We had booked multiple tours (Chocolate and pastry tour, Versailles, Louvre and a Tuk-Tuk ride that ended in Montmartre) with Meet the Locals during our stay in Paris. I was glad we had Laurine for all the tours. She was engaging with my kids and kept them interested in everything that we did. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history of Versailles and the art in the Louvre. The chocolate and pastry tour were so much fun, and we were able to taste different things. I highly recommend Laurine and Meet the Locals. It felt more like our friend was taking us through Paris then a regular tour guide!

We had the most incredible time with both Nathalie and Sebastien. They were just wonderful people to go on the tours with and they both engaged our teenage son Zach, who speaks fluent French and mixed up the French and English brilliantly for us as we don’t speak French. When we visit Paris again we will definitely be booking another food tour. We returned to the area where we had the tour to grab more of the delicious goodies we tasted. We also did the side car tour, to the absolute delight of everyone involved, and the tour of Versailles. If you are after unique and memorable experiences, you can’t do better than Meet the Locals.

We did the Louvre, Sainte Chapelle, & Eiffel Tower Tour. Ms Cindy was great! Fabulous communication from a few days before all the way through the end. She was able to keep the attention of our 6yo and teens as well as us adults. We also had booked the Versailles tour, but it was cancelled last minute due to Versailles closing for safety reasons. Ms Cindy met us as planned, let us know the situation, but it officially closed before we made it out there. Without question we were totally refunded. I’m typically very hands on and will plan everything and buy all tickets on my own. I am so thankful we trusted Meet the Locals for these activities as I know we got more fun and less stress from going with them instead of relying on myself.

So glad we signed up for this tour!! Kids loved it! Cindy was fantastic with our children and really enjoyed the activity book! Would highly recommend for families!

Our tour with Cindy was amazing! She did a great job keeping my daughter engaged with the tour even though Leo is not fond of museums. The Activity Booklet really helped to give her something to do other than just listen passively. My daughter had only two goals for the Louvre: to see the Mona Lisa (easy) and to see a painting of a cat (not easy). Thanks to our guide we accomplished both plus a lot more. I'm not sure I would have even tried to take Leo to the Louvre without Cindy, but with her help we had a great experience!

We had the most amazing guide named Steven while we were in London! He took us around the city as well as the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. He was sooooo knowledgeable about all things London and was so great with the kids too! 5 stars all the way!

We opted for just a guided tour rather than a scavenger hunt because the Louvre was so crowded during our visit. But we were able to see the highlights and get a good overview. Cindy was a knowledgeable guide.

My wife and two children (ages 7 and 10) recently did the Versailles tour for kids. Laurine was an amazing guide! She was engaging with both kids, having them guide us through the gardens to various areas, and somehow finding some quite space in the crowds inside to stop in each room and tell some fantastic historical stories. I can't recommend this tour enough!

This company is amazing. We used them in Paris and London and both were awesome. So engaging with our kids and helped us navigate our first trip to Europe. We truly felt like we had the very best tour guides available. We booked 2 tours with other companies and absolutely regret not using Meet the Locals for those as well. Chris was our guide in London and Laurine in France. Both far exceeded our expectations.

We have used Meet the locals several times over the last few years, including the Versailles Tour, the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, and the Tower of London. This latest trip, we did the Tour of London with Manuella, and Versailles with Laurine. Both tours (And our guides) were amazing. Manuella and Laurine made the entire experience fun and educational for our girls (Who are 8 and 10) (And the parents!) - they were just incredible. Every single experience we have had with Tour by Locals has been phenomenal. They are absolutely the best! If you are traveling to London or Paris you absolutely need to book a tour with Meet the Locals!

This is our second time with Meet the Locals, and it was excellent all over again. They had planned 6 days for Oskar 12 and the two grandparents. Lunch on the Seine, Dinner at the Eiffel Tower, Trip to Normady to see the D Day locations, Trip to Champagne, the detective hunt at the Louve. This time we surprised Oskar and took the Eurostar to London for the day. He loved it! London Eye, Big Ben, lunch at an authentic pub and of course London Tower with all of the history that a 12 year old would like. He wants to go back for a longer visit. We have been with other tour companies around the world, but this group stands head and shoulders above anyane else

We had a really wonderful time with Sebastian on this tour. He was very informative and knowledgeable and suggested great places to eat. Although the tour involved three separate activities, the transitions were seamless. I especially liked the iPad animated illustrations he showed us of, for example, how the structure located at the Louvre changed over time. For visual learners it was a great way to appreciate the historical background. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Very enjoyable tour! Our guide, Marielle, was awesome! She was very patients and gave us great information about the neighborhood and places we visited. We definitely tasted some delicious sweets! Our kids really enjoyed too! Great addition to our trip!

Our host was wonderful. Even though we made a mistake in the booking (our fault), she was able to smooth it all out and get us in at the scheduled time. She really connected with our 9 year old. She even helped her get a special view of the Mona Lisa. THe game was fun and entertaining for our daughter and she actually enjoyed the museum, Our whole family had a wonderful time.
