    So informative!
Hugo was a great guide! Very knowledgeable. Good insights. I had been to the cemetery years ago on my own, and today I left with so much more of an understanding.

    Sunday was a gem!
Sunday was a gem. She was very professional and accommodating. I thought her well informed bits of knowledge and a healthy amount of educated skepticism was perfect for someone like me who is not well aquatinted with the art world. I sometimes have trouble distinguishing masterpieces from those that aren’t. I would highly recommend her as a guide.

Guided tours are the way to go- skip the line and have a more memorable experience!
Special thanks to my guide, Julien, for making this a memorable experience. His passion for Paris, art, and history was evident as he guided us through the exhibits with joy and a great sense of humor. He even ensured we got front row views for everything. I am glad I did this instead of a self guided tour, as I was able to learn much more about each work of art.

Super informative and engaging experience. We had a wonderful afternoon with Hugo, who is kind, knowledgeable and extremely passionate about what he does, as he explained in detail about the sites we were seeing. He made this tour so incredibly interesting with Paris coming to life as our imaginations just took us into the medieval and ancient world of this magical city.
He wasn’t in a rush as he gave us time to stand in line and get coffee or a drink at the cafes along the way, and recommended restaurants and different local places to experience in different parts of the city. Just a fantastic guide.
We highly recommend booking this excursion with Hugo. You’ll be so glad you did.
Thank you Hugo for making our trip much more memorable!

My husband and I are celebrating our 50th Anniversary in Paris this week. Our tour with Eden was our first adventure in the city to the Latin Quarter. She gave us such an informative and insightful afternoon. We enjoyed learning several new things about Paris in addition to her great commentary. She was so patient with all of our questions and if there was a fact she did not know, took the time to research it and pass it on to us. She made it so much fun!

Eden was fantastic ! She’s a great communicator and storyteller. I’m a journalist so I can appreciate this skill. She’s very personable too. Her English is excellent and I asked her about French pronunciations and she was very patient and helped me ! Eden had a lot of information to share in this tour which I truly appreciate as I am a student of knowledge and want to learn about a country and its history when I visit . She was generous with her time and took some terrific pictures of my husband and I . I was very happy with this tour with Eden and will recommend it to anyone who is interested!

Our two and a half hour tour of the Latin Quarter with tour guide Hugo was a most enjoyable experience! Hugo really knew his material, presented it in an educational, engaging and entertaining manner. Our total tour group was six and that, no doubt, added to Hugo’s ability to personalize our tour. Very easy to recommend.

We did the Latin Qtr tour in Paris with a fantastic guide, Georgia and the consensus from the family is that this walking tour was the best thing we did during the trip to Paris. Georgia's in-depth knowledge and her style of delivering the information kept our 6 y & 10 y old fully engaged throughout the 2.5 hour tour. She shared many anecdotes and facts that was very unique and interesting.

Georgia covered the main parts of the Latin Qtr without rushing or skipping, but also provided breaks to ensure that we caught a break for water and snacks as it was a hot day in Paris.

Georgia was also very good at answering the questions we (and the other family) had to ask. The highlight for us was the time we spent admiring all the stained glass and architecture at a nearby Cathedral (since Notre Dame is closed for tours) and Georgia's color commentary on the symbolism and history of the paintings.

Thanks Georgia and Babylon Tours for creating a wonderful memorable visit to the Latin Qtr.

How did we get so lucky? To find François and have him as our guide during our first trip to Paris was good fortune, indeed. With just a few questions at the start, he sensed immediately what would intrigue and delight us. Then we were off to the races!

Visiting so many of the famous sites in the Latin Quarter, he helped us see them through history, through the eyes of a native, and to understand what was amazing or important about where were standing. When something extraordinary was happening, we paused and enjoyed it together, as he added quiet commentary – like when we walked into a baptism of cherubic twin girls at the Église Saint-Séverin, as a young cousin accompanied the ceremony with a virtuoso performance on the cello. Bliss.

François also made many terrific recommendations for the rest of our visit, so many that we must return soon. Honestly, we can’t wait to tour the rest of Paris with François in the future. Merci beaucoup! À bientôt!

Our guide a history professor from Ireland named Hugo was outstanding. The breadth and depth of his knowledge of the Quartier Latin was outstanding. The history of the area from Roman occupation to Charlemagne and the franks, the French Revolution, napoleon to the modern era. His presentation was highly entertaining and the two hour tour went by in a flash. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in gaining a deeper understanding culture the history and the architecture of the Latin quarter

We had a fabulous time on this tour! Our guide was exceptional and we were lucky enough to have him to ourselves. We enjoyed every minute of this experience and would not hesitate to recommend our tour guide Alex to anyone interested in this area. Alex made the Latin Quarter come to life for us and connected the things that we told him to the places we saw. For example, my husband loves the movie 'Midnight in Paris' so Alex took us to the steps that featured in the movie where Owen Wilson sat :) We came away knowing a lot more about the area and feeling very firtunate to have found this tour.

Wonderful! François is an amazing tour guide! His knowledge of Paris is exceptional, and his love for the city is positively contagious!

We began the tour after a very early Eurostar trip, so the prospect of walking for hours seemed daunting at first. This was especially true of our tween son. François made the tour enjoyable even for him (no small feat) and even managed to find a lovely shop full of tabletop games that made our son's eyes light up :-)

Paris is overwhelming for newly arrived tourists like us, and François was masterful at making the city seem accessible and understandable. When the tour was over, he assisted us in making it to our next stop with ease. All along the way, he gave us useful advice that kept us from making some of the typical tourist errors.

If you are going to Paris for the first time, you must book this tour. If your time in the city is short (as ours was), it is worth every precious minute. A+++ experience!
