We had such a great time on this trip! We did the half day (3 hour) trip, leaving from Beaune. Theo was our guide. He was knowledgeable and friendly. The four of us were paired with one other couple, and we opted for the electric bikes--do this!! It is more expensive but so worth it to just zoom on through the countryside without getting worn out. We biked through the fields of grape vines, learned about the classifications of Burgundy wine, learned how to read the wine bottle labels, and visited a winery before biking back to Beaune. Lovely trip, great guide. Highly recommend!

We can’t say enough positive things about this tour. We had Theo who was amazing! His knowledge of wine, history, culture and his pride and passion of French wine and culture was inspiring. It was a relaxed day, but don’t be mistaken you are pedaling for 17 miles throughout the day. We had an enjoyable meal in a small restaurant in one of the towns. And we rode through some of the most beautiful countryside and towns with buildings from the 11th Century. If you can’t pedal all day we suggest getting electric bikes, I borrowed one for one hill and it was a blast! And if you don’t know how to ride a bike I would not book the full-day tour maybe a half-day would be more your speed. We highly recommend this tour!

We had a very fun an educational ride through the vineyards and small towns around Beaune with a group of 4 couples. We enjoyed meeting a local wine maker and tasting a variety of wines. The bikes were great and the touring route would be suitable for all cyclists. Tour guide kept us entertained with all sorts of history and details about wine making in Burgundy.

This wonderful bike tour was the highlight of our short stay in Beaune. It is the perfect antidote to several months of lockdown and combines two of our favourite holiday activities - easy cycling and drinking wine! Our guide Florian was both entertaining and informative as he led us safely around the beautiful region avoiding dangerous roads and pointing out things of beauty and places of interest. We stopped for three wine tastings and a leisurely outdoor lunch accompanied by plenty of wine in a lovely village restaurant where my food intolerances were catered for. At the final stop we decided to buy some of the local wine having enjoyed it in the tasting and are happy to discover that it tastes just as good when drunk back at home as it did in the rustic setting of the local wine maker’s tasting room. All in all, good value for a full day of fun and learning.

What could be better than getting a bit of exercise, experiencing the beautiful vineyards around Beaune and then being led through a tasting of a number of the local delicious wines at a small producer.
Guillaume is both knowledgeable and approachable, pitching his talk at a good level for everyone to understand and enjoy.
The bikes are decent quality and the wines are superb.
We even got to experience the tractor bringing in the new harvest and the grapes being loaded into the (sorting and stalk removal) machine start of the vinification process. This is one of the earliest harvests they have ever done due to the hot summer so this was an added bonus to see!
Disclosure : I did the tour in french with around 14 others, but Guillaume also speaks english if required. The winery man actually led us through the process of tasting.
Highly recommended afternoon out - 2pm until around 6pm, maybe a little later

Thank you very much for you great review. It was a pleasure to share my passion with you. The group was awesome, and it was great to share our experiences and knowledges about the wines.
Thank you again for your contact in Paris to learn more about foreign wines.

Fantastic !
We booked a day tour with them towards the end of June 2021. Because it was a Tuesday and probably because France just re-opened after the Covid lockdown, we were the only customers and basically had a private tour! Our guide, Theo, was awesome. He is a knowledgeable, friendly and very approachable local of the region, and his tour exceeded our expectations. We both learned a lot about wine and wine making, got some cool anecdote about castles and the history of the region. We both would recommended this company to anyone who wants to enjoy a leisurely (mostly downhill) bike ride while drinking a perfect amount of excellent premier cru and other local wine, meet the makers and discover the region.

Learning about appellation of wine under a tree next to the cliffs of Saint Romain , then freewheeling through the cutest villages and stunning vineyards. Also lunch at a high end restaurant , and more wine tasting ( including at a 6 generational family vineyard who still make wine by the cycle of the moon) . Our guide , Theo was superb.

Our group of 4 couples had an amazing day with Cedric exploring small towns and vineyards in Burgundy. Regarding the logistical aspects of the tour - the office was easy to find and get to; the bicycles are in good condition and there is an electric option available, which some of our group did take advantage of; and saddlebags were provided so that we could purchase and carry wine to enjoy later on. October was a great time to go, as the scenery was just beautiful with the vineyards all in gold. We enjoyed tasting wines at two places, one larger and more developed, the other smaller and family owned. Lunch was very good and accommodated the dietary restrictions of one of our group. Cedric was delightful and informative. We appreciated that he went out of his way to help us with lunch reservations for the following day (a Sunday when many places are closed). Overall highly recommend, the day was a highlight of our week in Burgundy!

The tour was very well organised and the bikes were perfect for the terrain. Our guide Theo is very knowledgeable about the region and the wines, and he made sure we all had fun while learning so much about Burgundy wines as well as the complicated "appellations" system. great guide, highly recommended
The group was 8 including ourselves which is a nice size, and all very friendly. The wine tastings ranged from sampling a bootle of Aligote under the shade of some trees looking out over the countryside, to a very up-market Chateau and finally a family vineyard. The lunch location was stunning and despite feeling a little scruffy in our bike gear, we had a delicious set menu. The best aspect of the trip was how much we learned about Burgundy wines and for that we are very grateful to Theo who answered all our questions and made it a fun day out

We had a wonderful day cycling among the vineyard, it was our first bike tour with my husband and we loved it, we really needed this type of experience after 16 weeks in lockdown! Eric was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable and pleasant. You go through lots of lovely villages, see well known castle, discover different cellar (big ones and small owners). We loved this concept of cycling, wine tasting, have a nice meal for lunch, cycle again mostly on quiet roads, more wine tasting and finally ride in the mini bus back to the shop. We have been recommending to friends and family.

Hello, very interested in your bike tour. Outlet questions: can you confirm that electric bikes are available and in good working condition? Also, can you confirm which wineries and wines are included in the tour? I am specifically interested in Montrachets. Thank you

I am thinking of booking the full day wine wine tour of Beaune but I am unsure of fitness level needed? How many miles/km is the tour and what is the terrain like? Thanks.

My wife and I did it last fall and thoroughly enjoyed it. That being said I sold it to my wife as a 5-10 difficulty and it was probably a 7.5 with one or two long uphills. The bikes are great quality though so you can downshift to make it fairly easy. You’ll love it, great experience.
