Very interesting tour that goes behind the scenes of the gallery Lafayette. You get to learn about the history of the place, and see some really cool things before the shops are open.

The pick up place was confusing. We were few minutes late as it was the first time for us to go to the department store. Nobody was there to guide and no associate nearby seem to know where to join. We lost our money and precious time in paris. When I wrote to the organizer, I received email that looked like broken codes. I’m sure they accommodate many English-spoken people, but they respond email that is not English friendly. If it was a different language I could have used the google translate.

The company cancelled my booking as "minimum numbers are not met". I've planned a whole day of my holiday around this class and for them to cancel 3 days before is unacceptable. I dont care if the minimum numbers are not met, the class should still go ahead. Ridiculous and unacceptable behaviour towards customers. And to top it off, this holiday is to celebrate an engagement, my partner has always wanted to learn how to make macarons as its her favourite. Im so disappointed that she won't be able to now.

We’d booked for one vegetarian on the course and were told at the start that they were only doing a chicken dish. The chef was not prepared to try and accommodate the vegetarian. No real teaching or explanation or help. The chef just prepared the dish and we had to follow the best we could.. I asked for red wine to accompany the lunch and was told only white would be served. When i eventually persuaded the chef to let me have red i given given a very small glass and told that was all I was allowed. In the meantime my wife and two friends had a bottle of white left for them. All in all a very poor experience. Definitely not worth the money or the time Not recommended

The instructor premade the checks, since the class was too short. She showed us how to make them, but would have preferred to make my own. We then made the ganache for inside. The class was a mix of adults and kids, would have preferred a more hands on class.

I took the macaron making class which was fun and enjoyable. The instructor was great, she did an amazing job going through tips and tricks and was super supportive of everyone learning and asking questions. The macarons were delicious and I enjoyed the experience.

My wife and I are not shoppers but this store is an architectural gem. The view from the main floor to the blue glassed cupola 7 floors up is jaw dropping. The displays are beautiful. The view from the roof top Paris of the Opera and the Eiffel Tower is one of the best. The food in the 6th floor Cafe Lafayette was reasonable and had a great salad bar and a fruit bar among many other options. Worth the visit but would recommend going in the morning during the week if you can, as it gets very busy.

We went for purely tourist reasons! First the stained glass dome in the centre of the store is stunning. Best viewed from the third floor. (Free) Second, the roof terrace on 6th floor, beautiful views over Paris and of course the Eiffel Tower. (Free) Restaurant was very reasonable prices, we were quite surprised. We sat and had a glass of red wine while taking in the view. A must visit

THIS COURSE IS IN ENGLISH AND THEY WON'T SPEAK TO YOU IN FRENCH - very disappointed about this. Otherwise pleasant woman teaching us and interesting to learn how to make macaroons, with four to take home

We got a Go City Paris pass and enjoyed a cooking class and fashion show. The Galeries Lafayette is a must see if in Paris. The Rooftop is breath taking, perfect for photos. The stained glass dome ceiling is just gorgeous. We had lunch at the cafeteria, which is good food, a drink at the bar that overlook the mall, heaven, Paris at its best.

We really enjoyed this class. It was relaxing, fun, informative and not too complicated. Definitely recommend. Plus it's in Galeries Lafayette, which is perfect for afternoon shopping after class.

These world renowned galeries should be visited at least once. The architecture was pretty spectacular within the interior, especially the dome. Shops of all types, just pricey as is to be expected. Eateries on upper floors, and don't miss the overlook on the roof of the city - free entry (8th floor or so). Escalators are quicker than the lifts, so plan accordingly.

The dome is stunning. We basically went to see the dome, and went up to the roof to see the views over Paris. There are a lot of people everywhere. In the building across from the one with the dome, you can also buy groceries.

We moved over to this part of Paris from Passy as we were about to start a river tour. This is a great part of Paris. We took advantage of the magnificent views (roof top) from this gorgeous building. My wife found a few bargains. We had a well-priced coffee there. A great morning in a great store.
