We had an absolutely fantastic tour today! Quentin was great about responding to messages and getting us scheduled for a tour, and was very accommodating of the individual needs of our group. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, very fun, and put a lot of effort into showing us a great time. The tour was well organized and included a very scenic bike route, a substantial and tasty picnic (including wine!) , and a tasting experience that we would never have been able to get on our own. We got to visit some very diverse vineyards and learn a lot about the local varieties. We definitely appreciated the small group size and the attention given to making sure we all had an enjoyable experience and walked away very happy! We definitely got our money's worth and would book again, 100%. If you're travelling through the Chinon area, drop Quentin a message and get yourself set up for a great day!

My friends and I had a fantastic time biking through gorgeous scenery, learning about the local wines and enjoying a delicious picnic lunch. The knowledgeable and friendly guide expertly tailored the experience to our desires. I would highly recommend this tour!

We booked a day tour with a picnic lunch and it was the highlight of our two week trip to France. Quentin gave us the option for regular bikes or e-bikes, and he planned an amazing bike route for my family. We visited two wineries and had a picnic lunch on the river overlooking Chinon. He was very engaging and we learned a lot from him - he is the best tour guide! We learned about different wines of the Loire Valley, and how prominent wine caves are in Chinon. We even got to visit a winery based in a cave! Do yourself a favor and book this tour - it was amazing!

After squeezing my wife and I in for an afternoon vineyard tour in 2019 (which was superb!) I decided to book onto the full tour this year.
This time I took along my father in law. Booking was easy and Quintin made sure my father in law had a bike upgrade to electric!!
Not only did we sample some fantastic wines (I came home with a lot of bottles!) but we had a lot of history about Chinon itself and the process of wine making in this region.
We visited 3 vineyards and stopped for a lovely lunch on the river.
The tour is very relaxed and fun and wouldn’t hesitate recommending it!
Looking forward to coming back again and sampling wine from some different vineyards!

We arranged this tour with Quinton ‘on spec’ from Australia during our stay in the Loire Valley. It was a delight!
The town of Chinon was one of the most beautiful we have seen so far in the Loire and learnt from our host that it is a very significant historical town in France with connections to Jean of Arc and Henri II.
Quentin then took us on a tour of 3 very different local wineries, each with its own particular tale to tell. He is obviously well regarded by the locals wine makers and they were all very engaging and the wines enjoyable.
Would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a special experience while staying in the Loire.

Quintin clearly knew the area well and after visiting three different producers and cycling across the countryside, we felt like we'd gotten a good feel for the AOC of Chinon. A lovely introduction to where we were visiting for the rest of the week, highly recommend.

Quentin was an excellent guide. He was punctual and very hospitable when we first met. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the tour. He went to great lengths to make sure we visited the best vineyards around Chinon and it was our good fortune that it was also harvest time. We toured at a very appropriate pace and he used caution on the roads at all times. Quentin provided, as well, a delicious picnic which we enjoyed in the sunshine by the river. We highly recommend Quentin as a guide and this fun experience when you visit lovely Chinon,

What a marvellous day we had ,Quintin was an exceptional Host (i say host because he was so much more than just a guide) his informative & witty talk kept us entertained all day ,the wine tasting at the vineyards was really well done with a walk around the vast cellars to get a true feel of the history & pedigree of these family owned wine producers, we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather but regardless of that we will do it again next visit.
We cannot recommend this tour highly enough we enjoyed the entire 5 1/2 hours we were in his company.

This turned out to be a highlight of our trip to the Loire Valley. Our tour through several wineries by bike included a picnic by the river Cher with views and wine of course! The roads were safe for riders and Quintin kept us entertained with his knowledge of the area, the grapes, the vineyards and yes-the wine! It really was a fun and intimate way to get to know Chenin. Would give more stars if I could!
