This tour is totally private for honemooners. Your private guide will take care of you all during these 2 days. He will drive you to romantic and private places, viewsights and Champagne tastings. He will explain you why the Champagne is so unique and give you most of the information through funny stories. You will have time for the 2 of you in the Spa (drinking champagne!) and for your dinner in a Michelin star restaurant. In 2 days, you'll have a gobal overview of the champagne : the big houses, the small producers and have a romantic evening. You will taste 3 different big houses champagne the first day and 2 small producers with minimum 8 glasses the second day !

It was so lovely to have a personalised tour and not be part of a group, as it meant we were able to engage with Stephane so we got the most out of the experience - his knowledge of champagne, the houses & the region was amazing and we learnt so much. Everything was very well organised, we travelled in a comfortable, clean, modern car and lunch at a local restaurant in Epernay was also delightful. - marcnat0 contributionsEnjoyable.Unfortunately for us we arrived when the renovations were on the go. So we thought it was closed and missed some of the tour driving about trying to find where to park and who to speak to. The staff were very friendly. We missed the introduction and made the chalk cellar tour. Fascinating but not more than a few metres of tunnels to explore. I was hoping for more caves and tunnels. There is a nice light and sound show down there and then you head back to the lounge for a tasting. You get to choose white or rose - vintage and non vintage of your preference. I preferred other houses where you move through to experience all 4 rather than having to choose just 2. But I guess this is the way they do it. Enjoyable. I think my expectations for Ruinnart may have been a little high.Written July 14, 2024

While other tours offer more of a touristy (and busy) spectacle, I rank this one as my favorite because it was more intimate, authentic, and did I mention the elegant? Ruinart started champagne business in September 1729, making them officially the oldest champagne house in the world. We had 3 kids and we were able to enjoy some champagne houses with them! He also helped us with train times and the whole process was smooth! Would 100% recommend! The day was planned perfectly and he coordinated with us in advance to ensure the experience met our desire to visit local champagne producers. We were so lucky to visit during harvest and were able to see the producers in full action. Truly a unique and memorable experience. The lunch cooked by his wife was such a special touch, and visiting with them at their house really added to the day. Biggest factor for going on a private tour was having a child. It allowed us to be able to see the champagne houses with ease while learning as much as possible. The Veuve Clicquot tour and tasting was the BEST Ive ever been on. Our guide was very informative and interesting and the cellar was so beautiful to see!! The tasting was 5 star!!! Pommery was a beautiful experience as well! The special lunch at the local french restaurant was such a special experience and appreciate the chef offering a special menu for my dietary restrictions. The food was EXCELLENT!!! We appreciate Stephane and all his attention to detail and answering all my questions in advance and arranging all our tours. Stephane was an amazing guide throughout our 2 day visit with him. Our only regret is that we didn't make it longer. He has a way of sharing his in depth knowledge of the area in an interesting and exciting way. Our visits to each of the vineyards were amazing, especially the smaller houses that he chose. His ongoing communication prior to our visit was outstanding while he was custom planning our tour. He patiently answered every question and was quick to welcome us to Reims once we arrived.
