- Schocolade00Relaxed, personal and memorable guided visit. Our tour guide Elsa was knowledgeable and an excellent driver. She supplied fascinating information on the Monet family and good tips on the best order in which to see everything and where to find a good coffee. It was rainy and the garden in full August bloom looked fresh-washed and brilliant. Elsa made our afternoon memorable and happy.
- ashleysL6826WZ00Wonderful way to see VersailleWonderful way to see Versaille. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and it was a great experience. Would recommend.
- T8621HRsandrak00The highlight of my Paris vacation! The bike tour was the highlight of my Paris vacation! It was meticulously organized, easy to participate, and so much fun. The stop at the market was fantastic. Bread, meat, and cheese were very reasonably priced; the fruit, not so much. Each bike had its own name, and a pair of saddlebags for your lunch. The bike tour around the gardens was so unique, and a great way to experience the vastness of Versailles. Our guide was so attentive, funny, and informative. After lunch, we started at the smaller buildings, including Marie Antoinette's hamlet. Then, we had the opportunity to explore the grand palace and grounds at our own pace, which was tremendous! Our guide provided us with a return train ticket and a map so that we could determine our own timeline. It was absolutely fantastic! I wholeheartedly recommend this tour; it made the trip so special.
- Alina W00Highly recommendedMy guide Lucy is really nice. Three castles are definitely giving you different experiences. Highly recommend if you want to get away from Paris and enjoy the quietness and fun journey in Loire valley.
- Sharon W00Biking VersaillesWe went to the market first, which was great. We were then able to eat a picnic lunch at the grand canal. Well organized. A arundel way to see everything there.
- Natalie K00Best way to see VersaillesYou’re in a group of no more than 10 so it’s very personalised. We caught the train with our guide and started at the markets where we collected some goodies that we would eat for lunch later that day. Our guide Mappi was so knowledgeable and ensured we all had a great time. We were able to cover so much in just one day and riding with the bikes was the best experience. I was expecting the cute little baskets at the front, instead we had a saddle bag to share between two which in hindsight was more practical. You can’t take the bikes into the ticketed areas so there is some walking by foot and some of the times felt rushed but there was just so much to fit in. With a finish in the palace and gardens we had unlimited time here as this is where the tour ended. This was perfect as it was the building with the most to see. The gardens were also so beautiful, we could have spent a whole day there alone.
- Cruiser6406599975600Fantastic visitReally friendly & knowledgeable guide. We beat the queue and had a memorable visit to Monet’s gardens.
- hockeyman7900Normandy tripWe really enjoyed the trip. Aaron was our guide and you could tell he really loves his job. The weather was bad at times as it rained off and on all day but we made the best of it. My wife and I had forgot our umbrella but they provided umbrellas for everyone. We were so thankful for that because we'd have been soaked without them!! The only time we felt rushed was at the Overlord Museum. If you really want to read everything there you'd need at least 2-3 hours. But frankly that museum is not why we went on the tour Definitely recommend this tour.
- Duch_FamilyofFive00Great tour and guideThis tour was so much fun. We learned a lot and were able to see so many great things along the way. Our guide Kez was awesome. So much fun, very knowledgeable and entertaining. I highly recommend this tour. It was one of our favorite activities on our trip.
- Michelle W00The highlight of FranceMathieu was very attentive and very knowledgeable, couldn't of asked for a better experience. Easily the best tour guide we have had on our European travels.
- 116jessya00AwesomeOverall very nice experience, and nice guide. The market and the picnic were lovely. I would recommend.
- snlink7300Fantastic experience with WillOur experience was amazing, end-to-end. Our pick up was easy. A block from Arc de Triomphe. Our driver, Will, was knowledgeable, friendly and fun! We enjoyed his demeanor and he made it easy for us the entire way. The lunch and cider tasting place he took us to in Normandy was cute, quaint, and had fantastic food. Everyone was friendly and it was an overall great experience! Plus, the owner/family member was funny and made our time there special. Some might worry that the people you are with all day may not gel with you, but we really lucked out! Overall, it was a great day with a great guide and people! Worth the money! And such an incredibly moving experience at Normandy.
- TeaRockLiliy00Take this tourAn exceptionally informed, efficient, personable and accommodating guide made this an exceptional tour. Thank you, Guillaume!
- brysons60900Paris cycle with the familyVanessa the guide was lovely and informative, it’s a relaxed ride and so pleasurable, there was so many sites to see and a must to do at the start of any trip to Paris , 1st , 2nd or 3rd visit !’
- Marliane B00The highlight of our trip!!It was the highlight of our trip. The kids really enjoyed the bike ride. Our guide, Vanessa, was awesome and very patient with the kids. The bike ride was generally pretty easy. It’s really a good way to see everything since it comes with the passport pass. The only issue was the kids were denied entry to the garden at the end of the trip and there’s nothing I could do about it. Regardless, I would still highly recommend this tour.

Nope: "As you walk through the medieval streets your guide will share stories and legends about this amazing one of a kind island town."
1. The guide did not speak English. In FQA section, the company specifies that the guide speaks English fluently.
Nope: "As you make your way through the winding streets leading up to the peak of the island your guide will be there to share fun and interesting stories about Mont Saint Michel throughout the ages. Your guide will answer all of your questions and help you to take your souvenir photos as well."
2. The guide did not speak English and didn't even wait for us to catch up as he walked up.
Nope: "You’ll also have time to find the perfect souvenir that will remind you of your time on Mont Saint Michel among the towns many shops and of course find the best spots to take your souvenir photos of this one of a kind island."
3. We arrived in Mont St. Michele at 11:30. He told us to return to our meeting spot at 2:30. His English was so poor that we had to ask him several times to clarify this. We were all back at the meeting spot at 2:20 so we left then. There was no time to shop and we felt rushed through the tour and then our lunch because we had such little time.
4. The van ride. . . OMG. He drove like a maniac on the way back. Totally unsafe. Would ride up to bumpers on cars ahead of us. He was driving over 90 mph and was much faster than other traffic. We got so worried for our safety that we asked him to slow down, which he did.
5. We were back at the arch by 6:25. Considering that the info said the tour would return us around 7:30, it's quite clear that the driver cheated us out of an additional hour or so on the island. What a disappointment.
6. The cider tour was a roadside stand. No info on anything. Just an opportunity to spend money and line someone's pockets.

What an amazing experience. Our tour guide, Phillipe, was awesome. He was very knowledgeable, funny and accommodating to everyone’s needs. The tour started on time at 7 AM and ended at 7:30 PM. It could have been a very long day due to the on going strikes. But Phillipe was able to navigate around the road blockages and kept our tour on scheduled. Highly recommended!!!

The meeting place for this tour was at a restaurant near the Arc de Triomphe. Since we were meeting early, we took photos near the Arc de Triomphe while there were few cars and people out. Our tour guide Antoine (Tony) was extremely nice, charming and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour. There were 5 people total on our tour plus Antoine. The location is magical. Take care as there is a lot of walking and stairs, but a beautiful site to visit. The Cider tasting was done after visiting Mont Saint-Michel. Enjoyed that as well and purchased a bottle to take home.

Worth it if you want a simple experience without figuring out the metro/train/taxi combo to do it alone.
The van ride was easy, but silent- the driver did not give any background on the abbey or the areas we drove through (3.5 hours). Would have been nice to hear "hey, the Bayeaux tapestry is right there, here's some facts about it." Or really anything, it felt like we were just in a taxi that we paid $200+ a head for.
There was about a 20 minute walking discussion before sent on our own at the abbey, which was nice.
However, what you're paying for is the ease of just getting in a van and getting dropped right at the abbey. There is no "guided tour" to speak of.
Still, it was much easier than trying to do by myself!

Bonjour alexgr8uk,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience on the Mont St Michel tour.
We're sorry to hear that the tour didn't meet your expectations.
Guides have good and bad days and perhaps you were unlucky to have been assigned a guide who was not on their A-game that particular day.
Usually we get really positive feedback on the tour, so we really are sorry to hear about this.
We hope you still enjoyed the abbey and the sights and that we might tour with you again in the future.

Sarah, our guide, was wonderful! She was personable and kind.
There is a cafe at the meeting site which is open before the tour leaves. Which is very nice as a previous tour we took there was nothing open.
There is a lot of walking and stairs involved.
Bring water, snacks and wear comfortable shoes. Bring headphones for the tour of the Abby.
It was very crowed at Mont St. Michel, it was nice to be able to ski the line to get to the Abby.
It is a long day, but worth the trip.
Enjoy!

Our trip was fantastic, Antoine our guide was knowledgeable, very social and humurous. He was able to tell the story of mont st michel in an interesting way and his love of this place was obvious. The day went so quickly but thrilled we were able to make the trip here in the day. Would totally recommend this to anyone looking to visit this historical site. Good with the small group as we were able to ask lots of questions and have them answered very well.

Simply incredible! We enjoyed the day and all the tour offered. No matter the size, with Blue Fox, the tour will take place. We had three total guests for the tour and it was phenomenal. We couldn't have asked for anything more as everything was on time and exactly as described. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the day interesting without feeling drawn out. We would highly recommend this tour to others.

This is a long tour -- four hours each way from Paris. Our guide/driver, Sarah, grew up near the Mont and gave us enough info, but not too much, about the abbey, and guided us through a short-cut past the gauntlet of shops I would have easily missed.
She did not lead us through the abbey itself. That requires a special guide license. Instead, the tour included use of an audio guide to use at our own pace. We had ample time on our own to see the abbey and have lunch on our own.
The tour is limited to 8 people so there are no long delays for the bus and bathroom breaks. The vans are new and comfortable as vans go.

Amazing would be an understatement. The weather was perfect on the day of and the tour budgeted enough time to explore the entirety of Mont St. Michel and have a relaxing lunch. Great van with phone charging available and welcome to take a quick nap if needed. Guillaume (the tour guide) had the most wonderful personality the whole trip. 11/10 would recommend.

Do u have hotel pick up ? Or how far from hotel Chateau Frontenac to meeting point (how to go ?)
With this tour, how much time do you have to spend at Mt Saint Michel? Do most people feel that is plenty of time to see the sites and browse the shops, etc?

About 3 hours on the Mount. It was crowded to get a good lunch. We did a fun cider tasting on way home. Plenty of time for shopping as the shops were very touristy. The sight of the Mount & visiting the abbey was well worth the trip. Loved it. We went on 5 Blue Fox tours on our fall trip to Paris. They were wonderful & we’d do them again!
Can we attend mass at the abbey ? We really want to do that more than anything. Thank you.

Saludos,
