This is an excellent tour. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable to make sure our family have a great experience and see the most memorable parts of Normandy. He did a great job explaining how D-Day progressed, telling stories to help explain each area, taking us to all the right places, and making the day memorable. I would highly recommend this tour. Our whole family enjoyed the day.

Our day trip to Normandy in a small group - 4 adults and 2 children - was the highlight of our trip to Paris. Emilie, our guide, was so knowledgeable and interesting and she took extra care to be sure the children (7 and 10)were totally engaged in every area. Even though we had really bad weather, we were able to adapt and see everything. It was the second time my husband and I have taken the Normandy tour, and we learned so much more this time. This was worth every penny of what we paid to get the private tour. If we ever get to come back to Paris, we're asking to see what tour Emilie is doing.

We spent a great day in Normandy seeing the DDay beaches, American cemetery and museum. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and tried to recreate the experience of that day. Would highly recommend Jozef!

Emily our tour guide was perfect. She accommodated our needs, including my mobility issues, very well she was extremely knowledgeable on the events and circumstances of D-Day and the geography. On our trip to Normandy from Paris, she highlighted sights, events and history to educate us. I would definitely suggest her.

This trip was so emotional and revealing. Our guide, Jozef, gave us very in-depth explanations of everything that occurred during D-day and the days following. We walked Pointe du Hoc, Omaha beach and the American cemetery . Our guide took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch in a fishing village. The day was exceptional. Highly recommend it.

Walking on Omaha Beach and having our guide narrate the battle was a very moving experience. Joe, our guide, knew details and the impact of each part of the day. He told of the aftermath from all perspectives and gave us the backstory of the people living in the area. Best experience of my entire trip to France.

The tour guide had great knowledge of the subject and a great delivery. The guide went out of his way to show us the sites and convey his knowledge. The guide added extras and extended himself to our family in the mist of the coronavirus. We cannot thank him enough for all he did for us.

This tour was perfect for our family. We wanted to go to Normandy but were not confident figuring out all of the trains to/from Paris so finding one that left from Paris was just what we needed. The weather was touch and go leading up to our scheduled tour date but Josef was in constant communication with us on what to maybe expect, if some things might be closed, what possible back up plans could be... thankfully we said lets just do and we are so glad we did! Josef was great, super knowledgeable and informative. It ended up being such a perfect day!

My family was so fortunate to have Jozef as our tour guide for 3 three days. We toured Paris with him, went to Normandy and then did a tour of the Champagne region. Simply said, he made our trip to France wonderfully special. He’s fun, knowledgeable and very accommodating. We will come back to this beautiful country and when we plan it, Jozef will be our first call!

Josef our tour guide picked us up at our hotel in the morning. The ride to Normandy flew by as he shared some history with us. Over the course of the day we saw all the major battle sites and the cemeteries. We learned so much of the stories of the people and the strategy and the day went so fast.

I was wondering if it is best to stay at a hotel near DeGaulle Airport and have you pick us up there or stay in a downtown hotel in Paris? Just wondering which area would be more convenient and easier to get to Normandy from. Thank-you.

Would it be better to go to Normandy from Paris on our own and get a hotel room and take the tour from the hotel, or start the tour in Paris? My son's 20 and 23 are interested in seeing Normandy while we are in Paris. I want to make the experience enjoyable for them.

We used Viator and had Jozef, the co-owner of Private Trip. It was a all day tour from Paris. He was great and the tour was excellent. But it is a long day (6:30 AM to about 7:30 PM) as it takes almost 3 hours to get here. I believe he does a two day tour with an over night in Bayeux. I would look into that. But I would thing doing a tour from Bayeux might give you more time to see more. But our tour and Jozef was great.

We are having a family trip to Paris in September and are wanting to book your Normandy trip. We will have 4 adults,2 boys 10 and 12, and a 16month old baby boy. So we would need a car seat and I did not see where I could let you know that. Also is the price the same for adults and children? Thank you for any information you can give me.

We highly recommend Jozef and this trip.
I am planning a trip next May. Is it possible on the return to Paris to be dropped off at the airport instead of the hotel where we would be picked up at.

Hi, my husband and I would love to take this private D-Day tour but I have a question on the price. At the top it advertises $218.93 low price guarantee. When I punch in 2 travelers it gives me a price of $1,535.86. What is accurate? That is a huge price different.

Our tours are private, meaning once booked you will not share it with other party (in your case only you with your husband and guide for the whole day). I can't speak for the tour guide, but it is extremely likely. It is an entire day, the guide will have tried to guess at the 5 or 6 most appropriate sites/stops,; swapping out a stop is not a big deal, and the guide's focus is your party's fulfillment.
