The tour was fantastic!! Jean was terrific with my two kids (4 y.o and a 10 y.o). He was able to mix a extremely educational tour with a ton of fun facts and activities. My kids absolutely loved the tour. I highly recommend this tour to anyone that has kids. This tour took out all the stress of navigating the Louvre and made it so enjoyable for my wife and I. It was truly was one of the highlights of our trip to Paris.

We did three tours with My Private Paris (Latin Quarter, Opera and Covered Passages, Orsay & Montmartre). They were all AMAZING. The guides we had were all true experts — typically with a PhD in art history and certified (meaning they did the required year of training so can wear the badge and are often allowed to skip the queue (as we did this morning)), but most importantly they were so enthusiastic (oh, and their English is perfect). We loved all the tours and recommend them all, but particularly enjoyed the “covered passages” tour simply because it was off the beaten path. Highly recommend My Private Paris.

Dina, our highly knowledgable guide for Giverny, was full of information not found in tour guide books. I studied art history and loved her discussion of Monet's art, gardening plan, and irascible personality. As a special and unexpected surprise, Dina also knew quite a bit about Japanese prints and their influence on Monet and other Impressionists. Japanese printmaking is one of my specialities (and I taught that area at the college level) and quite enjoyed the exchange of information. We were able to go to the front of the line on a Sunday afternoon after a pleasant drive with Francois along a scenic route and accommodate my particular off-route request to see the Museum of Impressionism nearby. Highly, highly recommend My Private Paris for a tour that will suprise and delight you!!

What a Wonderful walking tour of Paris! Ludivine aka Lulu, was nothing short of amazing! Her knowledge of the history of the off the beaten-track was so insightful and entertaining, it sealed a lovely trip to France for my wife and myself. Doina was an amazing tour guide that kept our 3 and 7 year olds interested and engaged throughout the whole tour. She spoke with them and asked questions in a way that made them excited and wanting to play a role in the treasure hunt she was leading us on. We learned a lot of great information and really felt like we were able to see some great highlights of the museum without our kids getting too bored or tired. My daughter tells everyone we meet the story of how the Mona Lisa became so famous! The treasure at the end was such a wonderful touch. We definitely will recommend this tour to any family or friends with kids travelling to Paris!

We were passing through Paris on the way to Normandy. We had one afternoon to see the sights. My Private Paris arranged a driver and a guide, both of whom were excellent. Spectacular, full day, guided tour. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. She made the whole trip fabulous. Having a good guide not only gets you into the palace easier it opens up the opportunity for questions and discussion around the item displayed in the palace. We couldn't have enjoyed our day there more.

My son (45) Andi were attending the Olympics and wanted to see the Lourve and sample sweets. My Private Paris understood what I wanted and provided an all day tour providing both. Jean was our guide and he was so informative and gave us such a rich history of the art and France. The gastrointestinal tour was delicious and just wish we had not eaten lunch before enjoying the candy/pastries/macaroons. A trip to remember!

My family and I had a short period of time in Paris, so Manon arranged for a custom experience to highlight our interests. Our tour included a tour of a local cheese shop, a walk through some of the quiet streets in Les Marais, followed by a wine and cheese pairing. Our event was topped off with an artisan pastry tasting. Our private tour was hosted by Marie who is incredibly charming, accommodating, knowledgeable, and engaging (even with my two teenage sons). I couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable time and we are very grateful to Manon and Marie for helping us make some great family memories!

Lulu was an incredible tour guide - knowledgeable with historical context and information which enhanced our art appreciation, flexible to accommodate our energy level (we were still on US Eastern Time), and very personable. I would highly recommend this tour and Lulu, especially. Her guidance made our first trip to the Louvre both exciting and easy!

We had heard of My Private Oaris via Les Frenchies on YouTube. They were responsive and professional when I reached out to them and during the time that we were trying to figure out our schedule in Paris. We engaged them for a half day tour of the Louvre… and very glad we did. Charlotte met us in front of the Louvre and quickly engaged the kids… they got excited (which was a worry for us beforehand). Charlotte was smart, eclectic and straightforward. She made all of us laugh and it really felt like we had a close friend showing us around. Charlotte knew where to go and how to avoid the large tour groups… we were able to see and take pictures of everything we wanted with very few people around us. I have to say that was a skill… especially while talking with us about what we were seeing. It was a thoughtful and enjoyable morning that we were glad that we arranged with My Privaye Paris and Charlotte. They followed up with us after to ensure everything went well. Professional and well-run from start to finish.

Highly highly reccomend My Private Paris to anyone coming to visit this beautiful city. We did the private Louvre tour and it was so incredible! Alex was so well informed and passionate about art. Our private tour of the Louvre with him was a huge highlight of our trip! We are not art connoisseurs, but Alex made the whole tour easy to follow and fun. He even gave us advice after the tour for different restaurants to try in the area. Most definitely book this tour with him! We learned things we never would have learned by ourselves or with an audio guide. Totally worth the money. Thanks to Alex for making our trip so incredible!

This was a fantastic tour! Vaux-le-Vicomte was closed the day we planned our visit. Alexandre from My Private Paris let us know and offered to change our tours to different days. We decided on visiting the small villages of Barbizon and Moret-sur-Loing instead. Boy am I glad we did. This tour was one of my favorite of our 25 day trip through Europe. Fontainebleau is beautiful and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. There are a lot of rooms open at this Palace, which is super cool. The two villages were an experience I didn't know I was missing. I would go as far as to say, this is a not to miss tour. Our guide was Olek. He is very passionate about history and has an incredible depth of knowledge. He is super personable as such we had a fun time chatting with him and our driver Anicet. They both went out of their way to make sure none of the little details were missed. After drop us off back in Paris, Olek even walked with us to our restaurant reservation teaching us along the way. Amazing! Do not hesitate to book this tour! I can't recommend it enough!

We chose to do a half day tour of Versailles with My Private Paris which was a great call. Our driver Anicet was professional, careful and right on time. His car is clean and comfortable Our tour guide Diona enjoys her job and has a fondness for Versailles. This translates into a comprehensive tour that was enjoyable. Planning with My Private Paris was a breeze. Everything worked according to the plans. Don't hesitate to book this tour!!
