Wonderful half day tour, highly recommended!
We had a fantastic half-day tour to the medieval town of St. Emilion and a small organic winery. The town was quintessential, with charming cobblestone streets and historic architecture. It was lovely to see the wine-making process in a family-owned organic winery, where we learned about their dedication to sustainable practices. The wines were delicious, each offering unique flavors that reflected the care and tradition behind them. Thank you to our guide, Emanuel; he was a great guide, providing insightful commentary and making the experience truly memorable.

    Excellent St Emillion experience
We enjoyed a fabulous half day to to St. Emillion with Emmanuel in May. We visited a local winery & enjoyed a very interesting tour & lovely tasting. We then did a fabulous walking tour of St Emillion, tasting the local macaron with Emmanuel sharing all his local knowledge & history of the area. Emmanuel was very entertaining & we enjoyed lots of interesting anecdotes of the area while enjoying the history & culture on the tour. Emmanuel was very kind to drop us off in St. Emillion at the end of the tour as we were staying the night. Emmanuel is very passionate and ensures all his guests have the best experience. Highly recommended.

    Marvelous experience
I truly enjoyed one day trip to Saint Emillion with a guide Emanuel. Nice wine tasting at the organic winery garden and walking in the historical town.

Merci pour le sommet de notre voyage! :-D
We are history nerds, travelling to Bordeaux off season. The guided tour "Bordeaux 1492" was scheduled for the days of our arrival AND departure so it was impossible for us to attend… But after e-mailing with Emmanuel he arranged a private version of the tour for us, on a date that suited us, a custom made mix in French and English = perfect for our needs as a Swedish couple with various French/English skills! And he learned us some bordelaise vocabulary too, lovely! :-D The tour was VERY interesting! As a complement to the sights, Emmanuel also brought with him historical maps and illustrations - super! He enlightened us with details that we definitely would have missed if we hadn't gone on the tour. If we return to Bordeaux, we will definatly book another tour with Vert Bordeaux! Un grand merci de la Suède! ♥

Vert Bordeaux is the best choice for eco-friendly wine region tours
Vert Bordeaux and Emmanuel were very helpful and picked out some very special experiences for us that we would not have gotten anywhere else. Their commitment to ecologically friendly wines and winemakers is refreshing. All of our excursions were so interesting and personal with the information coming straight from the winemakers or those who worked closely with them. Emmanuel was very knowledgeable about the history of not only Bordeaux but also the surrounding areas and had excellent recommendations for us to do on our own. It was so much fun every day with him.

A wonderful visit to St. Emillion
Excellent guide who cared very much about his guests. Wonderful simple but comprehensive explanation of the town history and the countryside. Comfortable van and careful and engaging leader. Thank you for taking us to the very good director of the Bearnaut Vineyard and Winery.

    Hidden Gem of Bordeaux
This trip is a hidden gem of Bordeaux. This is a wine and local culture trip. Emmanuel, our guide put a great deal of time and effort into creating an experience that far exceeded our expectations. The winery we visited was not just another “this is how we make wine” lecture. We met the owners, their new born baby, and walked through the vineyards with them and their dog. The other venues were equally unique, personal, and memorable. I wish I had more time in Bordeaux to experience his other offerings.

Fabulous tour and an exceptional value
The monolithic church and catacombs were awesome. St. Emilion is so picturesque. And lunch was superb. Altogether, a great tour and an excellent value. Go before he increases his prices.

This tour was amazing! The tour guide had to repeat everything in English and French as we had people from the US, Canada, and France. He was really knowledgeable about Bordeaux history and taught us so much. I loved learning all about the history and hearing all the stories even more than all the delicious treats!
