We saw so many sites in Paris that we wouldn't even know existed unless we took this tour. It began to downpour near the end of our tour, and we hid out under one of the bridges on the river and got to learn much more about the city. Truly a memorable experience with a very knowledgable and friendly guide!Written June 12, 2024
- traveler5080 contributionsGreat way to see the city!My husband and I started our Paris trip with this great bike tour. You never forget how to ride a bike and what a wonderful way to see the city. This was a highlight of our 5 nights in Paris, a wonderful way to view the city and also a great break for your weary feet. This was a 3 hour tour and our guide Andrais (spelling, sorry) did a great job giving us history and insight about our stops and Paris.Written May 6, 2024

The guide was very knowledgeable, and each stop included interesting information and photographs about the surrounding buildings and history. The cycling infrastructure was excellent, making this very safe and comfortable. The pace was easy to stay with. It would be particularly good to do this tour at the beginning of a holiday in Paris, as it provides a very good starting point on all the things you might like to explore further. - Abbie W0 contributionsGreat tour, met expectations! Nice bikes! This biking tour met my expectations! I wanted to see a lot of the city and we sure did! Biking the streets of Paris is serious business! I never knew there were traffic signs for bikes! All of our bikes were very nice and in excellent condition. They didn’t have my reservation when I arrived, but they eventually found it. We rode just over 8 miles in about 3 hours. Our guide was a little hard to understand at times, but loved his city, it’s history and current life! We saw and learned a lot!Written March 22, 2023

Paul was a great guide- he shared a lot of interesting historical and contemporary information about Paris without being overly didactic. He was a a fun and friendly guide. The bike tour, which was easy biking, covered a lot of ground though the city, was a definite highlight of the trip!

This was the highlight of our three day visit to Paris. Frederique was an amazing guide. Clearly passionate and enthusiastic about the rich history of the city. It was great to see both the major attractions and the side streets. I highly recommend bike tours as a way to see a major city and this tour was particularly enjoyable. Our group was three middle aged women and the biking was easy and fun.

We had a fantastic bike tour with Francesca. She helped us get sorted with the bikes & was friendly, knowledgeable, and informative, all while making the experience great fun. She answered our questions and tailored the tour to match our specific interests. It was very cold so she adapted the stops and added a cafe stop to warm up. It was exactly what we were looking for— off-the-beaten-path highlights and good historical overview plus tips for return visits for further exploration which we followed up. 5 stars – highly recommended!

We've been to Paris a few times already and thought it might be interesting to discover some less know hidden gems and some history on this bike tour. The bikes were fantastic, the meeting point easy to find and our guide was nice too, seemed really knowledgeable, but we could feel like we were just another group of many, not worth to get to know. The route was not respected, as a few things were added, others left out. The stories told were quite boring, more like a history lesson in high-school than fun facts, interesting stories and recommendations. I was disappointed driving through the Jewish quarter, getting told stories about the architecture but having to point to the evident by asking about the commemorative plaques as yes, they definitely have to be mentioned. Why not give out a good falafel place recommendation or, while visiting the "oldest café in Paris", tells us where you'd recommend us the best hot chocolate to drink (which according to me is in the same street). The tour lacked those personal touches. Too bad!
Also : if you don't know Paris and are looking for a fun way to get to know Paris and see some of the highlights, I'd definitely recommend a bike tour ... just not this one.

Fantastic bike tour for travellers who have previously visited the main attractions and now want to see some other interesting areas. Our tour consisted of 7 adults and was led by Frank, our friendly and knowledgeable guide. The 3 and a half hour tour was leisurely and had plenty of stops, suitable for all abilities. We have done several bike tours during our many visits to Paris and would definitely recommend it. Lots of fun!

We took the “Paris Nooks & Crannies Bike Tour” — and it was one of the best bike tours we’ve taken. Very comfortable ride route with frequent stops to hear some history and background on each spot. Our guide was very good, great English skills and very friendly. The best thing about this tour was that we traveled on small backstreets and alleys, giving us a chance to enjoy the city and the ride. And discover the little details of its history that you can only get off the beaten path. Amazing.

Meeting Romeo was easy, he was delightful and explained everything we needed to know about safety and cycling in Paris which was reassuring. We had a small, mixed group who were delightfully chatty and made cycling to discover the hidden gems of the city that much more interesting. The bikes were in good condition and aesthetically very pleasing in pastel shades of blue and green.
The information imparted to us was always pertinent and fascinating - engaging and quirky. It is also really nice to be able to focus on the architecture and street life as you pedal through a city without having to worry about getting lost! There were a few major roads we had to cross, but cyclists have the right of way, so traffic was less intimidating than you might imagine and Romeo was very confident as he took charge - but mostly we cycled on back roads and through tiny alleys we wouldn't have found on our own.
One of the highlights of our trip! Highly recommended.

We had a great time! Our guide, Paul, was amazing: informed, funny, and patient with great insight on the city and had answers to any and all questions asked. Cannot recommend this tour enough. Even our 16 year old loved it ; )

Frederick was fabulous! He provided a really educational tour and this is a great way to see Paris and learn some history. The only reason I gave it a 4 and not 5 is because we wished we had stopped a little less and biked a little more. There was a lot to see and learn so you end up stopping about every few blocks which made it a little hard with teens who have a short attention span! But overall a great fun family time we would recommend as a different way to experience the city!

I have a ten year old son who loves biking in the various cities we visit. Is the minimum wage really 13? He would be able to fit on an adult bike.
