    Awful security guards
We've waited all year to experience this holiday. And taking my young 3 children on they're very first trip abroad. We are staying in the Newport bay club and staff in the hotel have been lovely. Room is lovely and clean plenty of space etc. Bit of a que for some rides but that's fine and was expected. My issue is if you are coming here with young children don't expect some of the security guards to be helpful. I've had the most awful experience tonight and the attitude and professionalism of the 2 security guards I had the pleasure of bumping into has left me so angry. Infuriated and sent me absolutely crazy. We had left the park after a fabulous fireworks display myself 3 children (one in a pram) amd the rest of my family. It was heaving took us a while to exit. Myself and the baby in the pram got stuck in the crowd and my other 2 went ahead of me. I was stuck in the line as we all were like a heard of cows and I accidentally turned at the wrong exit quickly realised what I did at the gate and turned around quickly to catch up with my other 2 children who are 7 and 8. I was stopped by 2 security men who started shouting at ne that I'd have to leave and go in a direction I was unfamiliar with. I explained I needed to get my children and pointed at where they were heading which was just past Annette's dinner they said I had to go that way. I again told them my children are potentially on they're own I need to go to them they told me tough and that they didn't care and were pointing at where I should go. I got so anxious and upsett by this point I was trying to phone my other family members but couldn't get through I then started shouting out of fear they were so horrible and nasty. The whole thing was totally unbelievable. There I am standing there telling them my 2 young children are potentially on they're own and 2 security guards who are payed to assist and take care of paying customers of the park just didn't give a s##t. I don't know how many times I tried to explain what had happened but they wouldn't listen.. I had no choice in the end but to scream the place down and only then they allowed me to go in after causing such a scene. I got through to my dad eventually and thankfully told me my other 2 children were with my mum. My dad came down to meet me because I was so in shock and upset. He went to ask the 2 security guards for badge numbers one was very confrontational with him and pushed his upper body into him to show his badge. Got back to the hotel to make a complaint and found out they had lied to cover they're tracks and said I was trying to enter the disney village when that wasn't really the case so just shows they didn't listen to a word I said. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from 2 individuals who's duty of care basically is there to protect the guests but they couldn't give 2 hoots that a 7 and 8 year old could have been wondering the place on they're own. Them laughing at me when I was clearly upset says it all.

    Disappointed
Avoid this park. Prices are disgusting. Costing nearly 3pound for a bottle of coke also 16pound for a burger meal. The airport staff fobbed us off every chance they got and directed us to the wrong places resulting in us missing our train, which may I add are not as priced as online but 4 to 5 euros more. Costing us double for another ticket. We were given a room that was currently being occupied, walking in on another guest in there own room. And then the cost of snacks and merchandise etc which nothing was under 4 euros you can easily spend a couple of grand here if you are a family of four, Its all a big money grabbing scam. The happiest place on earth ,yeah If your financially able to or it ruins everything

    Disneyland Paris, partially festive
Disappointed by the lack of festive decorations and also by the number of rides and areas closed due to renovations. Appreciate work needs to be done but you buy your full price tickets and don’t get full use. Main Disney park had more open than the Hollywood Studio park! Stayed at Sequoia lodge got a nice view, rough loo roll and rough paper thin towels. Supplied with lamp, coffee machine and kettle with only one plug socket.

Disneyland Paris is mostly for residents living in France
Disneyland Paris is a nice place with good rides and fun parks with nice themes, and best of all the two parks are next to each other. But you mostly get good service if you speak french. They’re horrible at english - even though Disneyland Paris has existed since 1992. Everything is mostly in french (rides, shows and signs) and their merchandise is in french. There is no guest service in the park like in all parks in Disney World, so you’re on your own most of the time.

    Spectacular Christmas Experience
I would strongly recommend a visit at Christmastime. Despite it being colder, it was totally worth it and we just wrapped up. Don't miss the shows, they are incredible!

    Never again
Absolutely shocking. Nothing there is edible service is terrible. The restaurant staff are dam rude. No Supermarchés in the resort or surrounding areas unless you drive so forced to pay extortionate prices for garbage microwave food. Just go your local theme park and save your money. Plus it’s that busy your like sheep in a pen

    Good!
Loved it! So did my kids! Rides were very fun but food wasn’t very good. I think they could’ve put the lands in better areas as it felt like stuff was randomly next to eachother.

    Good in parts
Good but if you’ve done or planning to do America Disney… save your money for that! Needs more rides, not as big as advertised and lots or regenerations happening currently. Was half term when we went so busy as you’d expect but queue jumping not worth the cost imo. Enjoyed the drone display but fireworks were poor. Shops and food expensive but the food was good! Everything comfortably done in 3 days.

There needs to be more rides
We stayed on site for 3 nights & easily got everything done. Mid week in December. One night was very foggy and you couldn’t see the drone show and they cancelled the fireworks. The fast pass was very expensive, over €20 per person on some rides. So we didn’t buy it. We didn’t do drop drop, but these are the rides to head to if you do. Or wait until late when the fireworks are about to start. Our longest queue of just over an hour was Peter Pan & Crush Coaster. Both good rides. Our must do was to buy a plastic keepsake glass of champagne. €20 each, but lovely. Only buy on food cart at end of Main Street outside Gibson Girl. I did get to keep a cork too. Favourite ride is Thunder Mountain. Better and faster than Florida. We did it after dark and the lighting make it even more thrilling. Indiana Jones is a quick moving queue & the upside down loop wasn’t that bad. Everyday at least 1 main ride broke down. Space Mountain & Pinocchio were. Loved for refurb. There is lots of disruption due to building works. Food and alcohol is very expensive everywhere. Lots of shops with same stuff. We found the jewellery quite reasonably priced. I agree with an earlier review, too much LILO & Stitch stuff. The park was crowded and the parade route is short. Very good light parade. There was something in the afternoon but it wasn’t listed on the App? We just bumped into it at the main entrance. Mickey, Minnie & Santa at the station & Goofy & dancers in street. This was 2.30pm. The drone show is good but could be better. The fireworks are really sad compared to Florida and the music was unmemorable. A lot of stuff is in French. Star Tours was in French. Why can’t they also have rides in English like they do with some of the shows. The park & the hotels are all looking very tired. Dull paint work and scruffy pavements. Not magical at all. We love Christmas, but felt there should have been more decorations in Studios and Disney village. I think the parks must look really sad when not decorated. Most of the queuing areas are outside. So you are out in the cold or heat, also not shade if it rains or is really sunny.

    Disney at Christmas - Lovely!
I visited Disneyland Paris in December with my partner and two year old son. I have been to Paris a handful of times but i have been lucky enough to also experience Disney World in Florida. Disneyland is split into two parks -: Disneyland which is the equivalent to Magic Kingdom and is basically the same as the US one and the other park, which is next door, is Walt Disney Studios, similar to Disney MGM studios in Florida but smaller.. This review is merely about Disneyland. Firstly, i stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and although expensive it was really worth the money due to the ease of access with it directly next to the entrance to the park. I prefer visiting Disneyland at Christmas time due to the generic atmosphere and the Christmas Spirit, from walking down Main Street seeing the snow falling down to the christmas parades that take place. Each morning at opening Mickey and Minnie stand on the balcony looking down at the guests and waving and we noticed this was every morning which was nice for the little ones. I will break the review down into the main Pro’s and cons -: Pro’s - The Atmosphere throughout the park, especially at Christmas, is amazing and well presented with the Christmas tree and decorations and the spirit of Christmas throughout the entire park from the music to the various different stalls and drinks servers scattered around. I often forgot about the struggles of life whilst enjoying myself throughout the park. The staff were friendly and accommodating and there were many about. I don’t think i had any staff member who was rude or gave a negative attitude and many were forthcoming to help you where needed. The shops were not too badly priced for presents such as toys and the prices i paid is something i would expect to pay even if back in England. I did think it would be considerably more considering where we were but it wasn’t too bad. Cons-: There is literally shops everywhere selling the same stuff, i think this could be cut down and maybe consider more rides or activities instead of the constant shop after shop. Ensure you get to the fireworks early (from 9pm i would reserve) as this can get very very busy with crowds and you often find yourself being pushed or barged. Also check the weather as we watched the fireworks/laser show when fog set in and the castle could not be seen at all to which most people left. This will save a wasted trip, also if there is wind or any sign of bad weather the drones will not be flown which can affect the electric show. Speaking of the electric show i wasn’t really fond of it and i personally feel it is not Disney enough, if that makes sense. Where are all the characters hiding? We literally saw the same characters in the same place every day such as Winnie the Pooh at the entrance, Balou by Adventure Land however there was no Mary Poppins, Buzz Lightyear or any other main character at all however i personally saw Chip and Dale so many times but i don’t think i even knew who they were until someone told me. I think times have changed now where children watch more modern disney programmes/movies so therefore more options would be better character wise rather than the same ones. Very busy which causes the queue times to be very long. Fastpass is also around £9 per ride which you can only use once, the “unlimited fastpass” also only allows you to go onto a ride only once and cannot be used numerous times so be careful of that. i love Christmas at Disney and as much as i have mentioned the cons i still cannot get over the happiness on my childs face when he see’s woody or the lights and for that i will continue to come each year however i think people need to realise that this is Disney, it is a business which is famous worldwide so therefore they need to expect some of the prices to be higher than expected.

    Massive improvements, beautiful as always
This was our 15th visit to Disneyland Paris and we've been really impressed. We decided to stay at the Disneyland Hotel to enjoy a special experience, and I've reviewed this separately. Disneyland Park itself is beautiful as always. Christmas decorations this year are even more magical than ever, plenty of colour and the periodic Main Street USA events are great to experience. I'd definitely say to everyone that you must visit Disneyland Paris just for how beautiful the park is and exhilarating the attractions are, while providing a wide variety of intensities around different theming to suit all individuals unlike no other theme park I've visited can. Food has massively improved across the park. We visited Walt's - an American Restaurant, Captain Jack's Restaurant des Pirates and a few fast food restaurants within the park. Food is now high-quality, flavourful and consistent across all the outlets we visited while actually being a reasonable price to what I'm used to in the UK (3 course fine dining meal is approximately 55 euros). Service in restaurants was good in some and inconsistent in others, but still the magic atmosphere remains. Disney Illuminations are spectacular and I'm hoping the new version coming next year lives up to expectations! The Magical Sky Parade was a lovely addition too. However, I was slightly disappointed that the VIP viewing area was quite large and unavailable for purchase during my visit despite staying at the Disneyland Hotel, meaning members of our party got quite tight into a zone with plenty of VIP space next to it just to get a good view while Disney Cast Members attempted to strictly enforce the no-entry rule which didn't really compliment the experience and would make some uncomfortable. Merchandise has also improved since our last visit, I'm pleased they have gone back to varied merchandise throughout different stores which makes shopping more exciting. Christmas merchandise was more restricted but I appreciate the beautiful designs, more baubles like usual please! Service has got slightly better but significantly better on attractions, queues being much more organised and controlled. Premier Access is still quite expensive but worth it. I was hesitating whether to add a 4 or 5 star rating, however, I decided on 5 due to the massive improvements and our families' desire to return very soon. I'd highly recommend to everyone and thank Disneyland Paris for making these valid improvements which fans have suggested!

    Wouldn’t go back
People say Disney is meant to be ‘The happiest place in earth’ but sadly that wasn’t my experience. The facilities at the park were great and the food and drinks, and as expensive as to be expected. The shows are also great, and the rides are fun. Sadly the aggressive nature of a lot of the other guests really spoils it. We took my MiL who is in a wheel chair, and honestly so many times she was banged into and pushed about as people rushed to get in front of her, particularly on the buses between the parks and the hotels. We missed several buses that we could have taken purely because of this. The attitude of others really ruined the experience for me and my family. I also thought the merchandise went really heavy on Lilo and Stitch at the expense of some older but brilliant characters missing

The most magical place on earth!
3 weeks after my trip and I still have the Disney blues! I have wanted to go all my life and it did not disappoint, DLP is an AMAZING place! Everything from the theming of the hotels, restaurants and shops to the rides and characters was perfect! We visited during Christmas so it was incredible to see all the Christmas decorations, the drone show and the Christmas parade. It jump started our festive season and felt like magic. Obviously it is not cheap to go, or when you’re there, but it is Disneyland and is to be expected. We fell very lucky with the weather which made the whole trip even more enjoyable. The app was great too and really helped us organise our day and overall trip. I loved everything about it and can’t wait to go again one day!

We preebook our tickets but even with the prebook offer we paid 214 euro for two adults and two small children to visit only one park. The food is very expensive even to the small canteens we paid 5 euro for a small french fries and 3 euro for a small mineral water. It's a huge place and if you don't pay for the fast pass you have to run from one place to other to visit a big number of the activities because you lose a lot of time in queues.

We arrived on the Eurostar on the afternoon of day 1 so spent a few hours in the Studios and the second full day in the park. There have been some big changes for the Covid measures. Everyone wears a face mask, regardless of who you are or exemptions, so it was good and enforced. There was social distancing in the queues with floor markers and enhanced barriers. There were a higher number of attractions or restaurants, food stalls etc closed - mainly because of the lower numbers in the park. It was very hot (32-35C) and all the water fountains were closed because of covid, but there were plenty of places to buy water- would have been good if you could get these refilled by staff. There were opportunities to have selfies or pictures with the characters even in the heat, but you couldn't get close to them or get autographs. Most of the queues were 30minutes or less, and they moved really quickly. The staff were very good at enforcing social distancing throughout the park.

I went with family and members of all age groups, right from 1 year old to 60 yrs old. The park is definitely a heaven on earth for kids, but I am sure it can be managed in a better way. I've visited an Universal Park before and by far it was much better organized. However I would strongly suggest that if you are with family don't go for the 1 day pass and try to cover both the parks, because it will be next to impossible, if there is a long wait time. I started with Walt Disney park and was able to do just 3-4 rides by afternoon and then rushed to Disney Park, where again it took almost 90 mins waiting for one ride.

If the place is crowded and it is sunny, you are in for a mess, because you don't get any place inside the restaurant to eat or relax. The waiting time is so high that you tend to skip the ride, so that you can see the park.

I strongly recommend to visit the place but either the duration should be longer or you should have the fast pass, to skip the line.

Honestly, I have nothing positive to say about this place. I would rate this zero stars if I could. We spent about 85% of our time here standing on a queue- absolutely no exaggeration. You have to queue (rather, stand in a giant, completely disorganized mass) for bag check. The queue for entry. Then queue for rides. We spent the entire day at the park and managed to go on 2 rides, one of which was a maximum of 2 minutes long (and a 90 minute line!). We queued even longer buy a knock off McDonalds burger at double the price. This park has absolutely no redeeming features. Nothing was enjoyable. I can only imagine the all the positive reviews are desperately lying to themselves to try and justify the complete waste of money. Consider yourself warned.

I thought maybe some of the other bad reviews were left by emotional parents who were unnecessarily disappointed that their kids did not melt down in a puddle of Disney Magic. However, having visited, I can honestly say myself that Disneyland Paris is rubbish.

The iconic castle is covered in scaffolding so cannot be seen. So there is no wow moment when you walk into to Disneyland.

There are no Princesses at Disneyland Paris at the moment, allegedly due to Covid.

There are no Parades at Disneyland Paris at the moment, allegedly due to Covid.

There are no Fireworks at Disneyland Paris at the moment, allegedly due to Covid.

Only about 25% of food vans and restaurants are open so there are huge queues for the simplest of things. It honestly takes upwards of 30 minutes to get a little snack from a van.

Now, to put it into perspective, I will end with the all important cost. Disneyland costs a lot of money so you expect them to at least make it clear on their website that the experience will be limited due to Covid. They are charging full price for a minimal service and this is simply unfair. I would say it is worth a visit if you live an hour away and have an annual pass. However, if you have to travel from another city or even another country, I would not recommend it. My daughters both enjoyed themselves but only as much as they enjoy our local attractions at home which cost less than £50 for a family of 4.

I have been to the Disney Parks in the US and this was my second time visiting the Paris park. I am a strong believer that both parks are completely amazing. We had the 1 park ticket which we pre ordered on Attraction Tickets which also came with ten free Polaroid Disney themed photos of your choice, which in recommend doing as the price at the park was a bit expensive, however if you do do this, bare in mind that you cannot upgrade your ticket to enter the second park as it is from an external business.

I went in May with my partner, to which it was her first ever visit, and she was overwhelmed with the whole experience. As per Disneys nature they always provide an experience to remember. During our visit in May it was, as expected, busy. We entered the park at around 10am and spent the entirety of the day there. The rides wait times on average was maybe around 40-60 minutes with the more busiest parts being the Star Wars area but that was probably because we were there on 4th May and it was “May the 4th be with you” so there was plenty of excited Star Wars fans.

There was a parade, which happens sporadically throughout the day with most of the Disney characters on which runs through the entire park, along main street and finishing at the entrance. I found the best view was at the steps to the castle as the floats go past here. One thing I will say is don’t have a Selfie Stick because they are in fact banned and I got shouted st by staff for filming the parade on an extended selfie stick.

The firework display started at 11pm, however you are allowed to exit the park when it closes and return later on. We left and visited Planet Hollywood for dinner and then returned however I do recommend you re enter two hours earlier to reserve a good spot for viewing as it can get really busy and crowded. Also plan your journey home, as when we left there was hoards of people and literally the last train so we had to run for it!

The experience was magical, and I will return in the future.

I'll start of by saying theme parks in general aren't my ideal vacation destinations.
That said, Disney Paris still managed to disappoint despite my lowered expectations.

We were a group of 8 (4 adults, 4 children aged 8-10). After lugging them around England and France the previous week and a half, we thought we'd reward them with a day at Disney.

Now seeing as though we only had a day there, we wanted to avoid spending most of our day waiting in line so we purchased the Premier Access Ultimate pass for everyone, which is insanely more expensive than the park ticket itself. But it was pretty much the only way we could guarantee getting on every ride we wanted to during the day.

Having previously been to the Florida and California Disney parks, Disney Paris just feels "less Disney" if that makes sense. Granted, I'm not the biggest Disney fan to begin with, but this was noticeable to me.

Disneyland Park feels more similar in scale to Disneyland in Anaheim, but still quite lacking in attractions. Phantom Manor (The Haunted Mansion) just feels incredibly dated. I get there's a nostalgia factor for rides like this, but it could really use some sort of modernization. This goes for the same rides in the North American parks as well. The two bright spots were Thunder Mountain Railroad and the Star Wars themed Spaced Mountain. I think these are better than their North American counterparts.

Walt Disney Studios park was underwhelming. Unfortunately our visit was just weeks before the opening of the Marvel section, so it just seemed like there was very little to do there. The Cars Road Trip "ride" is a joke. They simply rebranded the old backlot tour and shoehorned in Cars characters. I would have been pretty annoyed if we had to wait in any sort of line to get on that. The Tower of Terror also seemed a bit off compared to its WDW counterpart. Crush's Coaster was one of the few bright spots. That was fun.

Again, I'll admit to not being the biggest Disney fan, but I imagine I still would have been disappointed if I was. It's expensive (which is par for the course with Disney), many rides seem dated, others were closed, and just lacked some of that Disney aura felt in the North American parks. I'm sure there are much better things to do with children in the region.

In conclusion, I'd only recommend this for Disney die-hard completists and/or those where a trip to Florida or California is too big of an expense. Otherwise, it's just not worth it.

I bought tickets online 70 euros each for myself and 2 children. Due to covid I have been able to rearrange mh vista without losing the money . Kids have enjoyed it we entered about 12 and left at 23.00 as we had to wait for fireworks at the end.
We caught up with first parade around 12cabd watched full parade at 17.00.
Amazing atmosphere. Food is not great range I'm glad I took few snacks hardly any vegetarian options available.
Be prepared and take extra clothes for little one as weather was freezing after 8 pm.
We used fast track passes that i bought off the up before each ride . These used to be free but they charge for them now.as little as €7 and max €16 per person. This has saved us waiting and kids enjoyed going through all rides without waiting long queues.
We did not wait in queues to get characters signatures as my kids are not that little and wanted to enjoy the rides.
Queues around 30 minutes wait fir each character .
I would advice to get a paper copy if the park before going in , as there is none and it helps to look and decide where to start.
Also check height of child before waiting in queue as some children can be 2 cm short and won't be able to use it.
We used the train to get to the place .
Took some extra clothes and glad i did.
Tops prices are €59.99 simple mickey ear display for pictures is €25 .
Ice cream parlours, popcorn .... all available .
Al la carte restaurant available €26 per child , €50 per adults .
Tickets are not transferable, proof of ID required , I left mine at home so had to get them printed again staff were very helpful.
The fireworks were amazing and exceptional a bit late but there is logic behind it as it marked the end of the day and everyone left the park in timely manner .
Plenty sitting areas , lovely tea ship party style.
Access for disabled available .
Staff very nice and welcoming can speak English, French..
Families with prams it's safe to say it easy to move around with ramps everywhere.
Few hotels around and shops , if you planning to buy souvenirs use the retail shops around they are much cheaper.

For 414 € entrance fees you get the privilege of being treated to another 30 € inescapable parking fees, a park consisting 80% out of shops to further dive into your wallet, an overcrowded park with nearly no options to relax or even sit while eating and attractions with waiting times between 50 and 120 minutes all day. In our 12 hours there, we were able to do 4 rides. The only food we could get without a reservation weeks before our visit, was from the pancake stands (even those had 30' waiting times) or the fast food places. The second one of these we did (chalet de la marionette) was able to cope with about two customers per five minutes and the food they tried to serve us were the plates that were already sitting there the 20 minutes we'd been in line, with cold and flat French fries and buns that had already started to become hard.

The best theme park we've been to. They have put so much attention to detail to complete your experience in every way.
First of all, it's better to but tickets online before you come. There could be long queues and also some days could get sold out. Come early. Park opens at 9.30AM. Also plan your visit before you come so that you can cover mostly everything you wanted to cover. Better to bring snacks from outside, it's too pricy inside the park and also again long queues at the cafes.
Most preferred method to arrive by train. It's just 100m walk to park from station. Make sure you buy the return ticket in just as you arrived because closer to the closing time there can be very long queues to buy tickets. Last train to Paris leaves around 12AM. So plan your return accordingly.
Do not miss the Disney parade. It happens everyday at 5.30PM and its really magical. And the light show at the closing time. It was a perfect end to the day. Also I recommend you to use the Disneland app so that you can get updates about ride waiting times, events schedule... etc.
We spent only one day here and feels like that is enough. If you plan early you can have a good time here.
There is free WiFi all over the park. Toilet facilities are very good. Restaurants and cafes can be found every nook and corner. Staff is very friendly. They do speak English. So don't hesitate to talk to them and clarify any issues you might have.
