Skip the Line Magnificent Louvre Tour in Paris
From $81.03

Head straight into the home of the Mona Lisa with this skip-the-line tour of the world's largest art museum. Once inside, your local art historian guide will provide you with background about some of the Louvre's most stunning pieces of art. Expect to see masterpieces by the likes of Da Vinci, Raphael, Veronese, Titian, and Botticelli, not to mention the French Crown Jewels.

What to Expect
The Mystery of Mona Lisa’s Smile
Why is the Mona Lisa so famous? Leonardo da Vinci’s famous portrait of Lisa Gherardini, titled  Mona Lisa, is one of the best-known works of art in existence.

Raphael & Leonardo Da Vinci
Leonardo da Vinci was a true genius and among the most influential artists who ever lived, leaving a significant legacy in the realms of art and science, with each discipline informing the other. The  Mona Lisa is not his only work of art inside the Louvre, and your tour guide will show you more of the  Da Vinci collection, part of the iconic  Italian Renaissance collection. Besides Leonardo, the Louvre contains work by Renaissance artist  Botticelli, master of the 16th Century Venetian school  Titian, grand-scale artist  Veronese, the playboy  Raphael and much more.

Jacques-Louis David - Napoleon’s Personal Painter
Although there are many  Italian Renaissance masterpieces in the Louvre, you'll also see French masterpieces.  After all, you are in France! Visit works by  Jacques-Louis David, Napoleon's personal painter, and  Eugène Delacroix. Some of the paintings in the Louvre measure 20 feet tall! The word "impressive" doesn't do these works justice.

Sculptures of the Louvre
The Louvre is not only packed with paintings. The museum also houses many iconic sculptures. Of all the works in the Louvre, the  Winged Victory of Samothrace and the  Venus de Milo are among the most admired. You'll also admire the mythological  Sleeping Hermaphroditus, a "life size" sculpture carved by Bernini.

The Crown Jewels of France
Did you know that the Louvre is a former royal palace? With such a strong link to royalty, a visit to the Louvre is incomplete without a visiting the Crown Jewels. The surviving  French Crown Jewels are mainly on display in the  Galerie d'Apollon of the Louvre

First at the Mona Lisa!

Josephine was the best guide. She knew a lot of secret things about paintings and statues. We got in before the crowds, which was totally worth it. A++++++++++++
