The trip takes more than 2 hours and our guide obviously knew what he was talking about.
This trip is off the beaten track.

An excellent way to spend an afternoon
Oct 2019
Experienced the operation of the lochs on the canals, see Paris street culture and travel under the Bastille. The guide was very informative and gave a French and English commentary. A very relaxing afternoon and lots to see around the canal basin.

A different way to see Paris
Dec 2019 • Couples
The tour was everything we expected. We did not know about the canal before. Since it is a one way trip we used the tour as an alternative to riding the Metro. We happened to be in Paris during the transportation strike so we planned accordingly. Our guide took great pains to speak English for the only non-French on the tour.

Nightmare on the river
Nov 2019 • Friends
This 150 minute cruise is one to avoid if you do not speak French. Being part of a group of 6 we joined for a view of the Seine and Canal with interesting commentary however the trip consisted of 90% of the commentary in French and 9 locks which took more time to manoeuvre than travelling on the river/canal. We were dropped off in the middle of no where in the far North of Paris requiring a long metro journey back to the centre of Paris.
The boat had no facilities for food and drink.
I would strongly recommend that you save your money, we were all extremely disappointed and could have used the time more wisely in the city.

Missed it.....
We arrived early for cruise, but it turned out it leaves from two different locations. By the time we realized what we had done, the cruise was supposed to leave in 5 minutes and we were 1/2 hour away by car. Very disappointed. We tried calling to find out correct location, but no one answered the phone number they provided. I wrote them an email hoping to reschedule but it took days to get a response. The reply which came was , well everyone else figures it out. I'm not so sure.....

A wonderful way of seeing Paris from a different perspective
Oct 2019
I really enjoyed the afternoon we spent on the boat. Travelling downhill (27m drop over 4.5 kms of waterways), through many locks until we reached the Seine - it was a day spent in Paris unlike any other. Our guide made the tour all the more interesting.

Easy booking
Aug 2019
Super easy booking online or on site. Multiple times available along with lots of seats. We did the night sail which showed the city at night with the buildings and landmarks in a different view. It was amazing!! There were so many seats on the boat's top deck which is the spot you want to be at.

Very Good I didn't know that there was such canal underground in Paris. Interestingly, passage of a canal by the same lock gate system water level control as the Panama Canal also recognized the French historical engineering works power once more.

Long, smelly tour, with nice scenery.
Nice scenic cruise on the canals and locks of Paris, finishing with the Seine River. It was about 3 hours long. The seats were uncomfortable. The guide was not very good. It was supposed to be in English but he was hard to understand and only announce less than half the information in English. The diesel fumes were overpowering in the locks and tunnels. I expect better. The scenery was worth the price of admission, but overall, the tour was not impressive.
