Jozef was great. He was knowledgeable and very courteous. He had a great stories. We enjoyed him so much, we booked him for another private tour to Belleau Woods even though I was already going there with another company, He even arranged a once in a lifetime experience. I would recommend him to everyone.

Let me add to the list of glowing reviews for this tour service. At the outset, setting up the tour with Deborah was smooth and professional. All of my questions were answered promptly. The day before the tour I received a text from Jozef to confirm arrangements and to advise on Normandy weather conditions.
Jozef met us at our Paris hotel at 6:30 AM. He has a comfortable van which easily held the 4 of us. As we drove to Normandy we got to know each other and Jozef began to give us background on the events surrounding D Day. We marveled at Jozef's depth and breadth of knowledge. He is a treasure trove of information, and conveyed that information with passion and respect for the subject matter. It is impossible in a short post to review the entirety of the day. Suffice to say we started with the events in the zone in which American paratroopers deployed, moved to the D Day beaches and ended at the American cemetery. A very moving day.
We all agreed the the tour with Jozef was the highlight of our 18 days in France! Jozef has even provided me with a list of follow up books on the subject. Can I give 6 stars? When we return to France we will be using PT/Jozef for other tours.

We were in Sweden, Denmark, and France for three weeks and this was my highlight of the trip. Simply awesome. Jozef ("Joe") was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, kind, and funny. The historical pictures he brought were a wonderful touch. He would show you a picture from the invasion or the next day after and then say, "you are standing where this picture was taken" and show you identifying marks in the picture. It was surreal. My wife and kids (17 and 13) had a great time too. We all loved it and would definitely recommend. Well worth the money. Oh, and the place where you have lunch which Jozef knows the owners is really, really good. This is all in addition to being at a historically relevant military event which is sobering. I was in awe the entire time.

Our family (2 adults, 3 teens) took a one day trip to Normandy with Josef. It's a looooong drive but worth it. We loved Omaha, Point du Hoc, and the American Cemetery. Very powerful. We skipped the airfields (our choice). We had a delicious lunch in a small town (I can't remember the exact name but it was away from the crowds). Joe told great stories, asked trivia, and is passionate about history.

This is a wonderful tour to Normandy. I traveled with a friend and our two teenage daughters- Jozef was the perfect tour guide- Despite bad weather (torrential rains) causing road closures leaving Paris- Joe expertly navigated side roads and got us to Normandy without a delay. I initially thought we would not make it or would have to miss many sights. He kept us feeling safe and we saw so much and learned so much from Jozef. Very moving sights. Joe then took us to the cutest seaside village where we had a delicious lunch. I hope to return to France and would book more tours with Jozef. He is also a wine sommelier! We booked directly with their website and Deborah and Jozef are very easy to deal with- I also believe you receive a discount when dealing direct. I highly recommend a tour with Jozef.

Jozef's tour exceeded all expectations. He is a unique combination of a WWII historian...entertaining story teller....and a great guy. There is nothing he doesnt know. It was perfect. 12 hour day that clearly gives you an unbelievable sense of the historical event.

The tour with Jozef to Normandy was the highlight of our trip to France. We were fortunate enough to book right before the 75th anniversary of D-day, so there were many re-enactors in the area. People dressed up and many army vehicles and tanks driving around which made it seem more authentic. The booking process was super easy with Deborah and Jozef picked us up right on time at 6:30am at our apartment in his very comfortable van; there were 6 adults in our group ranging from age 18 to 56. Jozef was very knowledgeable about the history of the region approaching Normandy and of course it was so interesting to get insights as to what it was like for the Americans and Germans who landed here on June 6th. We stopped at Pont -du-Hoc, Omaha Beach, a quaint Calvedo shop for apple brandy, We ate lunch at Port-en-Bessin-Huppain, a quaint fishing village, and finished our tour at the American Cemetery which is very moving. Jozef will tailor the trip to whatever you want so if there is something in particular that you want to see then I would tell him ahead of time and I am sure he will do his best to make it happen. Besides being a wealth of information about D-Day and WWII, he's just a really cool and fun guy to be around. I hope that we get to come back and do a wine tour with him. This tour is well worth the time and Euros and it was so nice to get out of Paris for the day.

My wife and I had a wonderful visit to Normandy with Jozef. There were some specific things we wanted to see and he customized our tour to accommodate while also visiting the must-see spots at Utah and Omaha beaches. A highlight of our trip to France, we highly recommend this tour with Jozef!!

We went to France to celebrate the year of our 40th anniversary. We looked forward to Paris and Bordeaux for the wonderful art , food and wine, but would never go to France without visiting Normandy. My mother's uncle Joe was shot on the beach during the invasion and recently passed. Our tour guide , Joe Prihoda , was a tremendous guide. The trip was extremely well planned, which was most important to us as we only had a one week vacation and did not have time for trains, busses and an overnight. The investment was the best thing we did on this trip. Joe picked us up at 6:30 AM at our hotel and we returned at 8:30 PM. His vehicle was great and he had well planned stops for breaks and lunch. More importantly, Joe was an expert. He brought us to sites inland of the beach and really brought us through the background leading up to the invasion from the towns, churches , fields and beaches. We were able to pay our respects on the beach and in the American cemetery. We will never forget this day. Well worth the investment. Thank you Joe. Ralph and Patti--Exton, PA.

What a wonderful trip. Private Trip (France) was a breeze to work with. Deborah was helpful by email and offered a variety of options. Our tour guide Jozef picked us up from our Paris flat and we drove three hours to Sainte Mere Eglise and then Utah beach, Pointe du Hoc, Omaha, and the American Cemetery. Jozef is a very personable guide and kept up both informed and entertained. It was so humbling to see the places where young American soldiers made the great (and in many cases, ultimate) sacrifice to begin freeing a continent. Returning from the new world to free the homes of their ancestors was a brave and selfless act. To see firsthand the sites you have read so much about was an experience any American, or freedom loving person, would treasure.

There will be either 6 or 8 of us in late August, 2020 and can we be dropped off at end of tour in Le Havre(we have cruise to pick) up by 5 pm or perhaps better if we plan on spending the night the night before near LeHavre? Can you accommodate some version of this tour?
Are there any stops at museums on this tour?

We are staying in a timeshare east of Paris and cannot get to the pick-up point by 7 a.m. Are there any other pick-up options between Paris and Normandy where we could drive to meet the tour?

Hello John, as this is a private tour, we can pick you up anywhere within the Paris and bring you back after the tour. With regards, Jozef
