappy, but I was so wrong! It was one of the highlights of our week in Paris. Lily, our sommelier, was great. She was funny, engaging, unpretentious and shared so much information with us about the wines and the regions they came from. It was such a fun evening. The wines were delicious and I would also recommend taking up the cheese and charcuterie options - yummo! The wine bar itself is really nice too, so after the tasting I'd suggest heading upstairs (the tasting is downstairs in a cellar) and soaking it all in. It's a really pleasant place to spend an evening.

The French are proud of their wine. They deserve it. The wine was so good. I don’t have words to describe it. We did the Tour of France wine tasting. Clement, our sommelier, was excellent. He was entertaining as he was knowledgeable. They gave us a color coded map of France and he explained why the wines from each region tasted the way they did and the different processes that go into growing the grapes and creating the various wines. We elected to get the cheese and meat plates as well. Sigh. The cheese. I actually took notes on my map and Clement talked to new a bit afterward so I could find the cheese. Americans kind of crack on the French for their attitude about their wine and cheese. I’m here to tell you they deserve that pride. It is unbelievable!

Excellent and intimate experience. We were ushered to a charming wine cellar to do the tasting. Our guide was so incredibly knowledgeable and encouraged questions and discussion. I can’t wait to flex some of what I learned next time I have wine with friends! Also, be sure to spring for the full cheese plate. The mixed meat and cheese plate was great, but the full cheese plate had more variety of cheeses to pair with the wines.
