We booked this on a day that was available and it was confirmed. A few days before the tour, the guide contacted us and gave us the option of 2 days when we were not there. We cancelled since the guide was not available on the date we selected.

This was an amazing tour! Our meeting place was the Porte Dauphine Metro Station. Our guide was an expert in WW2 history. We learned about one of the darkest chapters in Paris history—and followed in the footsteps of French Resistance members as they defied Nazi occupation. The stories are moving, tales of the bravest of brave. We visited landmarks like the Champs-Élysées (the Gestapo offices were located here), the Place de la Concorde (where you can see bullet holes dating from the liberation), and the Arc de Triomphe (one of the most famous monuments in Paris, standing at the western end of the Champs-Élysées). A great day - Paris in the rain (a light rain) didn't stop us from seeing these amazing WW2 sites.

My wife and I had the most amazing private tours with Vincent. We did both an all-day private walking tour of Paris and a half-day private tour of Versailles. We can say without hesitation that Vincent was the BEST tour Guide that either my wife or I ever had, in any location, of any kind. Truly one of a kind. Vincent has a passion for what he does, and it shows. The level of knowledge was exceptional, as was his ability to relate what we were seeing in both a historical and modern-day context. When anyone asks my wife what the best part of our 2-week France trip was, she answers — without hesitation — that it was the all-day walking tour of Paris. We saw all the things you’d expect to see (Louvre, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower) but so much more that we would have never seen without Vincent. Which isn’t to say that the Versailles tour was anything but wonderful. We got unique insights to the building, grounds, and the French royalty that have made the place famous. We cannot recommend Vincent more highly enough!

I had a wonderful time on the Awesome Guide French Needle Normandy tour. Vincent took care of everything for us and went above and beyond. Everything was so well planned and I feel like I don't have to worry about a thing. Vincent is great at describing the sites and history of the places we visit. I also really appreciate that he makes a special effort to find something for us vegetarians to eat when we go out, which can be tough! Merci beaucoup!

I did not fully understand how much a pilgrimage to France Would change my heart and enrich my Roman Catholic faith. The History of France and of the Catholic Church as well as the lives of many of the saints such as, St. Terese and her parents St. Louis and St. Zellie, St Catherine Laboure and St. Bernadette was brought to life by an amazing tour guide, Vincent Lauferont. The depth and passion conveyed in the accounts of history as told to us by the tour guide was amazing. Not only was Vincent exceptionally knowledgeable about French history and the lives of the saints, he also personalizes the 10 day trip to accommodate the needs of many of the pilgrims. He not only secured Wheelchairs for the needs of some but he was compassionate assuming responsibility for pushing the wheelchair on one occasion from Mont Saint Michele across the bridge to the bus. For me, I had a desire to keep up my running schedule while abroad so Vincent creates an opportunity to run with me along the path of St Bernadette from Bartrès to Lourdes; how amazing is that? I don’t think I will ever be satisfied with another tour guide after having Vincent. If I could have it my way, I would want this talented young guide to accompany me on all of my future excursions. I attribute much of the success of the pilgrimage to divine intervention as well as to the A++ talent of our tour guide who made French history come alive in the 21st century!

I have been home two weeks and still can’t stop sharing with others all the exciting adventures from our pilgrimage with Vincent in France! Vincent had such a vast knowledge of each and every stop in Lisieux, Paris and Lourdes and his enthusiasm was infectious. His presentation style pulled you in as if you were part of the story, never a dull moment . He loves what he does and it shows! We had a wide range of ages in our group and he did a wonderful job keeping everyone interested and together with a joyful smile on his face. I have been to France three times in the last 4 years and spent a week with Vincent each time with a group of about 10-12 people. There isn't a question he doesn't know the answer to and he will remember everything about you. I wish I could take him with me on all my trips. Our group used Awesome Guide for a trip to Germany, France, and Switzerland for a "500th Anniversary of the Reformation Tour." Our guide Vincent was amazing, he is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and did everything possible to make sure our group was having a good time. We visited castles, cathedrals, villages, took a Rhine river cruise, hiked the Alps, and even enjoyed some wine tasting in Germany. I have just finished the 21days trip held by Don Francesco from Hong Kong to France and Greece. I enjoyed the trip very much. I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude to our tour manager, Vincent because of his good preparation, well management and time control. During the trip we had some accidents, my friend fell down and required hospital treatment. My family name wrongly typed that needed negotiation with the airline staff. He settled them smoothly with his professional skill and knowledge. I was deeply impressed by his caring to two elderly members. One is too fat to walk. Vincent carried her luggage through the whole trip. The other knows no English but can speak Putonghua. He knows a bit Putonghua and tried his best to tell her what she has seen. Though he paid special attention to them, we did not feel being neglected. It gave me the impression we are friend. He combines the in depth knowledge and organization skills of many excellent guides with a boundless joy that made each day an adventure. He seemed to be as excited at the attractions he showed us as we were, even though he had not doubt seen it all before. 30 masterpieces in two hours in the Louvre, Mount St. Michael, Lyon, it was all great. We needed an abbreviated tour of Paris including the Louvre so we luckily got matched up with Vincent Lauferon. We had a few in our group who weren't that interested in museums or history so it was tough to keep their attention. He kept our group interested and connected the whole time. I was in Paris recently with a small group for 10 days. Vincent was our guide and because of him Paris and its' history came more alive for me. Every detail of our tour was meticulously attended to and it was perfect. I saw things and learned things about Paris that i would never have on my own. Vincent's knowledge and passion for Paris and it's past were evident throughout the time we were with him. His sense of humor was a wonderful addition to an already great tour.
