    Amazing performance
Amazing show …full Of skills ,colors and amazing performance. Better to line up early for the show to grab a good seat. Though it’s visible all throughout. We were amazed by the performances. But one thing though it allows 6 yrs and above parents should read about it before taking kids.

Main Show is Magical- Dinner and PreShow a Mess
First, the actual Moulin Rouge show itself is spectacular and worth every single penny. That said, the pre show dinner and pre show I recommend one skip. The food was not good. This is Paris, I expect something edible. The entertainment, bless their hearts, was horrible. The male and female singer were so bad I was shocked. I would give the pre show dinner and show 1-2 stars. I would give the Moulin Rouge show 5 stars. I’ve settled in 4 stars but you figure out what’s worth seeing.

I recommend the Lido instead of the Moulin Rouge
We ordered dinner and a show, and were allocated a table behind a desk. The first part (live music) we just looked at the toms of waiters. When we asked for a better place, we met the wall, and rude behavior from an older waiter. I recommend the Lido instead of the Moulin Rouge. The show was good, but you will be assigned a seat with poor visibility and poor service. Don't expect empathy in France. No public control on taxis, as they will rip you off.

    Disappointing
I'm afraid, I agree with the disappointing reviews. My Husband booked this as a Surprise for my 50th Birthday. Firstly, we got an an email before the show just letting us know that the show was running an hour late! The show was fine however, at times hilarious based on the fact that the male dancers looked like they had literally just been shown the choreography or were still learning it. The acts in between were very classy and really enjoyable. You are literally squeezed in on tiny chairs and basically they fit in as many as they can. Health and Safety gone mad. The champagne was nice. Make sure Men wear trousers and don't try and take in any water or snacks, if you do a woman will shout 'no' at you and demand you put it in the bin. I hadn't specifically taken these, they were in our travel bag as we were in Paris for a short trip and I'm on medication that needs to be taken at certain times!! Would I recommend this show NO. Save your money, travel to London and see a show there.

    Brilliant show
Incredible show with amazingly talented performers and dancers. We had the show and champagne, though did see some of the food and it looked nice. Seating is very cramped and a bit of a unique set up. Your seats aren’t allocated with the ticket purchase so I’d definitely say get there for doors opening for the best seats. We were definitely happier with our seats than some further back on our table were. A great experience and do highly recommended

    Lost for words
Wow what can I say! This show has been on my bucket list and my husband booked a trip to Paris for my 50th to finally see the show. It was beyond anything I expected. My husband attended more for me but said it was the best show he’d ever seen. The dancers were amazing, the costumes so elaborate. Hats off the acrobatic acts, we were lost for words they were so good. An amazing evening that can’t be missed in Paris. Top tip..Get there early for the best seats!

    Must do in Paris
The show itself was incredible. Our seats sucked! Back row, tight seats, slow service. I’d go back and get seats on the floor. The 3-4 main preformed features were something! A must do in Paris try and get better tickets

Underwheming for such an iconic show
Seats very cramped. Opted for just the show as neither of us drink. Warm up were not the best singers. The male dancers were poor, female dancers much better. Saved by the three brilliant variety acts. (If you want to see a fantastic show where the dancing is brilliant then go to the Lion King at Disneyland). Be warned, do not try to take food or water into the venue, you will be shouted at by an aggressive lady on security. Having bought some very expensive chocolates next door I had to put them in the bin - they wouldn't let me put them in the cloakroom. My neice however had her chocolates in a bag from the shop and she was allowed to keep hers if she put the bag in the cloakroom. If I had been rude to the lady I could have understand but the only thing I asked her was if we could go outside (would have rather given them to the homeless people than put in the bin) and come back in. She wouldn't let me. When we came out we saw another security guard with a nice haul of goodies in front of him.

    Nice dinner and spectacular show
We booked this through our travel agent, and it was really one of the funniest parts of our trip. The dinner was better than we expected, and we had a half bottle of champagne. Nice people sitting around us as well. The show is pretty amazing. It is notable that it is topless, at least for the women. I’m not exactly sure what this adds to the quality of the show, but it is certainly a throwback from an earlier day. Still, lots of talent up there on this stage.

Do it! Do it Do it! Vive le Moulin Rouge!
If you're looking for a contemporary take on a the romanticism of Parisian culture, then a visit to the Red Mill is worth your time. Those expecting a pinnacle of fine art and expertly choreographed dances may be slightly disappointed, the entire show is a visual extravaganza with eye catching costumes and entertaining acts. There are overtones of cobblestones and accordians of Paris of yore. It's worth the time and expense! TIPS: Get the bundled champagne package Travel: the Metro stops @ the Windmill! And is open after the late show on a Friday or Saturday

    Great experience!
My wife, myself and another couple decided to go to Moulin Rouge while in Paris. I purchased the tickets online and showed up for the show. Come to find out that my tickets were for the previous night!!! I felt awful. I spoke to an Algerian man that worked there and told him of the situation. He said he'd have his supervisor come by and speak to us. Sebastian, the supervisor spoke to me and directed me to the ticket office. The young lady looked at my reservation and saw that the tickets were not used the previous night. She then advised me that 4 tickets were available the next evening. We returned the next evening. The show was fantastic!! We saw Sebastian and thanked him again for his help . This was greatly appreciated. Thanks Sebastian!!

Fabulous night, it's a must. We had a great view. Don't take food in, even if it is to eat later they took ours off us . Champagne was good too.

A wonderful evening at the moulin rouge!
Absolutely amazing unbelievable. To go to the moulin rouge has been on my bucket list for such a long time and I can tell you now it did not disappoint. My bf surprised me for my birthday. We went for the show and drinks package not the dining. The show itself was unbelievable and breath taking. I was saying oh my god all the way through it was magical. There is nudity. But after a while you do actually stop noticing I think us British are a tad pride so once you're over the shock of it it's such wonderful show it's done in a classy way. I loved every minute it was the perfect birthday present

    Sad and out dated.
Packed in so we could not move, I cannot believe the theatre complies with safety standards, you could not walk to your table, you have to squeeze in through a small gap practically sitting on others tables to get to your seat. There were six to our table but all chairs could not fit around the table, we had to sit at an angle just to fit in. The theatre is old and faded. The male dancers were amateur, there were some excellent women. The whole thing is dated, the women strip in the first number to g strings and they bring out the men, you would expect them to strip too but no, they stay fully clothed. Pathetic, old fashioned, and just plain dated, do not waste your money. So over priced.

My partner and I went with open minds and an expectation of potentially being put out our comfort zone. Our thoughts were of ‘Burlesque/risqué dancing ….but to say we were underwhelmed is an understatement. The dancing was very lacklustre, the male lead was weak, did not stamp his authority on the performance and almost appeared like he could not be bothered. The dancers were often out of time and overall we’ve seen better performances by dance troops on Britain’s got talent and similar TV programs. Some of the skitts were almost childish (think ‘Goodship Lollipop’ etc) and could have easily performed better by high school students. Having said that, the non-Moulin Rouge acts were incredible. There were 3 of these which involved amazing feats of strength and agility. They made the evening. Be warned that as you are sharing a table with complete strangers it could make or break your evening, however luckily enough we had great people at ours. However the table was towards the back of the theatre and both my partner and I were unable to see the whole stage due to big pillars in the middle of the theatre. As you can’t choose your seats we were quite annoyed as there was no mention of restricted viewing at the time of booking. We left feeling it was very overpriced for what was delivered and would not recommend to our friends.

To anyone visiting Paris this is an absolute must-do. I’ve read a lot of the other negative reviews and in my opinion they are just not true! This place is steeped in history, you know what you think it’ll be like but it’s just so much better in real life!
The theatre:
You will queue for up to 30 minutes to get to your seat, this is because you are ushered individually and they are very thorough with covid rules etc. You will probably share your table with another couple (who will also have been fully vaxxed) but this adds to the intimacy. The decor is opulent and very impressive, it’s somewhere you can’t help but feel very special to be a part of.
The show:
Cameras and phones cannot be used during the live show. This is a strict rule, you can be asked to leave if you disobey, in fairness there is so much going on that you can only really take it all in with your eyes anyway.
The show was WOW. Absolutely amazing. The dancers were so talented, natural and some of the acts were utterly mind blowing. All done very tastefully, and anyone attending probably knows there is a lot of naked flesh on show, but this is all presented without sleaze or any hint of sexism. The dancers were all stunning and very professional, and the costumes and routines were so mesmerising and complex it was a work of genius. I won’t spoil it by sharing any major details, I’ll just say this: “words won’t do this justice. It’s a must do for any adult couples who want high level entertainment”.
The area:
Paris as a city has some good bits and some areas you probably wouldn’t choose to hang about in for too long after night - as with any major city. The immediate area is leaning towards the latter, but we got a taxi there and then went to an Irish bar a few doors down after the show (also thoroughly recommend if you don’t want the night to end). There was no hint of trouble or worry that we experienced during the night.

The show is top notch and shouldn't be missed, but upon entering they seem very unorganized where they heard you like cattle into a separate room where its uncomfortably hot. You sit there and sweat for 30+ minutes before trickling towards the door before seating you. You would thing that after all these years and experience they would figure this out. At the min turn on the air.

Places are first come, first served.
We arrived at 10:20pm for the 11:00pm show and we had great places.
I would not recommend arriving after 10:30 if you want to be close to the stage.
This being said places at the back might also be a great spot because the show is design the be viwed from the front as the show is often symmetrical, we could touch the stage but we were on a corner so that was fun to be so close and touch the feathers but we would not see the 'full experience' like the people in the middle would.

For the 11:00pm show, you will stand in line before being directed to the real venue until 11:05 to say the least. The show really starts around 12 and ends around 2AM.

We thought we would go for dinner after the show at the top of Montmartre as the restaurants there close at 2 but we had the surprise that the show finishes at 2. Which was great to be honest but we should have had dinner before the show, not after.

The show itself was not as burlesque as we thought it would be. Some parts are, but it is not only that, maybe 20 to 30% burlesque and the rest just dancing on different vibes / storytelling which was for me a bit of a disappointment but this is a very personnal statement. Globally, the show was amazing and I would recommend everyone visiting Paris to go and see it as it is a mythical location and thing to do in Paris.

Would recommend!

We were absolutely so disappointed with our night at the Moulin Rouge. Tickets are not cheap and what a shambles it was!! So, so, so disorganised.

We booked the 11pm show including champagne (1/2 bottle pp) and booked months in advance. On the night it says to get there 30 min early to queue. We were crammed in like sheep for 45 mins in the queue! Even though we got there early we had horrible seats at the back of the theatre so no idea what system they use for seating? No one faces forward so you can’t really see the show! It took over an hour to get everyone in and seated and the show didn’t start til after midnight. Such a rush.

Worst of all the staff didn’t honour our champagne on our tickets so we had to sit for 1.5 hours with NO drinks in a hot room. We tried to explain and show our receipt in the email & proof but they didn’t understand English. Such a disappointment considering we came all the way from Sydney, Australia.

I previously thought the Moulin Rouge was a professional establishment and a must-do when in Paris but now realise it is just a tourist trap to take your money. Will not be returning or recommending it to anyone else.

I was slightly apprehensive on booking due to mixed reviews but glad we did in the end. It is quite expensive but for the late night show considering it’s an hour and a half but you do get a bottle of champagne included. It’s definitely something you’ll do once and not again!

The show is really fun and exciting, the outfits are amazing! The cast were really high energy and seemed really happy to be there. The room is very intimate so most people had a great view. It’s also very well organised as they have people show you to your table on entrance which seems to be quite random and first come first serve.

The dress code on the website says ‘no sportswear or sports shoes’. We found no staff were really looking at what anyone was wearing, my partner only had trainers due to us only being in Paris for 2 nights so didn’t have any ‘dress shoes’, but turned out a lot of people were wearing trainers in the end! So don’t worry about this like we did! It’s very relaxed and seems to cater to tourists.

For the late night show it ended around 1am so allowed us to get back on the metro to get back to our hotel too!

The evening was great. The show was different from expected, with several acrobatic acts, which were very clever. The dancing and the costumes were excellent.
The organisation in getting so many people in, seated annd waited on was impressive (11pm show and it was full) well worth the experience

There were 4 of us on our group at €160 per person we were expecting the show to be spectacular, we were very disappointed. We arrived at 8.20pm for the 9pm show, no need to queue as it’s absolutely pot luck with where you sit. We were sat with another couple on a table that’s probably more equipped for 4 people, they really do ram as many people as possible in to the theatre it’s pretty claustrophobic. It’s an absolute joke to be honest. Not to mention how hot it is!!

The champagne arrived which was a decent bottle, the show started 9pm prompt, to sum the whole performance up it would be dull, the performers looked bored half the time. the snake routine didn’t add anything to the show it was just a little bizarre to be honest, what I will say is the skating act was pretty impressive hence why I bumped it up to 2 starts. To pay over €600 for this show is absolutely daylight robbery. Wouldn’t recommend!!

Very good show , proper French entertainment with singing/dancing girls and guys, balancing act, a very good acrobatic show on roller skates and a gymnastics show , all intertwined together very well. Great iconic theatre location, the champagne went down very well , we only had the one bottle so can’t tell you how much the drinks were as it was included in our ticket.
The show tickets were quite high but it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity and they were affordable to us.
I would recommend anyone visiting Paris to book ahead as we could only get in for the 11pm show and we did that online about two weeks before we traveled, the show was very full so I don’t know if you could get tickets on the day , better to book ahead.

I have heard so much of the Moulin Rouge cabaret show and finally got to experience it first hand in June 2019. Being a first timer to Paris I was rather impressed with the personalised service of Paris City Vision. The driver called me at the hotel to advise pick up time and he was punctual to a fault.

The cabaret show was even more spectacular than I thought and I was gobsmacked by the stage setting, the outfits and the choreography. Being seated at the back I had a panoramic view of the entire show.

My favourite by far is the lively can can and when it came on stage I felt I was transported back to the halcyon days of Parisian life. It is the piece de resistance
and a half bottle of champagne only served to enhance the evening.

I had many highlights in my 6 weeks tour of Europe but Moulin Rouge is the icing in the cake and the coolest experience of the whole trip.
