- Carys A0 contributionsRiver boat trip down the SeineEasy to find and quick to alight the boat. Ample despite there being a lot of people on Board. Good variety of this G’s to see - only let down was the audio which was a bit dull! All in all, good value for money and great to start and end at the Eiffel Tower.Written March 25, 2025
- 405elizas0 contributionsNo refund no starsDO NOT BOOK with Bateaux Parisiens!!! I booked with them for a trip I took to Paris in January. They canceled the cruise due to the river flooding. I saw the river and it was flooded so I wasn't upset about the cancelation. They gave me the option of rescheduling or a full refund. I couldn't reschedule due to my trip schedule and told them I would like a refund. They agree to the refund but becuase I had booked the trip months prior Bateaux Parisiens could not refund me directly to the card I used. They asked for my bank number, routing number, and a lot of other imformation. I argued with them for a while about how they should be treating my refund because I did not feel comfortable sending them my imformation VIA EMAIL! That is not a secure way to send imformation!!! After 2 week of arguing I gave into their request to send it via email becuase I had no other choice. I kept a very close eye on my account but I still have not received my refund!!!! 2 weeks after sending them my imformation I emailed them stateing that I haven't recieved the refund. Bateaux Parisiens said they looked into and are trying it again. Still no refund!!! I have sent them several emails since and haven't herd anything from them in a month. Its been 3 months since they said they would refund me and I havent seen a penny back. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!Written March 24, 2025
- 652andrewc0 contributionsDine and float on the SeineA great location on the riverbank just below the Eifel Tower. We dined first in the floating restaurant. The food and service were excellent. The boat was large and comfortable, with huge windows. We sat inside for the first half then stood on the top deck for the return trip. Paris by night is spectacular.Written March 23, 2025

- Passenger413227008790 contributionsFabulous Last Night in Paris! We really enjoyed our last night in Paris. The dinner cruise was our grand finale in Paris and it was well worth the price. Seeing the Eiffel Tower twinkle at night and so close up was spectacular. The food was good and the entertainment was great too. I would highly recommend the Dinner Cruise at night. Merci Beaucoup!Written March 22, 2025
- Y9225PGtammyf0 contributionsBeautiful experienceThe boat experience is charming and comfortable. The views are fantastic even though it rained some during my trip. It is difficult to take pictures through the glass as there are too many reflections but you can step outdoors to take pictures. The staff were all wonderful. They are engaging offering a “personal” feel to the experience. The food was amazing. Overall, I had a wonderful experience on this trip.Written March 22, 2025
- rkmay00 contributionsWonderful, romantic night! We did this dinner cruise with the premier service option, which was simply fantastic! The food was DELICIOUS! It was a relaxing evening and with premier, you are in a smaller cabin area at the front of the boat with fewer tables. It's nice and quiet. All the walls and the roof over you are glass, so you can see all directions. The service was fantastic and they were fluent in English. We had a wonderful romantic night on the cruise.Written March 21, 2025
- Camper215788348080 contributionsGreat way to see ParisThis was 17 euros an adult to cruise. Lasts about 90 minutes. You start at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, head up the Seine river, turn around, and then head back to the Eiffel Tower. It was pretty cool and they narrate all the landmarks as you go in different languages. You can sit either inside or outside for a clearer view. It was worth the price and a great introduction to Paris.Written March 21, 2025

- Aubrey M0 contributionsCRUISE INTO THE HEART OF PARISFrom start to finish, this was a first class cruise. We were greeted and welcomed into the waiting area which was warm and cozy on a cold and windy day. After a 30 minute wait, we’re greeted by the cruise staff and guided to our window seat. By the way, paying extra for a window is a good idea. We enjoyed the champagne, and each meal course was excellent. Our server was very attentive. The sites were amazing, especially the view of the Eiffel aligned with the Statue of Liberty. Worth the money.Written March 20, 2025

We booked the cruise to celebrate a special family birthday. From start to finish we were extremely impressed with the whole experience. All the staff we met were friendly and professional. Unfortunately the river level was running high, so the trip went down river instead of the usual more touristic route upstream,- this was explained clearly when we arrived and we were given tickets for a sightseeing cruise later in the year when the river levels permit. In fact, he altered route did not detract from our experience, so the offer of a later trip is extremely generous. The food was excellent and the service was attentive and efficient. The trip was very reasonably priced given the quality of the catering (excellent rapport qualite/prix!) We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend it to others. We will definitely book again next time we visit Paris.

We enjoyed this cruise thoroughly. We had to rebook as our flight was delayed and then we were late getting into Paris. We rebooked the same cruise for a later date and after some negotiation got refunded for the initial. But the service was good, food was tasty and the wine delicious. Getting a whole bottle of wine was even better. The sights were not really sights, as all we saw were other river boats. I would not consider this sightseeing there were some cool-shaped buildings but do not expect to see much. Nonetheless we would do this again just for the experience.

This is a must-do! My family and I really enjoyed this tour. Our server was very informative about the sights we were seeing. The food was delicious, as was the wine. We booked a premier seating so we were right next to the window and had great views. This boat tour is enclosed and I would recommend dressing like you're gong out to dinner (even for the lunch tour).

Over the years, I have had a number of lunches on Bateaux Parisiens. Normally, they are very good but the one that I took on Saturday 12 November 2022 on their boat Oynx was an annoying appointment.
The food was very good but the champagne and white wine was not properly chilled. The first glass of each bottle was warm. Putting a warm bottle in a bucket of ice is not going to chill the entire bottle. The shortcut is inexcusable.
The personnel was very friendly. The waiters were very good.
The problem was the view. I paid for the most expensive ticket to get an "unobstructed" view at the front of the boat. This part of the boat offers a more complete menu, better tables and large floor to ceiling windows. Unfortunately, there is a small exterior catwalk that goes around the front of the boat. I assume that it was designed for the crew's use during docking because is very narrow and the portion directly in front of the bow has a gate to further restrict access.
A young couple who paid for a less expensive ticket at the back of the boat discovered the door opening onto the catwalk. They decided use this "dangerous" location for their personal photo shoot. There is nothing more disgusting when you are eating lunch than to watch the "backside" of a blonde posing for some social media accounts. (Yes, I am not a fan of influencers.) In any case, my wife (who is French) complained to the waiter who said that there was nothing he could do. She then requested that he inform the onboard restaurant manger. The manager very politely got the couple off of the catwalk but after a short time, they came back and this started a procession of more and more people going out on that catwalk and spoiling my view and my lunch. Of course, I complained and listened all of the excuses like "It is the captain who decides." (The captain of these boats are employees of Bateaux Parisiens and not the owners of this business. Moreover, there is a real safety issue that a customer could fall overboard and go under the boat. So, if the captain decided that it was ok to use this catwalk then he ignored the safety of the passengers.) The solution to the problem was simple: "Just rope off the door to the catwalk."
This is the first time that I have experienced this problem on one of their boats. Nevertheless this is a management problem that Bateaux Parisiens should have solved immediately. Image it this was an airline where a passenger in Economy Class decides to occupy an empty in Business Class. I don't know of any airline that would let that happen.

Do you or your significant other easily get seasick on a boat? Are you afraid that once it starts moving, you will feel unwell, and with nowhere to go, you will barf in front of everyone else? Worry not! This ride is smoother than riding in a car. We’ve dined in a similar boat cruise on the Bateaux in Chelsea Piers back home in New York. Compared to that one, it’s night and day (no pun intended). The Seine is a relatively narrow river. Without sufficient distance from one bank to the other and since it’s not situated near the coast, there are no tides. When you first board the boat, you will sense a slight rocking back and forth while it is stationary. But once it moves, you will not feel a thing.
As for the seating, always purchase the guaranteed window seat because otherwise what’s the point? You could have lunch with a normal view of the Seine in a normal restaurant. The window seat gets you an intimate view of Paris with your intimate partner. There are two types of win seats. The first type is a table with two chairs all by itself. The other is a table with one chair and one sofa that you will with another person sitting in the table next to you. There is enough space between the two adjacent tables so that you do not have to get intimate with those people too. You could pay even more to sit at the front of the boat. That gets you a better 360° overall view with complimentary champagne, but you lose the window view. If you really want that champagne, you could simply ask your waiter to bring you a glass for a supplemental €14 per glass which you will pay with cash or card after the meal. But honestly, the bottle service that comes with the guaranteed window seat includes one bottle of white wine and one bottle of red wine. If you can finish both bottles, you will be quite drunk when you step off the boat.

The food was very good and the service was very friendly. The bathrooms were clean enough. The wines were just okay, nothing special. Very crowded. My husband thought he booked the best category but he did not. You feel like cattle if you book the lowest category and get seated in the center of the boat.

Absolutely disappointing!!! We paid over €600 for 2 adults and 3 children and when we checked in we were told that the route had changed at short notice. We only drove as far as the Louvre and then drove forever upstream, past high-rise buildings, barracks and industrial halls!
Half of the advertised sights were not visited.
No apology, no explanation....

Very good food and service. It was a wonderful experience to watch the sights pass by on the Seine while enjoying a delicious meal. We reserved a table by the window. There was a photographer present who offered our photos without obligation. Later a waiter came to recommend a CD with the music that was played on the boat. I don't think this is necessary and it detracts from the atmosphere. Our reservation included 2 bottles of wine (red and white). We thought that was a lot for 2 people and a waste of good wine.

The best thing we did during our Paris break. I think it worked out €65 per head for 3 courses of fantastic food a bottle of wine and a hour and a half cruise past all the sights. Shout out to our server Sebastian who made our cruise even better. Absolute value for money.
The only point I would make is that we chose the 3 courses Etoile menu and was told we would have a window seat however upon boarding it was explained that all window seats come under the Privilege 4 course option. This could easily be made more clear on booking

The whole experience was fantastic. We would highly recommend. The food on this cruise was brilliant and depending on the service you opt for you can get all inclusive wine which is lovely. I’d highly recommend this cruise especially for couples it’s very romantic and paying the extra for the window seat is definitely worth it and makes it that little bit more special. It’s very easy to find and you just follow the address given and it will take your right there. Our waiter was fabulous very knowledgeable of the sights and had a great personality. We did our cruise at the start of our trip, which was good as it gave us a chance to get a glimpse of beautiful Paris and take note of what we wanted to go and explore more of. We absolutely loved our cruise experience and would highly recommend!

How can I buy an additional excellence dinner ticket for my child/toddler? He is only 3 yrs old however we would like him to have his own seat and meal. We already have two tickets but we want to buy and extra meal ticket for him.

Hi Welwyn. Unfortunately there wasn't a children's menu, but my two very plain-eating children both ate a fair amount. A main course option when we went was chicken, which they went for; and the mocktail looking juices and puddings were scoffed!

Hello,
Is there a dress code for the lunchtime cruise? The main website only mentions a dress code for the evening cruise.
Many Thanks.

What are the food choices for the lunch cruise? Are there vegetarian choices
Written June 20, 2022
They have several options including vegetarian. All of them were nice. If you are looking for vegan options, however, I would suggest connecting with them in advance. Me and my husband are vegetarians and we ate very well.

I am ready to book for my husband and I for lunch on August 4, 2022. How do I select PRIVILEGE SERVICE?
Written May 29, 2022
I recently booked the Privilege Service for the lunch cruise on the Bateaux Parisien website, it was there as an option along with the premium service. I think because you’re booking at a very busy time of the year that the Privilege Service is probably sold out and it’s just showing the available options for your date. I think it’s the most popular option on the lunch/dinner cruise. I went in March, so it was quiet and many of the guests were able to upgrade on the day. If there is a no show, this may be possible for you. Alternatively, you could check other days to see if the privilege service is available. Good luck.
