How did we get so lucky? To find François and have him as our guide during our first trip to Paris was good fortune, indeed. With just a few questions at the start, he sensed immediately what would intrigue and delight us. Then we were off to the races!
Visiting so many of the famous sites in the Latin Quarter, he helped us see them through history, through the eyes of a native, and to understand what was amazing or important about where were standing. When something extraordinary was happening, we paused and enjoyed it together, as he added quiet commentary – like when we walked into a baptism of cherubic twin girls at the Église Saint-Séverin, as a young cousin accompanied the ceremony with a virtuoso performance on the cello. Bliss.
François also made many terrific recommendations for the rest of our visit, so many that we must return soon. Honestly, we can’t wait to tour the rest of Paris with François in the future. Merci beaucoup! À bientôt!

We had a fabulous time on this tour! Our guide was exceptional and we were lucky enough to have him to ourselves. We enjoyed every minute of this experience and would not hesitate to recommend our tour guide Alex to anyone interested in this area. Alex made the Latin Quarter come to life for us and connected the things that we told him to the places we saw. For example, my husband loves the movie 'Midnight in Paris' so Alex took us to the steps that featured in the movie where Owen Wilson sat :) We came away knowing a lot more about the area and feeling very firtunate to have found this tour.

Wonderful! François is an amazing tour guide! His knowledge of Paris is exceptional, and his love for the city is positively contagious!
We began the tour after a very early Eurostar trip, so the prospect of walking for hours seemed daunting at first. This was especially true of our tween son. François made the tour enjoyable even for him (no small feat) and even managed to find a lovely shop full of tabletop games that made our son's eyes light up :-)
Paris is overwhelming for newly arrived tourists like us, and François was masterful at making the city seem accessible and understandable. When the tour was over, he assisted us in making it to our next stop with ease. All along the way, he gave us useful advice that kept us from making some of the typical tourist errors.
If you are going to Paris for the first time, you must book this tour. If your time in the city is short (as ours was), it is worth every precious minute. A+++ experience!

Oliver is a fun and informative tour guide. He was able to answer our questions about the history of a fascinating part of Paris. He also showed us buildings that were right in front of us but would have still missed and not understood their import without his insight. It was a very good use our time.

Eduardo was an amazing guide, breathing life into Paris’s history as we toured the Latin Quarter. He entertained our questions and related interesting stories throughout. He presented his considerable expertise as an art historian in a relatable way that we (and our 13 and 11 year-olds) really enjoyed.

François was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, going out of his way to point out locations and details he thought would interest us. He was an excellent storyteller. We left feeling much more informed about the history of the Latin Quarter in context of French history. He also extended our tour to make sure we got to see all the important sites that we were interested. I would highly recommend a tour with François.

We had an excellent tour with Tamari. She was personable and quite knowledgeable, giving us great insights into the Latin Quarter area. She was willing to adjust the planned walking tour, to accommodate same specific places we wanted to see. Her English was excellent, a great help for us as we do not speak French.

The name of our guide was Hugo.
He was a intelligent young person with a degree in ancient history and applying PhD at Sciences Po.
He had the deep knowledge of history of Paris and ofcourse latin Quarter. He told us about literature, philosophy, historical places, architecture, monuments, philosophers, writers and many more. We learnt a lot from him and we enjoyed being with him even though it was 37 Celcius outside.

We have 3 young boys and have been to Paris many times. We know how difficult it is to get them focused but Belen Roncoroni made this walking tour an amazing one. It felt magical, visiting historÃcal spots we had never seen even if we have been to paris many times. She managed to keep our boys interested by asking questions and keeping them engaged. She was extremely patient, and had wonderful stories. We were thrilled, best guide we’ve ever had. Thank you!

Since the fire at Notre Dame does this private tour still go there or is there a substitution for that part of the tour?

I'd like to know how much time is spent in Notre Dame? We have seen it several times in the past. We would love to go up in the tower, but don't really need another tour of the main church. We are a party of 4, looking at March 19th.
