What to expect
Begin your private walking tour in central Paris. Then head near the Gothic Notre-Dame Cathedral where your art historian guide shares the rich history of this iconic landmark and gives context for its location on the Ile de la Cité. As you walk the cobblestone streets of the Latin Quarter, you learn to spot the architectural clues that a building dates back to the Middle Ages. Visit the Sorbonne and the Hotel de Cluny, a 14-century monastery turned Museum of the Middle Ages, famous for The Lady and the Unicorn tapestries. You see the ornate tower from the 16th-century Church of Saint-Jacques-de-la-Boucherie and visit the Renaissance-style Fountain of the Innocents (Fontaine des Innocents). Explore the stories behind landmarks such as Les Halles, the site of the city’s market dating back to the 1100s. Armed with this knowledge of medieval history, you can wander on your own with greater insight.

Medieval walking tour exceeded expectations!
Mar 2018 • Family
We had the pleasure of being guided through the sites of medieval Paris with Boris. My teenage boys(15 and 18) loved it. It was actually one of our favorite things on our trip. Boris was extremely knowledgeable about everything! It was such a pleasure spending the afternoon with Boris and learning about medieval Paris. Highly recommend!

Medieval Paris Walking Tour - Oustanding
Mar 2018 • Family
My family and I had the great fortune to have Boris take us on a private walking tour of medieval Paris. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Boris was engaging, extremely knowledgeable, personable, and simply just fun. I give Boris highest marks. He patiently answered questions and provided a wonderful picture of what medieval Paris must have been like. We found it to be very educational (but not overly so)...my teenage boys loved it!. Highly, highly recommend.
