        Interesting but not exceptional
One very hot August day we got there at 9am which meant an early start from Paris which was a good thing as it was very hot inside by the time we left. The Palace it self seld isninterating and grand to see but having been to the Louvre the day before many of the rooms were very similar. The hall of mirrors is good. The gardens are extensive but one of the main features is all the fountains. In August they were all switched off, but no discount for that which felt little of bit of a of sharp practice.

Disappointing! Cheat! Most real rooms are closed to visitors. Only those who pays a private and guided tour can see.
Disappointing! Cheat! Most real rooms are closed to visitors. Only those who pays a private and guided tour can see it. Those who haven't studied/know the history of Versailles might be content with what little they show. Those who are interested in history not. You just can't see the rooms of Montespan, Felipe, Maintenan, Colbert, Pallatina, Livving Room, Jail, Chappell, Opera. Anyway, no real Versailles. You can only visit a corridor of paintings mounted along the left wing and basically the room of mirrors. In addition, the French are extremely rude and uneducated.

Expedia and Disney need to do a better job with their ticketing
Awful experience getting into the Park with Expedia bought tickets - poor explanation of what is required on the Expedia tickets (“just proceed to the turnstile” - yes, the customer service turnstile which has massive queues and no mention of having to register your tickets with Disney park booking beforehand) . The park was good although it wasn’t fully up to speed post Covid eg no fireworks and only a small parade. Photo below is of the onlythree desks available for customer service where you have to go with Expedia tickets - massive queues obviously which delayed us by an hour.

        Skip the line!
A wonderfully delightful visit to the palace the last day of the music in the gardens and the flowers were still blooming in spite of the chill in the weather!

        Poor treatment of people
We had gone on 17 th July to see the palace. We took metro and RER-C and reached around 11.15 am. We stood in the long queue for 1 hr 15 minutes in the hot son. It’s been a tourist place quite sometime now . But still just one counter for people to enter even with online tickets. Only for groups they had another entrance. No shade . Very poor management. People were cutting the line. When the palace is earning so much revenue from visitors at least some consideration to be given towards people’s welfare. Even though we had paid to visit another palace Trianon, we had no patience or energy to visit it. Briefly visited the garden and returned back to the hotel. Wasted the amount paid towards its ticket. I strongly recommend people to go either early that’s before 9 or after 3pm to avoid the queue. No doubt the palace is magnificent. But if the people are treated so poorly I wouldn’t recommend visiting the place.
